If you are going to buy tickets through this company, be very careful because they are scam, my niece bought tickets to fly from PR to Orlando on April 2 and she called to cancel the flight and change the return one and she never found a number confirmation ticket at the airline and when they were called, they hung us up and the last one who answered gave us a false code and to this day they do not call, nor do they send a reservation code, nor do they return the money

Booked a trip to Italy in October 2019. Purchased travel insurance. Coronavirus unexpectedly hit the world... Delta cancelled all flights to Italy... several calls to smartfares and they are not helpful nor empathetic to what many are facing. I didn't purchase tickets to cancel but rather enjoy an extraordinary anniversary with my husband and brother and sister in law. They need to do the right thing. Anywhere else if you don't get the product or service, you are refunded. The airlines will surely be bailed out if necessary! Never again!

I purchased tickets from smartfares because it was about $75.00 cheaper per tickets. With the Coronavirus issue we decided to rebook our reservations into late fall. The airlines we were using decided to cancel their re-booking penalty for every destination they serviced, which is fair. However, smartfares charged be $250.00 for the same flights 8 months later. I am a former travel agent, so I looked at the calculations of the fare ladder. Long story short, the ticket was $2.00 more than the original ticket. Smartfares makes up their own service fees. I believe each agent works on commission as my first quote was $367.00 additional per ticket and the agent went as far as to email me his contact information so I dealt with him. If you make no changes, and bottom line price is your goal, then fine, smartfares will be ok. However, if you need them to make a change, beware they will charge you way more than what you should pay. They rip you off!

I booked a business class ticket with them and when I called to change the flight they told me they found a cheaper fair, changed my flight and then told me I had to pay $700 in fees. If I didn't agree they would forfeit my ticket because they had already canceled the old flight.

Today I called to postpone my flight because of the Corona Virus they are saying that I must pay $2000 for the price difference. My friend who works at the Airlines is saying that they are scamming me and that flights are actually cheaper now.

My husband needed to change the flight due to coronavirus outbreak threat. We called them and they told us they won't change as it's their rule. Hello~~~ they don't even try. We told them they won't accept change even in this chaotic situation? They say NO and told us to call the airline. Then the airline (Hawaiian airlines) told us to call the travel agent. Basically they just keep their hands off each other. OMG, what a joker. We called Smartfares 2nd time and this time the agent was trying to help a bit. But he needed to call Hawaiian air. He said, " you need to pay $570 to change the flight'. Are you kidding me? We will just buy a new ticket then. We will never book through Smartfares.

I booked a ticket there. They had to process the creditcard information. After calling many times, they said after 5 hours that they were unnable to book the flight and they were offering a higher price! Don't book there! Chicken byriany company.

DON'T BUY WITH THEM!

I bought a ticket to the US worthing about 900$ with smartfares, then for personal reasons I need to reschedule to come back a week later, I called them yesterday and they wanted to charge me 800 dollars to change the day back, and if I BUY a ticket back through any other site, it is half price. It's ridiculous. Not to mention the half-hearted service they gave on the phone with a guy speaking English with a horrible accent to understand. I think if you're going to hire someone to take care of you over the phone, you have to make sure the person's diction is good enough for anyone to understand. I WON'T BUY WITH THEM EVER AGAIN!
It is easy to sell and when a problem arises just do nothing!

I booked a flight then a few hours later I decided to cancel it. Their site says you can call and cancel risk free if it's within 24 hours of booking the flight. So I called and first they were only going to give me 80 of 180 dollars back then I kept arguing and they bumped it up to 120. They said it was because of delta. So I got off and called delta and they have the same 24 hour cancellation policy. They said I should have received the full refund. I sent them all the information and am waiting to hear back from them. I will never use them again and I am warning others about how bad they are.

If I had read the reviews before ordering my ticket through this site I wouldn't have ordered. But I'm glad I did I had no trouble whatsoever connecting from Maryland to Montego Bay i purchased my ticket at a cheaper price than what the airline had advertised and I had No issue.

Lo peor de mi vida salen los boletos en la aplicación a un precio y resulta que cuando llamas para sacarlos te dicen que tienes que pagar mas dinero de impuestos y dice el muchacho que me atendió que ningún boleto que está en la aplicación está disponible. Worst site ever! A bunch of scam artist and horrible horrible customer service from their agents to their supervisors! I won't stop to this spreads all social media for people to be informed never to book anything through this website! I feel stupid get caught in this scam! 1- Bait and switch: false initial fare then they hike it either before or after you pay.
2- False claim that you get free cancellation within 24 hours. Agents insist on charging $350/passenger because "that's what the airlines charge, not us"
3- Rude customer service out of India even before any of these issues came up.

This is such a scam, they advertise a lower price then when you go to book the flight it tells you a higher one sometimes almost double. Then when you call they negotiate prices? Ok, anyway whatever gets me a lower price. Then they realize they went too low and recant the offer. I understand prices fluctuate but when the prices haven't changed for two weeks and you tell me they change all the time it becomes s bait and switch. I am a very frustrated traveler right now, it's a waste of time DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY AND NOW THEY HAVE MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. THEY TOLD ME 282.00 ON THE SITE AND CAME BACK WITH 425.00.

They offer you great prices get your credit card info and send you a confirmation #. Then they will send you another email a few hours later saying there was a problem, you must call immediately. This is where they try to UPSELL you to pay hundreds more for the same flight or a new one. Don't use this site.

My friends and I booked a Galapagos trip through this company and didn't figure out our tickets were canceled until we got to the airport that morning. We were completely screwed because all of the other flights to the islands were already booked. We had no reservation under our names and the company didn't bother to tell us until we called them to ask why we couldn't get on our flight. Long story short, don't book with them unless you want to lose thousands of dollars. Pay the extra to book directly through the airlines.

They charged extra fee $270 to change flight date without my permission! I said I want to use another credit and it wasn't disconnected. And I thought it is just hold. But they already changed flight date and charged $270 from my bank account. She was supposed to hold because I didn't give any permission to charge. This agent is so suck, please do not use this agent!
