I set up the service giving my cell phone number and email address and information was entered wrong. As a result, I was not able to activate my cell phone service or cable service because of their error. I had to call 3 times to set up everything and had to wait at least 30 min each time and was disconnected once. I still have not set up everything. A technician still has to come out. Coming from the DMV to the South is a huge adjustment and it is not as professional as I would have liked.
The people are super friendly. And the tv works great. However as far the internet. It is very poor.
Customer service at this company is ridiculously terrible. I tried to cancel my cable service. I still had a couple day left in my cycle. Called. They said that now we have to return the box to cancel the service and we can't do it over the phone. Ok, no problem. We were told to go to a Spectrum store. We went. The store told us they no longer accept returns and that they need to be shipped via UPS. Got it. We went to UPS and had it shipped. Easy enough. The guy at UPS said we need to call Spectrum to cancel. Ok, third time we got contradictory information. But no biggie. We called Spectrum. Then we were told that calling doesn't matter and that they need to receive the box before the cycle. Now I am getting frustrated. Our billing starts again tomorrow and there is no way to return the box - especially now that it is with UPS. I figured we would get a prorated amount for any days we didn't use. Nope. We will be charged the full amount. So basically we have no box. No cable and need to pay $100 for a month when we can't use it. No wonder everyone is cutting the chord. This is a dead business model and so they need to squeeze every penny out of people. Sadly, we have no other option for internet so we are stuck with them for now.
Spectrum has bombarded my residence for months with telemarketing calls. I can't get them to stop. They don't even service my area. How dumb and poorly focused can a company be?

OMG the WORST! Ive been the CHARTER customer since 2014. They switched it to spectrum I don't know when(( recently my router stoped working and spectrum told me you better take our router and pay just $5/month for renting. What? I made 4 calls and all of them were saying to deal only with spectrum routers. $5x12 months=$60 (that's the router price!) I can use the router for 4 years at least. WTf? When the last guy told me that you have 3 hours to go get it for FREE it's close to my house, that's when I said ok and just bought mine from Amazon and called to Netgear to help me to instal. SPECTRUM MATHER $#*!ERS!
If I could give them a zero I would. Our service is constantly out. We set an appointment to exchange equipment and have to wait over 2 hours in the store to receive the wrong equipment per tech support after waiting on hold for another 2 hours. We returned equipment and are on bill pay with our bank. Honestly, didn't notice they continued to bill us for over a year. Rep sees they are over charging us sees that we returned the equipment but says can only go back 60 days and lectures me about reading mail. I'm sorry but I am a busy mom with 2 kids who works full-time. I trusted Spectrum would not overcharge me and do the right thing. My service is still not working but they did offer me a new more expensive plan... smh
I paid my bill 80$ and spectrum said I didn't but yet I have proof with bank statements. A company that makes millions stole 80$ from me and instead of fixing the issue after being with them for 7 years I'm told spectrum is gonna fight you on this. Go with a company that actually cares and will help you.
I would like to complain about our cable service, it is an issue literally every day! If it isn't one tv it's another, and we have 4 of them. I am not exaggerating when I say that there's a problem daily; all's fine one second and then the next thing you know the screen is frozen. I have to unplug the tv and the cable box and plug them back in, if it's not my tv it's my tv in the living room, or the office, or our sons room. It is EVERY SINGLE DAY, it isn't fair to pay $200 plus a month for decades, but when you call it to complain, they say they're not showing an outage in our area, or they can't credit our acct. Unless it's been out 4 hours or longer?!?! Terrible business practices, unfair, and very expensive for any service w/that many problems. Someone HELP, they're company should be held accountable, in some way or another. Looking for ways to "cut the cord, ASAP!"
I returned my equipment to SPECTRUM November 23. We had several issues of service shutting off. Unclear picture. Plus the bill jumped up even though i still had basic cable. End of november i recieve another bill for december. I call them explain my services were disconnected november 23. They are making me pay for a month i DIDNT even have equipment or service... THEY REFUSE TO TAKE DECEMBER BILL OFF... DO NOT USE SECTRUM THEY ARE A RIPOFF

I spoke with Jason on 11/19/2021 to cancel my service. He informed me that I just paid for the month so he suggested I keep the service till the end of the billing cycle. I mentioned to him that we already set up a new service with another company and he said, keep both for now, you already paid for the month. My husband and I decided to call Spectrum back early on 12/4/2021 to cancel all services before the cycle end. I spoke with Paul and he informed me, that I would not have any payments due and that our balance was ZERO. I got another bill from Spectrum stating I owe them another $225.55. I called today, 12/22/2021 and spoke with Guy from the billing department and he proceeded to tell me that I was misinformed by both of the above-mentioned Spectrum employees and that I still owe another $225.55. I asked to speak with a manager immediately and was connected to Ernestine who was just as useless as Guy. This woman told me there was absolutely nothing she could do. I told her that she had two employees giving out misinformation to the Spectrum customers and she proceeded to say to me "There is nothing I can do about it, all I can say is, you owe $225.55." This company is BEYOND DISHONEST TO THEIR CUSTOMERS AND I HIGHLY RECOMEND NOT USING ANY OF THIER SERVICES EVER!

Can't get mgmt on the phone or to return your call. For a communication company 0 communication. After they transferred my many times to the next wrong location. The next woman didn't listen to my issue she asked for me to say it for the 4th time. Yes I was annoyed
But she said that I have an attitude. When I asked her name she hung up.

I have a BBB complaint and an FCC complaint against them. BBB has them rated A+ even though they only have 1 star and a 1.07% satisfaction rating! The FCC has given them 14 days to respond! I have been contacted by 5 different spectrum employees about my complaint and 3 letters! They do not help you at all and put up a defense since I complained to the BBB and FCC about their monopoly in this area!
I would give no stars if I could. The service goes out everytime it rains or is a little windy. Charter really needs to fix and look into why this keeps happening. The internet went out 2 times in 5 days. I am just getting rid of this terrible company.

I've been using it for many years since I was used a Times Cable. But every year your invoice goes up over $ 5 -$10 and you will eventually be unable to pay. Their promotion will return to the original ridiculously high amount in just one year, so consulting with an agent will not help. Agent is never help your bill so You have to pay that crazy bill. If you have another WIFI company, I would recommend another one. The amount they raise The price may be illegal, so ask them if they are in compliance with US law and make sure your invoice is correct. If it is not correct, we recommend filing a complaint on the invoice.
I had the worst experience when my cable was being installed. My bestfriend and I was harassed by the installer. I am so glad she got it on video.It does no good to report it to Spectrum. They don't care about their customers at all. They only care about the video. They have no care or concern about women being sexually harassed. They only want the video to cover their asses.
These Spectrum swindlers phone representative promised us they would continue our senior citizen discount for 2022. When the e-mail confirmation came through they reneged on the promise.
