I was very happy to discover Stackry, I wanted to order a handheld gaming device that do not ship to the UK, so I decided to give then a try. I was surprised at how cheap it was, you only seem to pay for them posting it to you, I did not recieve any other charge, no idea how they make money, but it's a great service. I received my package undamaged (apart from the box) but that was my fault for not requesting extra packing! I would definitely use them again.

Our carriers charge us off of dimensional weight or actual weight, whichever of the two is higher. We explain it a bit here on our website: https://www.stackry.com/en/dimensional-weight. Dimensional weight is the volumetric standard that is used in international shipping, so if your box was large it was charging you off of dimensional weight, not the actual weight. Compared to the rest of the industry our pricing is very competitive, especially since we have no membership fees, no receiving fees, 0% US sales tax, and free storage on every one of your package for 45 days. Hi Suhad! I am sorry that you were not satisfied with our pricing on this shipment. I took a look and can see that it was a dangerous goods shipment, which unfortunately, due to international regulations, requires us to use a certain box size. Our $12.50 dangerous goods fee covers labor and materials, and part of the dangerous goods charge our carriers charge us. Your comment about adding weight to the shipment is really referring to the fact that the shipment was billed on its dimensional weight (3lbs), as opposed to its scale weight (1lbs). Dimensional weight is the volumetric standard for international shipments, and when it exceeds scale weight, the shipping price is calculated using the dimensional weight. This is standard for international shipments. We do believe our prices to be very competitive but keep striving to bring costs down for our customers.
