I ordered a deer stand from this company via Amazon, and received it in a decent time. Upon opening the container, I quickly became aware that none of the hardware (nuts, bolts, washers, screws, ratchet straps, etc.) and the safety harness were left out of the shipment. I quickly contacted the company to try to fix this situation. I was told that the missing items will be shipped in 4-7 days. Since then, I have contacted the company 4 more times in the past 2 and a half weeks and have been told the exact same thing, the missing items will be sent in 4-7 days. Today I am returning the stand, and taking my business elsewhere. The company advertises on it's site that they promise the highest level in customer satisfaction, but my experience with them has been anything but satisfying. I will NEVER order from this company again.

I've ordered many times from SG. Typically, prices can be pretty good, but shipping times are extremely slow (and expensive), communication is poor, and "free" gift cards/coupons have short expiration dates, and lots of restrictions. My experience with their customer service department via phone and email has been terrible. Prices are good, but be careful with restrictions and timing/cost of delivery... and don't expect any communication about delivery times or delays.

So SG sells a lot of cheap jack outdoor stuff, and have a bad rep for lousy service and censoring reviews. DO NOT buy big ticket items from them! Or ammo, since its non returnable. But, they have a lot of good European military surplus, cheap. Great deals can be had if you know what to look for and what to avoid, since there is a lot of cheap Chinese stuff mixed in with the actual military surplus. The real stuff will have the name of a country ("Swiss Army Work overalls" etc). A lot of this stuff is well made and rugged, and as long as its not tactical looking or camo its cheap, cheap, cheap. Swedish CD surplus shirts, 4 for $8, Swiss made work pants 5 for $15, etc. Stick to the real surplus!

I have never been able to use a discount code sent to me from sportsmansguide.com. They don't tell you that the code can't be used with gun purchases, they just say "use this code for your next purchase over a certain amount". And when I make a purchase over the "certain amount", I'm not able to use the discount code. Other than that, I probably would have given them 5 stars.

I love this website! I have been ordering from Sportsmans Guide for several years now and always had good service. As a "clearance warehouse" type site, it is logical that a person would see some lower quality items, but in general I am impressed. I have bought clothing, sleeping bags, bedding, auto accessories, etc. I'm sorry Ashley S. Had such a bad experience... everyone I know has had high praise for this site. And the Club deals are amazing!

If you buy any of that guide gear crap beware! They say lifetime warranty on it but after 2 years and it goes to crap like my boots did they will not refund you unless you have saved that original invoice. The e-mail invoice with the order number will not work with these cheating a#s h*L@s!

You do need to have the original invoice that was included with the shipment of the purged order(s) when wanting to make a return. The original invoice will need to be sent with the return on purged orders. The return on purged orders is unable to be accepted without the original invoice that was included with the shipment(s).

I've ordered 3 times. Two were good experiences, but this last time has been a nightmare and it was their warehouse error --twice for the same item -- they DID NOT ensure that the same mistake did not happen again. It ruined my sleep during a scouting trip, as I had no sleeping pad as a result. They did not make it right, and even suggested that I go to grocery stores to see if I could find a box that their WRONG product would fit into so I could return it. Bought a blind for hunting set it up and within a day it was broke. Contacted sportsman guide. All they would say and to ship it back and they would see what they could do. Terrible service

Stay away from this company! Read there reviews they suck. From their customer service to their information sharing polices. Further they say they will give you a discount if you pay for their membership then the tack on hefty "shipping and handling" fees. Really? How much shipping and handling is there in drop shipping my my order! Last but not least within days of ordering you inbox will blow up with tons of junk mail that the "shared" with some third party based on your purchasing history. Bullcrap, ever since I order something from them I have recieved emails for drugs, supplements, flashlights... the list goes on; give me a break I ordered some long johns and a tree stand winch! Please do get them mixed up with a reputable company like sportsman guide.com, their address is only one letter different.

Used the store discount free shipping coupon using their in store buyers club 4-pay plan only to be charged later on my creditcard. When I tried to get my money back I was spoken to like a child. Credit department employee treated me like I was taking her money. When I asked to speak to someone else they put me on hold for 15 minutes hoping I'd go away.
Thank goodness for Creditcard protection their legal department got my money back.

You will never get your gift card!it's a scam to get you to open a cc! Nobody speaks good English at the cc company and they hang up on you! I'm done with sportsman's guide!
