SG refused to honor the price I paid for a boat seat thru Amazon, A SG boat seat. Went to Amazon to buy two more it was discontinued, so I went directly to SG
Bought a pair of boots from these idiots on Amazon, they canceled my order when I asked why they hadn't shipped the boots out yet. AFTER, yes AFTER they canceled my order, they took the money for the boots from my account and now I'm being told by Amazon I have to wait 3 days before there's any chance to get my money back! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS SCAM COMPANY! If I had seen all the negative reviews beforehand I wouldn't have made the purchase but figured I'd be ok since I was going through Amazon, guess not
I work for Cabelas, their prices are higher than most large outdoor stores, but on most items they are mostly better than Sportsman Guide. Under Armor hoodie 75.00 really
I ordered a product overnight and it shipped that same day which is great. On the website it never said that this product couldn't be shipped overnight, so I look later that night and it was shipped FedEx smart post and was scheduled to arrive 5 business days later, keep in mind I live within 1.5 hours from their building. It would have been 1 day ground, but I overnighted so that it had priority. I called and talked to their customer service and got a refund on the shipping(they would have kept my money for the overnight had I not pursued it). I called back to see if I could order another product and pay for Saturday delivery and the customer service rep was defensive and condescending. She kept passing the buck onto FEDEX. I told her she is going to need learn a lot about customer service relations if she is going to be effective in this industry. She immediately went on to defend her lack of tact. The product mishap was annoying, but forgivable, but what isn't forgivable was how it was handled by Joyce in customer service.
I ordered a customized frame for a family friend for Christmas. The website said on the ordering page that if the order was placed by December 13th that the item would be recieved by Christmas...
I contacted them on January 3rd because the frame still hadn't arrived. Several days later a representative called me and said that the manufacturer had the item on backorder and that it would be shipped on January 15th.
I still don't have the frame at this point, they were completely unapoligetic, and, of course, it has already been paid for.
I would have bought the frame from a different website if I knew this was going to happen!
Garbage I ordered a pair of boots two weeks ago said will be. Ship in 7days still have not received them yet site $#*!ing blows never ordering from this place again better off saving your $#*! legit
Awful customer service! I do mean AWFUL! I bought an EEA B6P pistol from them for a really low price. I picked the pistol up from my FFL dealer and on the way home I noticed I couldn't get the magazine to drop out of the well. I literally had to hold the magazine release button down while yanking on the bottom of the magazine, and it scrubs like crazy coming out and going back in. It is OBVIOUSLY a defective pistol. I call SG and they say, oh since you've already signed for it there's nothing we can do. Nice. So I call EAA and they promise a call-back by the end of the day. Did I get a call-back? Of course not. I was sold a defective product and SG feels they have no obligation to make it right. I bought this pistol for concealed carry but there's no way I would carry it considering that it takes time and effort to pull the magazine out and insert another. I'm sure I can just call time-out and the bad guy will patiently wait while I struggle with changing mags.
In short, Sportsman's Guide SUCKS.
We purchased a rifle from The Sportsmans Guide on 12/8/15. We were told by more than (1) TSG employee that the item would arrive by the time we needed it to, (12/18/15). As we continued to follow up it became clear that wasn't going to happen. In fact, not one TSG employee we've communicated with through today, (12/20) can tell us exactly what the status of the rifle is – the website still says "In process". We then asked to cancel the order on, either the 10th, or 11th of December. We continued to follow-up inquiring about the cancellation and refund status. At one point a TSG employee stated that the order was in process of cancelling and that we should expect a refund within a few business days. We called back and have since been told, they are not sure the order can be cancelled because the order might have shipped – again, no one from TSG, or their supplier, (Armalite) can confirm, or deny this. Today I was told our only option was to refuse delivery and we would be charged a 15% restocking fee, (That's $300!). I've repeatedly asked for a Supervisor, or Manager and have been denied the opportunity to speak to one.
Dates of contact via phone: 12/8,12/9,12/10 & 12/11. Dates of contact via email: 12/13,12/19 & 12/20.
Fantastic selection, easy to deal with, and great customer service! No stress website ordering keeps me coming back.
They messed with the wrong girl. I give reviews on every company. To start, it is now December 22nd and they received my gun on December 13th sending me a return email saying the refund was processed and I STILL DONT HAVE MY MONEY IN MY ACCOUNT. I WILL BE FILING CLAIM WITH MY BANK AS I HAVE BEEN INSTRUCTED TO DO. Also, THEY SENT ME THE WRONG $#*!ING GUN AND LIED TO ME! I ordered a Springfield XDS-S Semi Automatic 9mm, 3.3 barrel 8+1/9+1 rounds and they sent me a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT MODEL (7+1/8+1/) AND TRIED TO TELL ME THIS IS WHAT I ORDERED YET DO THEY KNOW I HAVE A PICTURE OF MY CHECKOUT PAGE! Not to mention, THEY CHARGED ME A 15% RESTOCKING FEE AND A SHIPPING CHARGE THAT NEVER EVEN MADE IT TO MY FFL DEALER TAKING AWAY ABOUT $60 OFF MY TOTAL ORDER! I had called and spoke with about 3 different people and they all told me the same thing that I wouldn't be charged because it never even made its way to the FFL dealer and than by the time I got around to speaking with the supervisor he tries to tell me that "I was told the fees were going to be applied" which is a BOLD FACE LIE AND I ASKED FOR THE PHONE RECORDINGS AND I GUESS THEY DONT RECORD CALLS. These people are LIARS, UNPROFESSIONAL, SCAM ARTISTS, AND RUDE EMPLOYEES! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM OR THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER! SINCERELY ONE $#*!ING ANGRY GIRL.
Over the years, I've made numerous online firearms purchases, and they have always been a straightforward experience, despite the necessary paperwork, licensing, and shipping requirements.
Sportsman's guide COMPLETELY ruined that. In starting a custom rifle build, I decided to purchase a stripped Remington M700 action from them. I made the purchase on Thanksgiving Day, and selected one of their "Preferred" FFL dealers to make the transfer. I made a couple attempts to call this preferred dealer of theirs, but got only voicemail. I assumed this was because of the holiday weekend. Sportsmans Guide shipped the action on Monday (so of course I assumed their FFL preferred dealer relationship was all Kosher). I then received a call saying that the dealer was out of business, and that they were cancelling the order. Normally, this wouldn't be a huge deal, more of an inconvenience... however they are charging me a 15% restocking fee, a $5 firearm fee, and are refusing to refund the withheld CA sales tax (even though they are a MN company).
I called numerous times to try and make the order work. The options I offered were: 1. Issue a full refund, since I had followed their policy in trying to contact one of their "prefered" dealers and they shipped without verification. 2. Allow me to pay the fees (shipping/processing) associated with just shipping it back to the FFL of my choice 3. Issue me a full refund in store credit.
They promised a call back within a business day. I never got it, so I called them back a few days later. Talking to numerous people, they refused to make anything work to make a happy customer. They've definitely lost all future business from me.
Ordered six months ago. Still changing the ship date. Never again.
Always something I'm interested in. Fast shipping and easy transaction.
Answer: NONE OF THEM -- that's why the stock numbers are each listed with what pistol they do fit -- none are listed for the weird Ruger P95 because they are not made to fit that pistol.
