I had already bought few glasses from SMARTBUYGLASSES.COM. I love their fast action and I can get my new glasses within 1~2 weeks. And their glasses is authentic but cheaper than selling in optical shop.
I had a very pleasant experience with smartbuyglasses. They gave me the glasses I ordered within the specified time frame in perfect condition. I would definitely make purchases from them as their prices were much lower than retail outlets here in HK.
One minor comment would be that it would be great to let user know of the order status in an automated fashion. Right now everything went fine, but I knew not much before I actually got the glasses. This is in contrast to Amazon where you can trach your shipment.
My order was placed in Canada. I placed an order on October 23,2011 for a pair of D&G glasses, just the frames no lenses. I was so excited about the amount of glasses they carry and the prices are just phenomenal. However, I recently checked the order status and it said that the model was discontinued. I don't know why my particular frames were still on the website if they've been discontinued. I called the customer service line and I was reassured that I will receive all of my money back in 3-4 business days. I'm so disappointed about everything and now I have to buy my frames at full price at lenscrafter. They need to step their game up and delete all of the discontinued models.

I had a great experience with SmartBuyGlasses. I ordered the Carrera Champions at a great price. Free shipping too, that was a plus. When the sunglasses came I had not realized that they where the small size and where for children. I emailed in and asked about an exchange, I had to just pay the shipping for the return, and the new glasses Carrera Champions (adult sized) arived about 2 weeks later. They said that they had to wait for the small ones to be returned before shipping out the new ones. Only complaint I have is that they where a little hard to hear on the phone. Everything else was great, thanks for the after sales service!
Ordered a pair of sunglasses from what was available, then after no delivery contacted smartbuysunglasses to find out where they were, to be notified nobody makes or stock that model. So i had to choose a different pair of which i didn't really want and was told there would be no delivery charge as they stocked that pair localy and would get a refund for the delivery in which i don't think i actually recieved.

This is another diamond in the rough. The are literally hundreds of thousands of eyeglasses / sunglasses here. As an avid runner, I like to have a couple different pair of running shades, and some days I just don't feel like putting in my contacts for the morning run.
I bought some Adidas with the prescription inserts from smartbuyglasses. I also purchased some clear transition Rudy Projects, so that I can start running at sunset with the sun in my eyes, and as I come back through the rain in the evening as the storm roles in from the coast, i don't have to squint through the rain and I can still see once twilight is long gone.
Great service as well, had all my questions about the Adidas insert that I needed. Have been running in sunglasses from these guys for over a year, and I couldn't be more satisfied.
It was a pleasure to do business with smartbuyglasses. Before I placed my order for sun glasses I sent a technical question which was answered speedily to my satisfaction. These guys... just great. I couldn't believe the price at first for the Ray Bans i got, almost half the cost? Well, gave them a try and couldnt have been better. Had and issue as I ordered the wrong color, but called the service line and had everything fixed. Shipping time was OK, not the fastest but nothing crazy long. For sure would use these guys again.
Unbelievable. You cannot speak with any customer service agent. You must do it all through e-mails. Received e-mail that my original frames I ordered are no longer manufactured. This was after like 10 days. So, I pick out another frame for $14 more. You'd think they would write off the $14 since their customer service is so non-existant and atrocious. I paid the extra $14. Sent to proof in the form of a link to them. Every day twice a day I get e-mails saying I need to pay the $14. This is very very frustrating. When you send an e-mail, then send you an email back saying that someone will e-mail you within 72 hrs. I'm so confused over all these e-mails what a mess!
If I ever get my glasses I will be happy. If not and I get my money back I will go to a dealer and pay full price for them. This is ridiculous and not worth the $50 or so you supposedly save. Don't do it.

It's true that smartbuyglasses is not the fastest service :), but I didn't find it to be unreliable at all. My order also wasn't 'in stock' so I had to wait a bit, but I was being informed constantly about the status of the order, which was then shipped by a courrier at no charge, and I was also offered a 10% discount on a future order. I would say that if you're not in a hurry to get your order, the excellecnt prices make the wait worthwhile. Happy police eyeglasses owner :).

I ordered a pair of sun glasses from this web site and two week passed and nothing. Called the local tool free number and it was routed to Shanghai (called them and the girls on the other end of the phone is unprofessional and it all sounded like it comes from a rented flat in Shanghai.
Guys, do a Google map on the address listed on the web site, and you'll be suprised to see a run-down, ugly, dumped car port womewhere on dirty street in NY. This business actually has over a dozen web sites sharing same setup in US, UK, Canada, Australi, Africa, etc.
They're not a legemite business, I'd personally called a con or a scam web site.
Do not shop there. I hope somehow it can be shut down.

I ordered a pair of glasses frames from here. They were quick to tell me the item was out of stock but they were contacting Ray Ban for me. After a few days, they let me know the frame was unavailable from Ray Ban and quickly refunded my money. Would deal with them again.

I am very satisfied with my order at Smartbuyglasses. On August 29th I purchased a pair of Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses, which I received in perfect condition at September 8th. I had to wait a couple of days longer compared to buying it at a store, but it also saved me 40 euro. For me it was certainly worth the wait. Also I found the website easy to use, the purchasing process simple, and I was very pleased with status updates about my order. The glasses themselves are of excellent quality and totally meet my expectations.

I placed my order at "www.smartbuyglasses.com" for a Giorgio Armani GA 792-010 frame on August 12th, 2010. The same day I could see that the amount had been charged to my MasterCard account, which is rather unusual. A serious company will normally wait to have your item shipped before charging it to your credit card.
While their website states ''5-11 working days'' for delivery, I received an e-mail on August 30th (12 working days later) telling me that it had just been shipped with Canada Post and giving me a tracking number.
On September 1st, I could see on Canada Post website that the item had arrived and was "processed at postal facility" in Mississauga, Ontario. Since then, nothing. Three weeks later, it still appears that "the" item is still "processed at postal facility" and Smart Buy Glasses keeps answering to my e-mails that it will arrive "in just 2-3 days".
Be careful with that "company". Have a look at all the complaints on this site and all over the web regarding Smart Buy Glasses. And maybe you'll think twice before ordering something from them.

They appear to have great prices on sunglasses but don't be fooled by their deceptive practices. Also don't expect to receive your order very quickly. It took me 4 weeks to receive my order. They had been shipped from China. Three weeks after I received them I received a bill from FedEx for Brokerage fees and Duties Tax and Customs Fees in the amount of $26.54. There was no mention of this when I placed the order. I have contacted the company about these charges but so far no response. Save your time and money and buy elsewhere.
WARNING - DO NOT TRUST SMARTBUY GLASSES! I emailed them twice to confirm if they have a pair of glasses I want. They confirmed that they have it in stock and that it was not on back order (I even have the emails for proof). I purchased the glasses and 2 days later I noticed that I did not receive a tracking number. I checked and they did not even process the order. I called them and they said they don't have the product in stock. They told me they need to go out to one of their Italian distributors in Italy to get the glasses. I had to call my credit card company and stop payment.
If they were a legitimate company they would of been honest and told me they didn't have the glasses in stock. However they want you to pay for it first and then they'll go look for the glasses. BTW - you're payments are made to somewhere in the United Kingdom.
