I have purchased all FIVE of my HP Laptops from Staples. I will not purchase them anywhere else. Staff is educated on computers and gives great advice.
Today I went to STORE #1967
Staples Connect Los Angeles, CA and it was a remarkable experience. I had not been there in many years because I remember the service being abominable and I had vowed to never go back. A colleague sent me there today because we needed various things printed, mounted and finished very quickly. I was nervous about going there and wasting a lot of time and not getting what I needed. Boy, have things changed! First off, the place was really beautiful and laid out well. Everything was very clear, easy to locate and visually attractive. But the best part was the customer service. My first contact was with a young woman, Denise, who went above and beyond to help me and make sure that I got exactly what I needed, as quickly as possible for a very reasonable price. She helped me with the printer and then went over all my options very patiently. When I went back to pick up my order, I needed additional items printed and I worked with a second young man who, again, went beyond the expected to make sure I was happy - he actually did everything I wanted on the spot so I was able to leave with everything I needed and didn't have to return in the morning. Honestly, I was shocked by how good an experience I had which is why I had to find a way to communicate that to management - which I assume is new. Thank you! Best,

WON'T BUY ANOTHER PRINTER HERE AND/OR THE WARRANTY COMPANY ASSURANCE I PAID FOR IS NOT REPUTABLE, PUT ME THROUGH HOOPS FOR DAYS WITH NO GOOD OUTCOME. PRINTER IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. NEXT TIME I'LL BUY ONE ELSEWHERE.
I ordered a desk chair online, and it came the next day. Since I've ordered printers, ink, office supplies, and the arrive in perfect condition, and Really fast. Very pleased with Staples site.
I love Staples stores. The prices are incredible and the selection is great. However, every experience ordering delivery from Staples.com has been a disaster, and my business will never use them again. 1 - We ordered a box of non contact thermometers. They never arrived. After a month we had to re order them.
2 - The second order was left outside our fence during non business hours. 3 - The order of cleaning supplies was thrown over our fence during non business hours, and damaged the supplies. We had to reorder. 4 - The reorder was also damaged and brought during non business hours.
Each time, we made clear what our business hours are, and to deliver them only to office staff directly during business hours. Each time they claimed to put this in the notes for delivery. Each time they failed this basic business delivery instruction, and twice this resulted in damaging the order.
I love the stores. But goodbye forever to delivery from Staples.com. We will use the more expensive Office Depot for future deliveries - less expense in time and damaged product that way.
One receives exactly what one orders! Excellent products! I order from this company on line frequently and have never been disappointed. Great products.
Whatever you need for your home office or any type of office, they products here are authentic. Don't waste your money on fake sites saying they can help you save money. Stables has the best deal.
I ordered some shipping boxes and packing tape on Monday October 28.2019 and their carrier, Prestige, which was an unmarked rusty van, delivered them Wednesday October 30... cardboard boxes delivered in the rain, unprotected, and at least 3 or 4 of those boxes in the bundle were already somehow mechanically destroyed... I have no idea what happened but I refused delivery. I called Staples and they agreed to reship on Thursday October 31... but when 6pm arrived and my order didn't, I looked up my order. The shipper lied and said I refused the Oct 31 order! Chat reordered and said they go out ASAP... but the email confirmation said Monday November 4th. I just told Staples chat to cancel the entire order but I'm not sure I got through to the guy so I responded to the confirmation with a cancel order as well... and included an explanation. I'm done with Staples and no $10 courtesy coupon is going to change my mind. Perhaps they shouldn't rely on slugs driving beat-up child molesting type vans to make their deliveries. Never again.
Staples is the worst shop I have ever been to. I bought 3 VISA gift cards from their store and tried to claim the rebate. They declined it because they said the 3 VISA gift cards must be bought at one time and appears on one receipt. While this rule is not in the terms & conditions. The originals ad only says "Get a $20 Visa (R) Prepaid Card on a Purchase of $300 or more of Visa Gift Cards (SKUs *******, *******,*******,*******,*******,*******) at Staples Stores ONLY". It doesn't mention the rule at all. So I called the customer support one, they declined my request. I wrote to their support email. Some of their representative tried to fix it for me. But it seems like their customer support doesn't get along with the other team members. Their customer support accepted my request while during the rebate validation they still reject me. I think they may be doing that on purpose. Telling me the problem is solved so the customer support can close the case. But they don't really follow and don't even try to solve it. I felt like I am talking to a looping tape.
Very disappointing. Combined with several other previous terrible shopping experience at Staples, I swear I won't visit Staples any more. I suggest everyone don't go there as well, unless you feel boring and have life to waste. They just care about your money coming to their pocket. They don't care whether you are happy with their product or if you have problem with their rebate. Or maybe they just assume only poor people want their rebate. They can reject the rebate so people value their time won't bother complaining with them back and forth.
Very nice intelligent people in this dept. In this tough time of covid they cant be nicer and more helpful. Have written about Jenna and want to say Daniel is great too! Keep up great work!
Do NOT use the Staples online design tool if you want your products quickly! I used it to design a flyer I needed right away, only to find that it is NOT POSSIBLE to go to the store and print out something designed on the staples website (without waiting 1 to 3 days). On the plus side, the staff was very polite as they were telling me they couldn't help me.
I (an American citizen) ordered a scale online from Staples.com and received an email confirmation of my order. Staples usually takes a long time to ship but it is free so I never complain about that. But after quite a few days I start to wonder where my scale is. I log into my account and see that the order was cancelled. I was never informed of this cancellation - I even checked my spam folder - it was just cancelled. So I Chat Live to find out why and I'm told I need to call their 1800 number. I do and after a few transfers I finally get someone that tells me I used an international credit card to order and they only accept American credit cards. WHAT?! 1. That is ridiculous, why would you only accept American credit cards? 2. It was a Visa card, not exactly foreign. 3. It is technically an "American" credit card as it was issued in Puerto Rico which is a territory of the United States. My husband, (also an American citizen as are all Puerto Ricans), opened the Visa account in Puerto Rico. Why would Staples insist on such a discriminatory policy? Perhaps in the future I will have to verify my citizenship in order to purchase tape and cardboard boxes online. Shame on them.
I was disappointed that staples is no longer giving teachers a discount for printed materials for their classes. Thank you, Staples for supporting education during these times
Over the past several years, I have been a proponent of ink cartridge recycling. However, at Staples, I have never been able to use the credit from returned cartridges (probably over 30 cartridges), due to Staples giving one excuse or another, due to the credit expiry. Either I was told that I couldn't use the credit on the same day that I recycled the cartridges, or the credit expired at the end of the month that I turned them in and was never notified when the credit was available for use, or that I hadn't spent enough money in the 180 days prior to recycling to be eligible for the credit. What a worthless program at STAPLES. Recycle them somewhere else.

I always get great customer service above and beyond except at Christmas when the store manager himself misinformed me about an advertised Laptop they had for $199. I was ready to pay for it on the spot but he informed me it was available online. Go home, order it, pay that price and it would be sent to the store. Not the case as when I went online I found it to clearly state this item was only available in stores. He should have told me the truth instead of blowing me off. I buy all my ink and paper and I bought a Kindle Fire for my daughter for Christmas. Luckely in January they had an Asus on sale and it was the last one and I got it for a fair price, $199. So I was happy but still would have rather had my Christmas present under my tree. I still shop with them. I have a card and when I can remember I print my coupons out but have missed well over $20 in saving as I thought the saving went onto the card because that was what I was told by the clerk that sold me on getting the card. Not the case. You have to make sure you check your email otherwise the coupons could expire by the time you see them which is what happened when I finally found the right person to tell me why my discounts were not showing up on my card. I had at least 9 cartridge turn ins and got nothing for that.
Good for them! Thy didn't trow in the towel when things were getting bad, They joined in on the fun! They have very respectable prices and stock and are now contenders! Check them out
I bought an item from Staples.com and had to return it. UNLIKE THE OTHER WEBSITES I HAVE USED, Staples does not print its own return label. Rather, you have to WAIT 24 HOURS to receive an email from UPS in order to return the item.

Brought my recently purchased computer to the repair section in Sarnia Staples because it wasn't responding. Staff did not discuss whether I required a backup for the data that was on the computer. When I went to pick up the laptop discovered that it had been wiped clean. A few weeks prior to this my "tech guy" had been in and had with great difficulty transferred data from my old computer to this new one and now everything was gone! After some discussion there was a recognition that the mistake had been on their end, so a data recovery was done. However only pictures, now no longer labeled were retrieved as well as documents. But soft ware that was on my previous laptop and downloads that had been installed were all missing.The computer in its current state has become a totally foreign entity to me and without having my "tech guy" come in again I will not know where to begin with it.In previous years I have brought my laptop to small local dealers and have never experienced this disregard for my private property. There was no apology, an implication that I as a customer was
Irresponsible and that I should be grateful for the expensive data recovery that they were forced to perform. I received a gratis portable storage unit with my unreadable files(had Microsoft Word on my old laptop, now have nothing)and totally messed up photos from many years. Needless to say I will never darken the doors of a Staples store again. Another example of the way one is treated by the wonderful big box stores.
