The ordered items from the nba store over a month ago and some of the items have still not been shipped. When I placed the order, it said 2-7 business days. They sent only one email saying items would be delayed within a window and now that period has been exceeded. No follow ups, no apologies or compensation. Some of the items were gifts and now are basically pointless. I would recommend that you never purchase an item from the nba store. Avoid this company, do not support them. They don't care about their fans.
Ordered two shirts to celebrate Raptors championship. Despite them knowing they did not have either in stock as advertised/pictured on their site, they kept it up online to be ordered. One shirt I ordered a male size medium and after 1.5 months later when 4 other items in the delivery already arrived, they ended up shipping me a completely different shirt which was a women's size L. Had to contact customer service and get a refund. The other shirt I ordered a men's medium and they sent a completely different shirt. For this one I had to send it back to get the refund but made them waive the return fee. Will never order clothing online from them ever again, only jerseys and that's only if I cannot find them anywhere else.
A while later they had sales on NBA pins so I ordered a group of them. Instead of shipping it together, they shipped them in groups of 7 separately. 2/3 shipments coming from NY arrived but the third shipment sat unprocessed for a week in Las Vegas before being shipped the second week, arriving in my country the third week, then sent back to Vegas without a delivery attempt for no reason. Had to contact customer service and made them issue a refund of the original order's shipping cost plus the cost of the pins and they said they'd send a new order of the pins as a replacement free of charge.
Ordered a paperweight trophy and bobblehead which were pre-order and are set to ship in September and October. Guess I will have to wait and see if they arrive on time...
Honestly I think the website has good intentions but it seems their distribution network and shipping partners mess up the most. The staff I talk to on the chat function or phone are very sympathetic and even they feel bad for how the customers go through. They are always ready to help you in whatever way they can.
I ordered a slam magazine Allen Iverson shirt. Was nervous about receiving my order on time considering reading all the bad reviews. After ordering it shipped the next day and was delivered less than a week later!
I attempted to purchase a jersey and a sweatshirt as registered user from their EU online store. Hereby, I will try to recapitulate briefly my nasty experience, which in not only unacceptable for the current established practices in the market but, I dare to say, transcends the boundaries of common acceptable manners and jeopardizes common courtesy. The order was never completed (due to a system malfunction) and the payment procedure was not finalized. I decide to try once more with the same result. So far, so good, you might think; nothing bought, nothing paid, nothing to worry about. The fly in the ointment is that, although I have not received any confirmation email from the server yet and the order does still not appear in my account page (that section remains blank), my credit card was charged twice! I have already turned to the site by email (4 messages in total) and received just 1 answer (it just mentioned that the debacle was attributed to a technical problem and that the confirmation message has been sent to all affected recipients - it didn't reach me, nevertheless). Until now I have not been given any logical, personalized, detailed explanation for what happened and so I was obligated to send them a formal letter of complaint. Meanwhile, I am not aware if and when am I going to receive any articles and whether the amount will be refunded (I have repeatedly required them to do so). Unfortunately, the current situation can be only as quite horrendous described and thanks to the incompetence or, rather, indifference of the customer service department, it signifies a deadlock. I am still waiting for an apology, a shipment notification or any form of compensation. It is immensely incomprehensible and totally unfair to incur such a financial loss, to vacillate between precariousness and hopelessness or simply pour money down the drain because of the mediocrity or, I dare to say, the aloofness of their customer service department. To put it in a nutshell, the communication gap, the below-average service and the tendency to neglect queries from clients lead to an absolutely exasperating feeling.
Never again will I order from this store. I ordered 3 t shirts from them which I didn't receive until a month later and after several calls to them. The championship hype has even died down at this point. At first they sent me the wrong shirt then they told me that they would send out the right one with express shipping so I should get it the following week. That took 2 weeks then the 2nd shirt didn't arrive when they told me it would so now I'm on call number 3 to them and they tell me it wasn't shipped out yet and they will again send another by express shipping. At that point I asked for a refund for it just to get it the next day so despite their incompetence, I still got it. Now shirt number 3 also finally arrives but guess what, the image on it is lopsided and it just looks weird and wrong when worn. Clearly the printing was done so horribly and now I have to call them yet again to send this one back and get a refund. If I wanted such quality, I could have just gone to the flea market and paid $5 and the quality would actually be better than this AND I would get the shirt on the same day! I am so disappointed with this whole experience that I will never again shop at this store and would strongly advice anyone not to either. If you are in Canada, save yourself the headache and just shop at sport check. Better quality for the same price and you have the option of getting your stuff on the same day. Why oh why didn't I just do that!
So I placed an order with nba store well over a month ago. When I placed my order the product had literally just become available on the website as it was not there the night before when I was on. So I placed the order and paid for shipping of 2-5 business days. So I waited patiently for an email confirming my order which I received but furthmore never received any other corresponding emails. I contacted customer service and they had no idea what was going on with my order and said it would ship out no later then a specific date because the item I ordered was a special event item. I said ok no problem they said the latest I should receive my order was the 11th of July. And it would be shipped out no later then the first at which point I would receive my texting number. So I waited until the first and did not receive anything. Contacted them again and they fed me more bull $#*! and said call ba k tomorrow (the 2nd) to let our systems process what is going on. So I call d back the n ct day and was told the item was not shipped because they are sold out. They are sooooooooooooooo dumb I ordered it a month ago. They didn't just ship the last one the day before. They are a garbage company. I can get nba gear anywhere and will gladly get it from anywhere else but the nba store as they are absolulty stupid beyond belief. So after a month of getting played by them being told sooooooo many different things other then the truth they decided it was better to refund me my money then deal with the facts which is they $#*!ed up harddddddd
I should have read reviews before ordering from these clowns. The raptors won there first nba championship game. I order a hoodie that was in stock that was in small. I get an email saying that there was a delay on my order. I called today they said this item is out of stock. How can an item be out of stock when I ordered it and it was in stock? It makes no sense! Got a refund. Never order from these idiots! They don't know There own stock!
Finally after 24 years I got to see my team the Raptors win the nba championship! To celebrate I ordered a championship shirt right away off the nba store... One month later they still haven't even shipped it. Not only that, but they've lied multiple times with the shipping date. All I keep getting is apologies and excuses. I order stuff from Amazon and Ebay and it's never a problem. Never had to wait more than a week. I know the shirt is in demand, but this is too much. They should be embarrassed the way they do business. Never order anything from them. Just look at their online ratings. Speaks for itself.
I ended up buying the same items from realsports.ca and the shipment arrived. Realsports did have a disclaimer stating that due to the high volume of orders the shipment would take approx 14 days... which it did. NBAstore.ca have changed my shipment date 3 times already. DO NOT ORDER FROM NBAstore.ca There are other nba licensed sites that will be much faster.
Cristin with Fanatics and NBA has provided excellent customer service to help me when i received the wrong order. She was able to get a new order processed and sent out the same day.
Will definitely work with her again!
Just like many sites on here, I ordered over $650 (11 items) worth of Toronto Raptors Championship merchandise to avoid the huge lines at all the stores the day after their win.
The merchandise on the store said it wouldn't ship later than June 22,2019. Which was understandable. Not only did none of the merchandise ship before that date, the earliest item was shipped on June 26. Then on July 1 I receive an email that some of my items won't ship until July 30. That's where I demanded my refund for anything they hadn't sent. They sent a refund of $350 for 5 items even though there were still 4 items outstanding that I did not have a tracking number for. To this date, I have only 2 tracking numbers for 2 items of the 11 I originally ordered. Not to mention when they sent a reply to my inquiry about demanding a refund they told me they were refunding me for the following items: "Insert Item Description here". That is what they literally sent. So I had to send a follow up email to ask them if they could send a competent email so that I didn't have to figure out what they are refunding me for and what items not to expect in the mail.
Their website for your account history is negligible. Once they process your order there is no history of your order. You must go back to your email that you receive confirming the order. Any links to see your tracking will ask you to log into the website again, even if you are logged in already and then it just takes you to the home page because there is no information.
I ordered 3 items to Toronto following the NBA finals, 2 shirts, and a hat. The hat shipped about 6 days following my order, a reasonable time given the influx of orders. To this day, nearly 2 weeks after my order, the shirts have yet to ship. I contacted the NBA store customer service via email and they said they updated my shipping address and that the items should ship by today, the 26th. Their god-awful delivery company Landmark/Sprintstar attempted delivery ONE time to my apartment, wasn't able to gain access, and instead of trying to attempt delivery multiple times across multiple days or deliver the item to a local post office (which literally EVERY other service I use does), they decide to immediately return to sender (NBA store). I would never have found this out if I hadn't called their support line. My shirts have yet to ship and if the delivery isn't able to be made again they'll likely just immediately return to sender. Absolutely ridiculous.
I ordered a customized jersey and 1 minute later I realized I ordered a wrong size. I called the customer service 3 times and everytime got stuck on the line over 10 minutes and nobody picked up the phone. I called when they had bank holidays (day after my order) and twice the day after - morning and afternoon.
In addition I wrote them 2 mails (first) less then 10 minutes straight after the order (sunday).
Then I managed to reach customer service line under different number which was not able to give me any information about orders starting with digit 1. Only orders starting with 9. I sent them 2 mails with my order details as well and they promissed me to reach the correct department and solve this (still the first day after your bank holiday).
Few days later they wrote me that my jersey (the incorrect one) was successfully sent to my address.
When I described them (again) my situation they told me it is my fault and they wont pay me my money back. I strongly do not recommend.
My husband has been wanting a custom jersey for years, finally bought one and after two wears the letters fell off. When I emailed customer service about the issue they said we are sorry you are dissatisfied but it looks like you ordered over 90 days ago so there is nothing we can do. We paid over $40 per wear. Poor customer service and poor product. If I could give zero stars I would.
If you order from them and it is the wrong size/poor quality etc they will charge you $9.99. Never again will I order from them.
The cost of the products do not reflect the quality. I am very unhappy with my purchases and customer service won't do anything about it because it's passed the "90 day return policy". I bought the T-shirt to wear on special occasions and after the first time I washed it, the print just flaked off. All I asked for is to return it for store credit so I could get a different item. They refused! I am very upset to say the least.
Ordered a NBA replica jersey, and that is what I got, correct size, player. I must have been lucky, considering the low rating from SiteJabber.
My order was a few days late but it came and i'm pretty happy with quallity of the product. Overall good shopping experience
My son purchased me a sweater for Christmas in November. It didnt arrive until 2 days before xmas. When my husband called asking where it was he was told the sweater was out of stock even tho it didnt say so online. When it arrived the black sweater was very faded like it had been washed before. It was also extremely small. We returned it but because we are in Canada they would not send us a return label and we had to pay to return it ($14). A couple weeks after returning it we still did not get a refund we called and they said they would refund it but it will take 7 business days until we get the refund back.
Very disappointed in the site. I ordered shirt for my daughter on October 28th for Christmas and NEVER received the order. I emailed several times before Christmas and was promised delivery by Dec 20. I have since emailed several more times with NO reply. DO NOT order from this company!
Answer: You have the same as me and many other people apparently. I ordered with express delivery, been waiting 8 days now and still not a single update. It's as if they took my money and have no intention of delivering anything.
