I ordered a tank top in a xl (I used the size chart but it wasn't right for me) and when it arrived it was huge on me. I wanted to exchange for a size L instead. They told me not to bother returning the xl, donate or gift it, whatever I choose to do, and they issued me a credit for it as well. On top of that they helped me order the size L too! I couldn't believe how amazing the service was, and being able to donate the xl to a shelter in my home city will be so greatly appreciated by someone who needs it!

I ordered an art print that I have been eye balling for 3 years. I unfortunately ordered a small print and was disappointed in my choice. I emailed customer service and they were so AWESOME! No questions asked, they refunded my money and even provided a discount code so that I could order the size I really wanted. BEST customer service EVER!

Society6 are a truly great business and everyone should be cleaning out their pockets to spend their money here.

I've been gifted and also ordered a few items from the company myself and have always really liked the quality of products and the ace feeling of supporting independent artists.

After receiving an item and finding to my dismay that it didn't quite look the way I expected it to (based on the web image, which is auto-generated, I understand), I did the normal thing and weighed up my options: keep it and suck up the loss of 50 clams or begin the arduous returns journey? Hmm. Although I hated to do it, I did eventually decide to return the item for my money back.

I tried to process a refund through their handy automated system. But I ran into problems, and after a few tries I gave in, pressed the red buzzer, and sent a Contact Us message. A few hours later (I am overseas), I got a personal reply via email that was totally understanding, supportive and helpful. The company had gone ahead and processed my refund and also - wait, what? - told me not to worry about returning the item. "Donate it," they said. "It's really okay." - an unexpected and completely extra-mile move on their part, which was actually pretty damned welcome, as I would have been paying for international postage in order to get it back to them.

They way Society6 handle their customer service is commendable - and that takes a certain amount of caring and cojones from a company that is sorely lacking most other places.

That one little move made a loyal future customer out of me.

Love that they're the exception to the rule. Society6 rocks.

Overpriced

The clothing category is definitely overpriced. I really liked a couple of the leggings but damn they're expensive for what they are.

I've now ordered 4 items from society6,2 tapestries, 1 ceramic coffee mug and an art print. I have not been disappointed at all. Their stuff is quality! The tapestries and art print are so vibrant and seamlessly printed to the object. The ceramic mug is priced a little high for me, for what you get, but it is quality. I probably wouldn't order another mug but I really only need one travel mug. I will definitely be ordering more art prints. With so many artists and beautiful art on their site it's my favorite place to go when I want to add flare to my home. Plus they actually pay the artist which is important!

Caring human response

I have to say that as a senior citizen who doesn't participate in social media and truly does not want to, I was feeling quite frustrated with the site, as I wanted answers re a return and re-order. Finally found my way. My e-mail question to the help center at Society6 was miraculously responded to by Jonathan who was incredibly helpful and answered every question in detail. The human touch, as always...!

Great experience w Society6

I ordered 3 t-shirts (1 for me, 2 for my partner) from Society6 in March 2017. It was my first time using the site and ordering from Society6. As usually happens with first purchases I ordered the wrong sizes!! I then tried to return the shirts using Society6's website. It was confusing and I ended up "returning" the order but also re-ordering the same sizes! I canceled that order and contacted Society6 directly for some help. They sent me an email immediately letting me know they would be in contact with me ASAP, "within 8 hours". They contacted me 7 hours later and told me they would refund my order, how to order new shirts in the proper size, and that "it is not necessary to return the shirts you currently have in this instance--please keep, donate or discard them however you see fit (its really okay)."

I was so pleasantly surprised, my partner loved his shirts (he ordered 4 more shirts from Society6) and we will definitely become return customers because of their fantastic return policy but mostly because of the quick and helpful support we received.

I had a problem in that some of my earnings which should have been cleared were still showing as pending. Within hours of raising a query the earnings were cleared. Incredible service. I love Society6.

It has been a month since I started conversations with on-line representatives and still no refund to my credit card. It is impossible to get a response from anyone. Several times it's been stated that the refund would appear on my card within 7 - 10 days.
STAY AWAY from this site.

Jonathan was extremely helpful and understanding! I needed to have an order cancelled immediately since my address changed unexpectedly and there was no way I could pick up the package at the old address, and since the package had already shipped they went ahead and asked me for my new address to ship the same item free of charge! They didn't have to do any of that, but instead they went above and beyond to ensure that I was happy. Very great seller, and will definitely purchase from them again!

I expect good customer service - but GREAT customer service is hard to find - but not with Society 6. I ordered the Monet bed cover and needed some help with customer service - and John the rep not only helped me (he went beyond my expectations) but he also gave me a discount code so I could save money and free shipping. He didn't have to do that - I was already ordering the product. And the product is amazing quality - much higher quality than I expected. The colors are vibrant Monet - and the cover is soft. You know it is a win when your husband also gives it 5 Starts! I will be buying from Society 6 again - they have so many products. L

Its always a little hard to know what fabrics are like when you order on line, but I ordered a comforter, 2 throw pillows and a shower curtain. The design is exactly what it looked like in the pictures. I feel the quality is good, not high luxury, but that is not what I paid for. Whole process completed in about 10 days with return process was explained, but not needed.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

I ordered a throw rug (which was very pretty), and was actually sent an additional one by mistake. When I informed Society6, they told me to keep the second rug without charge (I was planning on paying for it). That is good business.

Complete rip-off

I ordered an item of clothing and received an email saying that it had shipped January 25th. It never arrived. The "Help Center" website requires you to put in a description of the issue, but has no dialog box for that section. I have not received my item and there is no way to follow up. This outfit is at least unprofessional at best and maybe criminal. Avoid ordering from them.
