I ordered two pairs of shoes but they cancelled one of them because it was temporarily out of stock (which wasn't specified on their website). If I want to order another one instead, I have to make a new order and pay the shipping again. I contacted the customer service. They told me that I couldn't amend or change an order, which was a bit rich since they amended it, not me! It is the second time I order on sportsdirect and the second time I have problems with them. Never again! They are useless and dishonest.
The main reason to buy the Puma jogger (Product code: *******) was the 2 zipped pockets as it appears on the description and shown on the product images. However, the received product does not have a 2 zipped pocket.
I've contacted the customer service and was advised to return the product, but when I asked about the refund for postage charges, they told It's on me. In the end, they replaced the product for the same without a zip pocket, and I was informed they closed the matter.
Therefore, this product announcement is a scam; they offer a product, deliver a different one, you pay for the return, they return the same wrong product and close the case.

Items get cancelled after placing the order without a way to cancel the whole order. Delivery fee is 8 euros, so that means I will have to pay that again for items that were in stock but then they weren't and were removed. No way to select other products to replace within the same shipment. Goods sometimes damaged. Not ordering again from this company.
Can't track item. Impossible to contact them. Very stressful experience. Thought I was ordering from Australia. Came in from the UK. Now lost in Sydney somewhere and unable to track nor contact the company!
WORST store ever. Do NOT buy from them. They tried to rip me off by sending me a cheaper different model of a jacket that I ordered and when sending pictures of this wrong jacket they said that it looks like they would expect (they must know the difference since they sell both of these different versions on their website and they have a very big price difference). They then tell me that the jacket I am looking for no longer is in stock while I can clearly say that they say it is in stock on their website, so they are trying to rip off other people - You! Before this they sent me an order that was cancelled before it was processed, and they tried to make me pay for the shipping. This are the first times I have ever been delivered the wrong item by any store and I have ordered a lot from other companies and never had a problem. Besides this, they have absolutely useless people working in their real life stores that knows and helps with nothing. I hope that this joke of a company goes down for a new much better one. Come on, London and the UK can do Much better!
Purchased a pair of Merrell Moab 2 GTX Snr00 Beluga shoes and was sent the wrong size in a box labelled with the correct size I ordered, it seems to be part of the same scam that others on here have reported, had to pay a little over seventy dollars AU to return them to the UK and have heard nothing more from them except for vague email promises from their customer service team, which seems like it is automated.
Received refund for the shoes, but can kiss my $71-00 as have been told they will issue an evoucher for the shipping that I can spend in their store.
The E-voucher never cane through, I would not use it anyway so no loss, but what ethics this company has,.
Do some research on them before buying, I wish I had!
The worst! Ordered 10/12, got email to say item despatched 14/12, but to date 23/12 Hermes courier says they haven't got it. Sports Direct tell me Hermes haven't collected it. All I get is automated responses that it will be delivered in 2 days. This was a Christmas present for my son. They still continue to advertise to order for delivery by Christmas. Disgusting, greedy company!
I paid 100% more for a pair of walking poles bought online. When they arrived they had a 50%discount sticker. I bought these during lockdown, when Sports Direct shops were closed, so I couldn't buy them in store.
This is the company that tried to force their workers into stores during the first lockdown, arguing that they were offering an essential service.

Absolutely do not use this site, its appalling!. They took my money produced a tracking number that didn't exist. They use a courier firm xpd that only has premium contact number... 7p a min, who in turn use another 3rd party courier Grand Prix and neither had a clue of what was going on or cared. Sports direct do not answer queries constructively and they have recently cut off their customer helpline. I know this because a member of shop staff told me! Thankfully I was covered with ebay guarentee and was able to retrieve my money. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Ps, not deserving of the 1*
Having bought a pair of tracksuit pants online during lockdown, they were eventually delivered to my local store. On collection, I opened package to realise they were not what I wanted so I went to get a refund. I was told I would not get refunded the 7.04 euro delivery charge and I could only have a credit note. If I wanted to send them back to the UK, I would not be refunded the cost of posting. Then to cap it all, I asked to speak to a manager, and was then given a torrent of abuse by her saying I was being abusive. She agreed that I did not raise my voice or use abusive language, it was my gesture of waving my card towards the till when I asked if she could give me credit note as I had kids waiting in the car. A very very negative experience. I would warn people not to buy online as they will be charged delivery and not given a cash refund, just a credit note. I was unlucky with regards to the manager, she was probably just having a bad day. All the other staff I encountered were more than helpful and polite.
Their shipper is terrible. They use Pitney Bowes. I keep getting different delivery dates and my order never arrived. I emailed Sports Direct and all they say is that is has shipped. Don't order from this company you may not get your order.

Be aware that if you order 20 items and pay nearly €20 for delivery and Sport Direct sends you only 1 item out of 20, the delivery fee will stay the same.
As I thought it wasn't fair and tried to talk with the customer service department, I have heard only the same thing and then I have seen "your ticket has been resolved, please rate your experience" email, while I was waiting for the reply. To clarify, the ticket hasn't been resolved at all. On my reply that the ticket hasn't been resolved and I would like to have a conversation with a manager I had heard the same things I said before (which was "just return the whole order and you will be refunded fully with the delivery change) and then another email about resolved ticket. I asked again to have conversation with a manager and after I had been just simply ignored. Oh well," very nice".
I do work in customer service myself and have a lot of experience in it and I have never experienced anything worse. I have not been treated as a customer they care about.
I have order with Sport Direct 1000 times before and all my orders were always around or more than €300 and I feel the disrespect from their side. Disappointed.
Honestly, I would never imagine my staff talking to customer this way.
Lauren, the member of staff, was so rude and wasn't talking in a prover way it had to be.
I would never ever again use Sport Direct and would recommend everybody to stay away, as if there is anything wrong with your order, you won't be helped, you will be simply ignored!
P.S. - now I have to pay for the postage to send the items back as they don't accept in the store the thing that have been bought online.

Order trainers from Sports Direct on the 7th November, Paid next day delivery as it was for my daughters Birthday, Parcel not received. Used tracking which says parcel at depot 8Th November. Is now the 15th and still no parcel birthday missed disappointed daughter. Emailed Hermes no reply. Emailed Sports Direct no reply. Will not be using them again..

Dreadful service. I ordered trainers size 41 and was sent trainers size 40.5. When I contacted SD customer services I was told that SD round sizes down and 41 and 40.5 both correspond to UK size 7 which is obviously rubbish. The same trainers on the SD website are now being sold with UK size 8 corresponding to EU size 41 so even SD don't know what is going on. SD refuse to accept the error and expect me to pay for the return.
If you order trainers from Sports Direct it is a gamble as to what size they will send you. Stay away.
Answer: Stores in the USA selling hiking boots usually have thick socks for customers to put on before trying boots. If this store does not, it would be wise to wear the socks you plan to use with the boots when trying them on. Caveat emptor
Answer: On the issue of not refunding the purchase price, is that common policy for retailers in the UK? I'm surprised there isn't a government agency for consumer protection that looks into / bans this.
