I would give negative stars if I could. Under spectrum for quite a few years and my dad recently added internet and phone and it was the worst! When there was an issue with the phone spectrum claimed my dad's name wasn't on the account even though it should've been and they didn't have a problem cashing my dad's checks with his name on it or taking money from his account when it came to payments but with an issue they were so rude and hung up when I asked to speak to a supervisor. Just today the problem came up again and as I'm explaining the issue in frustration I believe the rep put me on speaker phone so her coworkers could laugh in the background at my problem. I could hear them thinking it was hilarious that a customer couldn't get phone service. That's what they think of people who pay for their services and keep them employed. The whole company needs to be shut down. There are so many other options out there. Go with any of them and you are almost sure to have a better experience then with spectrum.
Horrible! Sales guy was impossible to work with. Kept giving us the run around for installation - took months, finally showup They installed 6 liines into my medical practice with 6 unknown #s, never ported my old numbers over, so that the service was unusable, then kept billing for service we never used. Then we try to cancel everything and we are on the line for hours getting sent back and forth from rep to rep, getting a complete run around. NOW THEY JUST HUNG UP ON ME. BY FAR THE WORSE SERVICE OF MY LIFE.
So, I am not a Spectrum or Charter customer, however, I do get robocalls from them EVERY SINGLE DAY, sometimes multiple times per day. I repeatedly ask to be removed from their list, however, instead of being professional and honoring my request, their agents mock me and tell me that the calls will increase in frequency and that there is nothing I can do about it... Except there is, and that is to report them to my local AG, FTC and BBB. Additionally, I am filing complaints for their clear violations of a number of privacy laws. Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this but these clowns are as unprofessional and shady as they come.
Spectrum is terrible! They're prices are outrageous and they're channel selection is terrible. They play the same reruns over and over for years. Never change anything up. I think I've watch every episode of Andy Griffith show 100 times over. Same with gun smoke. Pawn stars, you name it! Same movies over and over also! Absolutely ridiculous and they have the monopoly which really sucks!
Cancelled cable and just kept internet and phone. Cancelled on the 25th of the month. Apparently that was 3 days into our next billing cycle. These no contract a-holes claim our "contract" says you pay for the month. These people are crooks! It should be pro rated for the three days. They are stealing money for services not rendered! It is costing me 3000. 00 a year for the bundle that started out at about 1100. 00 a year three years ago! Being on a fixed income and retierd we cant aford the monthy charges! I would not recomend spectrum-charter to anyone! Most of the reveiws reftect that also!

We spoke to Nicollete at Spectrum Business about a promotion for 3 telephone lines and 200 mbps internet speed for 117.00 the first year and 177.95 the second year. After realizing that we were already a faithful spectrum client for many years with only 100 mbps and 3 lines paying 190.00, her whole attitude changed. Now she wanted to raise the price to 277.95 for 200 mpbs. Why should existing clients pay so much more for slower internet than new clients. This is grossly unfair.

Spectrum Cable/Internet customer service is not worth one star. The internet service itself is intermittently awful but I have been paying for premium service, which I have not reliably been getting, Further, when I called to cancel 5 days before the end of my billing cycle, I was not informed that I had "missed my billing cycle end by 2 days" so as a result, I am now stuck paying $80 for a full month of service that I don't need and won't use. This company is a professional scam artist and I will never, ever use them again not would I recommend them to anyone. In fact, I will go out of my way to warn others about signing up with a company that feels entitled to money that they are not owed. Horrible business practices, horrible customer service, and I actively root for their demise. If you sign up with Spectrum don't say I didn't warn you. They're despicable.
Terrible customer service will not work with customers at all their way or the highway I canceled my appointment with them and they still sent me equipment in the mail and now my static IP is working with my cameras they told me to take the equipment back I told them no come back and pick it up yourselves
I have had the worst internet connection since day one of installation and when they came to " fix it" they replaced my router and then when I still had problems afterwards the manager said I would have to buy and install my own router or just live with it the way it is because they couldn't " promise me a good connection all the time". I cannot watch tv or even use my phone while on internet without it crashing and saying connection error or buffering. Do not get involved with this company unless you want no internet connection and people who do not care about you as a person just the money you give them each month.
Spectrum has been there every time. Just today I was experiencing a problem with the Router and through chat customer service they sent someone named Neil who was friendly, courteous and showed concerned. He did everything in his power to make sure that everything was in working order. Thanks Neil and Thank you Spectrum.
I signed up with spectrum to install new tv service at my home. The installer came out and disconnected my existing TV cable service. After about 30 mins the installer said " I won't be able to install your spectrum service today and that spectrum would have to come out later in the week to do some work before he could install my new service". I said ok, just put my old service which he had disconnected back into service... Well, he could NOT get my old service working again. I spoke with a manager and she was really rude and basically said although they did disconnect my service they would not be able to get it back working and to call my provider and request they get me reconnected. I was livid! And on top of that the manager had a really I don't give a damn attitude. STAY AWAY from SPECTRUM!

Finally got my bill down to a manageable price per month. Then two months later here comes the account update from spectrum saying your bill will increase starting next month. I'm canceling Friday and i am done with these people. They need to go out of business.
The service drops every 20minutes or so in my area. I have troubleshooter everything, and even a hard reset only keeps internet in my house on 1 TV for about 40min. Worst investment ever- AVOID AT ALL COSTS. The best recommendation is to switch providers IMMEDIATELY.
Supposedly Spectrum has a Deaf plan, which should only run a Deaf customer about $54 a month for internet service alone. My friend and her mother who are both deaf have only internet service yet they have been charged over$600 in 5months for a landline phone service calling Pakistan. This company should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of they're Deaf customers and refusing any repairs and reimbursement.
This has been completely the worst service I have ever experienced. I was with them for 3 years and to say the least they do not reward you for customer loyalty. Within that time the Internet was very unstable and nobody could ever help. When we moved we requested our services to be canceled at the end of the month just like every other service you have and they told us to send back the equipment and we thought that would be it. We then get a bill charging us for the equipment as well as another months worth of Internet. I called and told them we sent the equipment back and that I gave my cancelation for the end of the month so I shouldn't be charged for another 30 days of Internet. The supervisor or manager Caren blatantly told me we are a subscription based service and that we will not be refunding you as you had the service until the 31st and billing end on the 28th. So in short I am paying $79.99 for 3 days of internet. Of course they state these details somewhere but nobody told me when I called in for cancelation to make sure I end my services at the end of billing month otherwise I would have ended it then to not pay for the next month. After 3 years of being with them they have no customer satisfaction and only want your money. Completely unhappy with them and the so called service they provided. I will be leaving more reviews on as many platforms as possible to warn people of them
