I had to cancel my internet because it becoming expensive. They will lure you to a low price then after few months it will increase in price tremendously. They say you can cancel anytime but even if you cancel you still have to pay the whole billing cycle. I ask for prorate but they say they don't do pro-rating.
This company sells you on the service and then doubles the price! I was told when I transferred my previous service to them that the price would only go up $20 at the end of the subscription period. Now here I am at the end, and they doubled it! I called and they refused to do anything! I was gullible and believed what they said - please learn from my mistake and do not go with Spectrum - they will rip you off!

Spectrum you have a new formal complaint to the FCC. This is theft. Accepting monies from a person for services they do not receive. Not allowing them cancel. My family came down with covid. I've been sick for 23 days. I haven't been to work and when I called to see if I can get a one week extension they told me that it's impossible to do that due to their 20 day grace period. I've been a customer for about three years and I've always paid on time up until this month. Very disappointing.
I ended up catching Covid so I could not work I contacted charter letting them know the situation. This was on 20th of January. I was told my services would not be disconnected and I can make my payment on February 1st. Guess what it's the 26th and my services are off. So now my kids can't do school and I can't work pissed.
Spectrum states "No Contract" all that means is they can charge as much as they want any time they want.
No contract gives Spectrum a free ride with no conditions to keep for any lenght of time.

You continue to raise my rates with cable and internet. 2 years ago I was paying $165.00. Now it's $223.00. I don't trust your company, and your rates are not good after you lure in customers. I was unable to go with Direct TV due to line of site issues with the receiver in my new apt. I am apt hunting and will switch services if I am able upon moving into a new residence.
Just get a prepaid cellphone with unlimited data. Very disappointed. The Fayetteville Spectrum branch needs to be canceled. 47$ bundle+ 1 missed payment= 200$ owed
HERE IT GOES, Stand in front of ur cable box hold up ur remote click on systems on/ off button and hold still in place until each of the 5 lights individually and in slow motion go on and wait for it in case that didn't work that probably means u weren't holding the remote right. Do it again it's an absolute joke of a Flinstones system, did spectrum CEO's ever watch the Jetsons maybe they should because everything to do with their TV cable systems, cable boxes and remotes is an absolute joke. Instead of doing commercials telling the locals about how great ur system is they should take that money and update there systems. When I moved here I never thought anywhere in the country there be a crappier cable systems company, but Spectrum is the winner by far. Vero Beach is next door they have XFINITY, Brevard county should let xfinity take over Brevard. I had XFINITY for many years and it's amazing all the things xfinity can do. So here is the final kicker for the same exact service XFINITY is just a tad bit les than spectrum. I'd pay extra just to have XFINITY cable and no longer have to use spectrum's dinosaur cable.
If you're like me, you may be stuck in an area with a choice of DSL and Spectrum. I almost feel like nothing would be a better alternative. If you enjoy buffering every 30-60 seconds even though you're not using any other devices and spectrum customer service had assured you that your service can support streaming services, spectrum is the choice for you! If you like blurry streaming service when it's not buffering, again, this is the service for you! But why should they care? They know we don't have much of a choice so let's charge people too much for annoyingly painful streaming because they can…shame on Spectrum. A company that truly represents American greed.

Spectrum has been raising my bill, so I found ATT, January 10,2022 I cancelled my Spectrum Service, turned in all my equipment, I had 9 days of service in a 30 day billing cycle and they still expect me to pay for the full Month, that's Ripping people off. I don't mind paying for the Service I used, not the Service I did not have... talked to a rep on January 16,2022 and a Supervisor named Kevin, do you think they even tried to help me, Nope nothing and besides poor internet service that's why I terminated my service with Spectrum.

Unreliable. Internet goes out frequently. It went out for 48+ hrs one time. They had a technician come out bc they thought it was a coaxial cable issue. Yeah okay bc a brand new coaxial cable that you provided just happened to go bad randomly. Tech came out and told me it was something structural, whatever that means. He said they will have people come at night to fix it and they dont need to come in my house. Well, it still wasnt fixed by 9pm that night. So i called them again and the lady said they will get to it tomorrow morning... and that i would need to be home. Wtf. 2 different stories. I asked wtf is wrong and she couldnt really tell me what it was. Said something along the lines of its old material and they need to do maintenance. Well okay why did you wait until my internet was completely down to do regular maintenance, like yall wouldnt have done it if i hadnt complained? Anyways internet still wasnt fixed in the morning... bc nobody came by. Then they sent another tech around 3pm and he just hard reset the router... wtf. Unreliable liars. They probably dont even know what was wrong in the first place. Idiots.
