I've recently been diagnosed with celiac disease so going food shopping was going to be a whole new experience for me. I was overwhelmed thinking I'd be there for hours reading labels. I never noticed before (because I had no reason to) but most products offer a gluten free option. I felt so much better about the lifestyle change after going shopping today. The gluten free tabs made my shopping experience so much easier. Thank you!
Provided me with a wrong size of product (ordered a body shaper which is so tight, seems like the size of a teenager) and clearly mentioned in their message a 7 day return period with full refund. After I asked for return there is no response from their side. Called the assistant multiple times, not receiving my calls or replying to my messages. This has been the worst service I received till date from any online shopping site. This is literally cheating the customers.
2 pickup orders this week... Newburgh NY... the first one gave me grapes that were ready for the trash, and forgot half of my deli order. I called and received a refund. Fine, but inconvenient. Yesterday, I bought Sabra hummus, and there were stickers on it, MANAGER'S SPECIAL, and the expiration date was in 2 days. I would never pick that for a customer order. That kind of sale should be up to the customer, not thrown at them. I am thoroughly disgusted and have deleted the app. Will not shop there again.
I have a stop and shop online account. It was great prior to the pandemic. Since then, unfortunately, the app freezes, is slow and consistently does not accept any gift cards. I tried calling and was on hold for over 45 minutes on 2 see separate calls to resolve the problem, but gave up and am without a resolution. I will cancel my account and wish you week with yours.
Stop and shop is price hiking at a time when food is already at a ridiculous price there meat selection is the worst never have enough help to satisfy the customers self checkout machines are very bad now they charge you for paper bags that rip everytime you transport the groceries will never go back market basket is your best bet
I went to shopping today and wanted to redeem a Butterball gift check given to my family from my husband's employer. I have been redeeming this gift check for over 10 years and haven't had an issue until I ran into the Manger on Duty (Raj) at 1415 Providence Highway, Norwood, MA. Raj did not give a thought to denying the return of my change when the order was slightly less than the value of the check. {Food cost $26.00 – check $30.00; change $4.00} Raj said to the cashier only redeem the check for $30 and give no change. That has NOT been the case in the past and I tried to explain that the check would be honored for the full $30 but Raj would not listen for 1 second and abruptly said No! His response was extremely rude, without customer support, and he showed no evidence of professionalism. Customer service is not important to Raj and I would suggest if you go to this store make sure you buy your food with cash or credit and get out without discussion. Raj is not customer friendly.
My complaint is regarding Stop and Shop markets. First I use my Stop and Shop card when I shop that should always get me the best price on everything automatically. Why do we have to go to the site and clip coupons? What is the point of using the Stop and Shop card? Second the constant moving around of products drives me crazy. Having to search almost every time I shop is just frustrating. Contrary to your research it doesn't make me buy more. Third Stop and Shop prices are not very competitive. Lastly the reward points, if you consider the gas price after using you reward points the savings are minimal at best. I guess I'm going to have to deal with the crowds at Market Basket. I will miss the friendly people who work at the Somerset store.
I have been shopping at Stop & Shop for over 30 years. The steaks used to be absolutely melt in your mouth beautiful tender. Now they are tough chewy sliced too thin in a word awful! The CEOs of this company have decided they're going to give us $#*! meat. They think we can't tell the difference! You are underestimating us Give us good mea! If the price is higher people will pay it if it's the good quality that you used to always give your customers. I think you as a conglomerate have become selfish. You are underestimating your customers giving them crap. Give us the quality that we used to get under better leadership you should be ashamed of yourselves for underestimating us and throwing us under the bus shame on you with your big houses your money. Make this store a good store again stop giving us garbage!
Stop And Shop prices are not competitive with other local stores, but we enjoy the friendly staff and the overall layout and appearance of the store, so we shop there. However, these digital coupons are just wrong. By the way, I am in my 70s and I am tech savvy, and still working so my time is precious; to spend it having to go through each coupon, (should be a clip all choice) is extremely time consuming. Further, you can't do it the same day you're going to shop because they don't activate right away, so this eliminates being able to stop at the spur of the moment or for some needed last minute items.
A loyalty card should be all that is required for the discount.
As everyone knows, grocery prices have risen substantially recently, and therefore we will regretfully have to give up shopping at Stop and Shop in favor of a more competitively priced store before any digital coupons.

I ordered some flowers as a gift for a friend and was pleased with the communication with the delivery driver throughout the process. Thank you to Brian for updating me on package delivery time and to Kevin for staying dedicated to the delivery, even though it was an hour past. It was great customer service & made at least 2 people happy.
The reason why I didn't give all 5 stars didn't have to do with the delivery driver or customer service rep themselves.
One of the items was out of stock. I believed through the website, before placing the order, that the Floral bouquet would get replaced by a similar bouquet. I'm certain a customer call will be able to help figure out and send one out or offer a credit.
I used to do most of my shopping with stop and shop. Missing deliveries, double billed, worst service. I used to also go to their stores for hard to find items not on website but now I have spend much less and go elsewhere. Such a stressful situation with this company. They are losing a lot of business from me as I can't tolerate repetitive incompetence. They don't care about their customers.
Nice selection of foods, clean stores when you visit. Prices are a little higher than most. Sales are not bad but others do better. Meats are great, bakery needs big improvements. Employees are fairly nice but with all stores you get some rude ones. Dealing with many customers I can see why frustration is a deal lol.
Here's what you are going to find when you access Stop and Shop's Peapod delivery service:
1. They are constantly out of inventory for some of their most desirable products.
2,. I placed a large order with them for last week. The food that got delivered was soaked, having obviously been left outside in the major rainstorms we had the other day. Stop and Shop has offered $18.67 to replace the large amount of food that they ruined by doing this.
3. You should know that if you go to amazon.com you can order from Whole Foods: They don't have the profound inventory problems that Stop and Shop has, and they won't deliver ruined groceries.
In other words, if you order with Stop and Shop you're taking a big chance with your money,. I'm not making that mistake again, and I suggest that you don't, either
I do occasionally shop at Stop & Shop for sale items, however their digital coupons are a real pain. Shop Rite has a self service kiosk to load digital coupons onto your card. Stop & Shop does not, and their website is so cumbersome that I cannot get the digital coupons to load. I contacted corporate about the issue and the response was that they don't provide kiosks, customer service in the store is not able to help me, and they are sorry that i am experiencing difficulty with their web site. Without coupons their regular prices are much higher than competitors.
Christopher in Seafood, in the Farmingville location, taught my children all about lobsters, even took one out for them to see close-up! Went above and beyond for my kids! Thank you! We love Stop and Shop!
I was screamed at by an employee when I asked for help at self checkout. The management of the store said the situation would be addressed but the employee is still there. I guess it's ok with Stop and Shop to have their employees yell at customers in a very threatening manner. The best thing people can do is never shop there
I and my family shop at Stop and Shop every week. My loyalty cards wore out some time ago. We also lost one of them. I called their customer service number three different times. I spoke with their customer service team three different times. They each promised me replacement cards, three different times. I received nothing! I stopped at the customer service counter inside of the store and made the same request. Nothing. Now this may not seem like a big deal to some, but the gas savings at Shell are pretty significant. Some as much as a dollar off per gallon of gas. This adds up over the course of a year! This is the worst customer service I have ever seen. Not even an email telling me to get lost. Went to pick uo a few items middle of the day, one cashier, many self check outs, waited at cashier for 20 minutes, 4 people in line. Not a friendly face in the store, except cashier whom seemed frustrated no manager found

Answer: I can't answer this, but I can affirm it. Stop and Shop is the worst (by far) online delivery service you can use. They delivered a high-price grocery order to me, with a lot of the groceries clearly left outside in a strong rainstorm--which ruined lots of stuff. The company offered an $18,67 credit to make up for this, far less than the value of what they ruined,. I'm shifting to Whole Foods delivery through Amazon,. Note that they're *cheaper* than Stop and Shop. They don't have the profound inventory problems that Stop and Shop can't seem to figure out, and they don't leave your order sitting outside in the elements.
