Amazing music selection. Old underground punk, vintage metal, you name it they have it. Love the ability to search by music type, artist, album, etc. The weekly Discover list has introduced me to many great artist I may have never heard.
The family plan is an amazing value. I don't have to share the site with kids and their music choice does not influence my weekly discover list.
The only way for a music fan to listen to music. Whatever type, wherever they go.
This is the best music streaming app I have come across, when using the premium service. You can select the individual song that you want, and it will make recommendations from there. You can download any music you want to be played offline. It has all the features of other music streaming services, but the added feature of selecting individual songs, and saving them, puts it at the top of the list. When paying during "promotion" periods, it's definitely worth the cost of $9.99/3 months. I do, however, feel that the regular price of $9.99/month is a bit excessive, but the loss of all the features the premium subscription offers makes it hard to walk away from.
None of other music providers compare to Spotify. It is well-run, up to date, and has the greatest variety of options and features. Spotify is constantly suggesting new music for me to listen to, most of which I thoroughly enjoy because it suggests music based on what you frequently listen to. The music selection Spotify offers is massive and it is well organized. Plus, it's easy to look up bios and facts about your favorite artists, or even individual songs. The service absolutely worth the price and I am going to stay their client forever
Free version: awesome and almost everyone I know has it and has never had a complaint. I think it's better than pandora.
Premium version: For about $10 & change you can get unlimited streaming, no ads, and you save your playlists for offline play. I love the offline playlist option because whenever I go on vacation to a third world country, I always have my music available on my phone or ipod or ipad as long as I save it offline.
The only issues I've had are when they kind of raised the price from $9.99/month to $10.50/month because of some new law. Their apps are pretty good and offer a "private session" option which is something I haven't used yet.
I cancel my service 4 months ago, they have continued to charge me since. I have tried to deal with them and they keep saying they are not charging me. I sent them proof and still nothing. I turned them into my credit card Bo for fraud. They do not offer a phone service, it's all done my messages and Ai!
Do not download this app unless you feel like getting activated and pissed off the app takes up to much memory and every time it's time to make your payment they shut off your service after being a customer for years to much aggravation I personally feel that they can stick their service wear the sun dont shine.
Apps suck, customer service sucks, Dan Ek sucks, everything sucks about Spotify! You don't leave a frustrated user hanging when it comes to issues like this. As much as I don't like Trustpilot, at least the rating for Spotify was terrible.
Customer service sucks... down load music to have when out of service, can't do it won't play without wifi... I pay each month to listen to my music I download Playlist, but it's worthless with out wifi it won't play it... try to get issues fixed is worthless chatted with 6 different agents over 1 thing just keep getting dropped or got put to a new agent still today issue is not fixed... I highly recommend staying the f@#$ away from this piece of $#*! servic... I would give it a -0 score if it would lete
If you pay for a subscription in advance, you cannot upgrade without double paying. Total scam. I wanted to upgrade to the Duo plan option and was told I would have to terminate my current plan (without credit) and then pay the full price of the new plan.
There should be options to upgrade plans and just pay the difference between them. This is a total scam.
Spotify is a great podcast for those who want to listen to music on the go. For about $10 USD a month you can get the Spotify premium subscription. This subscription allows you to download songs, so you can listen to music in places where there's no service (airplane, rural area, sometimes office/school). Would recommend!
Nice source of music and not just music. I can even listen to various podcasts with Spotify. Since Joe Rogan came here it has become more than just a music streaming platform for me.
Spotify is a quite good service. It has lots of tunes and offers premium plans with increased music quality and the ability to listen to your desired songs offline. However, there are some downsides as well. If you listen to spotify through their free mobile app, you get tons of ads and basically songs are played in a shuffle. That is definitely not a good practice. However, free pc app is okay. There's also another thing about not paying the artists enough. Even though I really enjoy spotify, there's a lot of room for improvement.
No issues, but in a way I was somehow forced to purchase a Premium account. Too many bloody ads! But my 4 stars are due to the great variety of artists, songs, and list recommendations out there! Besides the quality of their songs are really great.
Spotify is fine when it works. In September (a month and a half ago) it gave me a blank screen except for the menu at the top. When I tried to click on my library or search the screen remained blank. I went on line to find no number to call and this problem is not listed in the array of "articles" provided for support help. I sent several messages via the "contact us" which was extremely cumbersome. I just canceled my account and it says they can't actually cancel it for another month probably to charge me the additional 9.99 even though my account has not worked since September. Poor customer support and the lack of ability to talk with anyone is unheard of today. The phone number on the visa bill was to a game show contest. STAY AWAY It's a scam
The single greatest thing ever for my music loving ways. Music on demand? Any song I want (except a few artists... like where is Bob Seger on there?). I love it. I never buy itunes any more. $9.99 a month for mobile access = yes please. Get these people a medal STAT.
I love Spotify so much! I've been a loyal listener for about 4 years now, and they still find ways to improve my listening experience. If you haven't listened to the curated playlists that Spotify makes for you, I definitely recommend it. I've found so many new artists from just browsing Spotify.
Please for the love of god do not signup with them, they will rip you off, after a year I found out that they've been charging 2 a month, to most people they charge without a subscription, just google what I'm telling you and you will find out. This company was created supposedly to help people have a fair and healthy platform to listen to music but now greediness got into them and are doing the same thing as the other company. Just google Spotify double charging people and you will see.
I started listening to Spotify. The music is the only reason I still try to listen. I contacted them about watching the videos to get a half hour free of commercials. I was only getting about 10 minutes! Now they not only don't offer it to me anymore, they're now playing 4 and 5 commercials at a time! I was considering getting the premium. Now I'm looking for a new music app!
This is truly the bomb! My life has changed, and I'm listening to it as I type this. I feel guilty that I listen to songs for free and only hope they pay the artists. Spotify has a massive collection of music, and though their algorithm is not sophisticated as Pandora, they more than make up for it in their flexibility of the platform.
I am a subscriber of Spotify and I could proudly state that this app is worth it. By using it, I was quickly updated of the recently released songs by various singers and artists. Some of it aren't even accessible on youtube and other sites so it really is a great advantage for Spotify subscribers. Of course it does not only contain modern music, it also has popular songs from the past so if you missed listening to the songs of The Beatles for example, just type it in there and in an instant you'll quickly hear what you wish for!
Answer: I would try to just use another acunt, but if that does not work then idk how to help
Answer: Do you think I could get you to advertise mine? It was recorded at Sony Records in Nashville, TN.
Spotify has a rating of 2.3 stars from 242 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Spotify most frequently mention customer service, credit card and family plan. Spotify ranks 9th among Music Discovery sites.
