They Stole $996.00 from me. Stay away or youll regret not talking my advice.its booked a flight which they canceled. I booked by ticket but flights got cancelled in December due to the Omicron outbreak. The worst. I bought a fully refundable ticket to have it cancelled without knowing. This is where I wanted my refund that I already purchased. They have not given me one yet and have been hung up on- too many times. Some nice people try to help only to have nothing get done. Avoid at all costs. This buulcrap company is a rip off I bought a ticket to Chicago I went to check in the day of my flight and it turns out that everything I printed ticket number airplane number was all wrong and fraudulent I called the company first I got something seem like they were in India then I was transferred to somebody else and I told him I need a ticket number it's not showing a ticket number except 10 zeros. They hung up I called back, Put me on hold for 20 minutes still no help I call the airlines they said this is not a legitimate ticket. They would not help me at all and said check with the airlines I ended up buying a ticket the same day and cost me eight times the price I paid. This company stay away from it
They blatantly tried to cheat without any shame. I purchased a roundtrip business class ticket from Washington Dallas airport to Istanbul in October of this year. I flew fine to Istanbul; however, when I called them from Istanbul to get the electronic ticket number to reserve my seat back to Washington, I was informed by their customer support that since I changed my return ticket, they can find me another returned date. I informed him that there was an error and I never changed the date of my returned flight. Customer care then informed me, well, the returned flight was inoperative on the returned date and he can book me back on another flight with a fee. I asked him what does "inoperative" mean? He put me on hold and came back a few minutes later informing me that the flight was canceled by the airlines and my only option was to book another flight with a fee. I replied that I am sitting on my computer and I do not see the flight canceled. He asked me to wait again and a few minutes later he came back and said he can book me on another day and there are no seats on my scheduled flight back. I said, well, I will buy a new ticket back to Washington if my returned flight was changed/canceled and I will deal with your company when I return to Washington. He put me on hold for the third time and a few minutes later he came back and said there was an error and my returned flight has not changed. I could not help but scold him and scored his company for playing a game trying to charge people for alleged canceled flights in order to make additional fees. While I was scolding him, the line got disconnected or he may hang up one. I called again to get the electronic ticket number and a new customer care agent and the same shameless process was repeated trying to cancel my flight and book me on another day justifying that with lies and deceptions. I will do my best to report this travel agency to the better business bureau, & the FBI. Kayak.com, from whom I booked the ticket, should remove them from their list.
Second time unlucky using this agency. I booked a flight and reserved seats but failed to deliver. Poor customer experience, agents do not take time to listen to client questions. Keep away
I paid $7700 for 2 premium economy tickets. When I saw the prices drop after my booking I called them to see if they can cancel my original booking and re-book a new flight. The rep quoted $3300 for the new ticket so I decided to move forward. After the tickets were booked I am told by the rep that $3300 were additional charges to what I already paid earlier! Instead of cancelling and rebooking a new flight the idiot CHANGED my existing ticket and charged my additional $.
The story doesnt end there. Singapore airlines cancelled my singapore to chennai flight so called them again to get a full refund. They stated that they can only process the $7700 original fee and the $3300 was "Exchange fee" by the airline and cannot be processed or refunded. Bunch of no-brain jokers so stay away.
The customer server was bad and they hung up on my as I kept insisting on proper explanation. Their phone connection is also VOIP and it not reliable and have gotten disconnected multiple times
So stay warned and save your $$$.
Two weeks ago I ordered a flight ticket via this service and a few minutes later got a confirmation letter with all the details which says that a flight ticket itself will be ready within 24 hours. After three days tried to contact them via gmail and FB because no ticket was sent to me. With no answer from their side I phoned them and their agent told me that my flight was canceled. At this point I asked to get a full refund which has been confirmed from their side (I have all the calls recorded). The agent told I should get a refund letter within a 48 hours and the procedure of my money back gonna take 6 working days (I didn't get any of these). Today I called them again and the agent informed me that a refund gonna take up to a month. After I told her that I been promised 6 days and asked her name she just hang out on me!
I am not sure I'll see my money back at this point. I have all the proof and gonna take it further. Be aware of their scam.
I didn't get confirmation email upon the purchase. It wasn't clear whether the transaction went through. I wasn't sure if the purchase was closed or not, I went ahead and brought a ticket directly from the airline which ended up cheaper than this agency charged. I tried to dispute it but failed. Never never do business with this agency! Now I am stuck with two airline tickets and also this agency is charging me $200 to change the date.

Its a scam. Dont give them bank details. My ticket price was 1065£. And they charged me 1193£. I sent them few email. Calls. But no response.

Stay away from SmartFares, it's a SCAM!
I ordered a ticket for $1400 from the US to Europe and it seemed like everything is okay. Then I didn't receive my booking number. I called Smart Fares and they tell me that in order to receive my booking number I need to pay 98$! Then after telling them that it's insane to charge additionally for AN EMAIL with this basic information, they sent it for free, but then told me that every passenger will be charged $98, so additional $300 just to be able to have my ticket confirmed with the airline!
Finally I am able to see my booking on the airline's website, but... THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL PASSENGER ADDED! They doubled one of the passengers' name, instead of 3 people I had 4 people on my booking! Then, the birth date of one of the passenger's was written wrongly by SmartFares and I couldn't change it manually, so waiting to call the airline tomorrow to resolve it.
It's exhausting! Such a waste of money and energy, I hope I will be able to fly to my destination without any problem, because I'won't pay anymore money to SmartFares!

I booked oye flight with Smartfares. They took the money in the first moment. Next day they told me tiene were not able to confirm my reservation so they cancelled it. Twenty days later I'm here. Calling everyday and without my refund. Let's see tomorrow. Give us a couple of days. Don't worry, it will be processed shortly. Allí kind of answers. I tired to book my recent Intl. Travel with Smart Fares, I got first confirmation on email right away. My friend booked a flight for me. (For security purpose, They do a call to the number linked to the Credit Card and make a double check if they did the transaction).
I literally got no response from them for 2 days. I keep requesting on chat support to verify the card holder and I was also keep calling call support to do the verification. The team was legit lying on the face and said the card holder isn't reachable but it was reachable every minute. I legitimate called more than 70 times (Yes, NOT EXAGRATING. MORE THAN 70 times) to call support (Pretty sure, they have outsourced the support at f cheapest price). Call support pick your call right away listen to your query and put you on hold and call gets cut within few minutes.
After 4 days, after keep trying they called my friend and verified it all and THEY WERE ASKING $200 MORE & FROM $520 to $720. I booked two days after my actual journey's date and paid $50 EXTRA. To wrap this up.
I booked through SkyScanner and the reviews of SmartFares were okay (3/5) around. GUYS! DONT FALL FOR THIS SCAM! YOU WILL GET ANXIETY and You will get frustrated every minutes. Happy Journey!
Smartfares are thieves. They literally stole $ 1,045 from my account. When I bought an air ticket through that company on May 7 this year, my bank first refused the transaction. My mistake was that I clicked to recognize transaction because I needed that ticket. But neither before nor after that Smartfares never sent me any email with air ticket details, nor any email at all, nor did they withdraw money from my account on the first day. The next day, convinced that I had not bought a ticket, I bought another airline ticket through another operator who immediately offered me more options. They even called me on the phone several times the same hour after I bought the ticket. After I bought the ticket via HOP2, I saw that Smartfares withdrew $ 1045 from my account. Of course, I called my bank and they gave me the number of these thieves. And of course, they didn't want to refund all of my money, and they said "that happens" when I said I never got any email from them. They offered to return me $ 600 or a credit in the same amount for future Turkish Airlines flights. I chose second option but they then asked me to pay an additional $ 150 for cancellation. I turned this down because they were already suspicious to me so I chose that $ 600 refund. To date, they have not paid me anything, although they have promised several times that I will get money in 1/2 biling cycles, and then 2-3 billing cycles. I even got a refund code and once a month I warned them about debt. Recently, they stopped answering me. My advice to everyone is- Never do business with Smartfares!
Useless company. Booked a flight and after 30 minutes got an email saying the payment wasn't processed because the price of the flight went up... If the price flight goes up AFTER the purchase was made WHY should I be charged more? So we call the number on the email and they told us the price had gone up by $100 a ticket... So, we cancelled the flight instead. They told us we'll get the money back in 7-10 business days, it's been over a month and we still haven't received our refund. It's obviously a scam. We've called the centre 4 times and every time the employees say the same thing "you'll get the refund in 3-4 business days". Honestly, all I can hope for is that this company goes bankrupt, out of business so no one has to deal with this scam bs again. Let's manifest the destruction of this company together! (:
I bought 2 tickets with them. My credit card got charged, I receved an email with my reservation info, but when I was checking in at the airport, the cashier told me - I do not have tickets for the flight.
I was very surprised, because I was checking my credit card - and there was a charge for the tickets,
I had to run all over the airport trying to buy new tickets and trying to make it to the flight on time. It was a nightmare.
When I contacted customer support the next week to get a refund for the tickets I got charged and figure out what happened, the representative was very rude, told me I was support to contact them or something.- and I was like, whyyyy? You charged my card...
So anyway, customer service - is so rude, unpolite, haven't even said sorry once.
