Interesting tactics they have. I'm sorry I didn't search the company before placing my order over four weeks ago. The glasses have been paid, but no sign of them as of yet. 5 to 11 days delivery, my a$$.

I am rating the service with 2 stars because I'm still hoping to receive the sunnies.

This company should really put an effort if they want to be as reliable as they claim to be in their numerous promising emails.

I'm happy for my new ray-ban sunglasses. It's not about branding or styling but all about the quality. My eyes hurt from all other sunglasses which I've worn but ray-ban are my type. The price is catchy for sunglasses. Recommend

I have been ordering contact lenses with Smartbuyglasses for over two years, because they were able to ship to China.

In the beginning everything was OK except for the shipping time, which averaged around 14 - 20 days. Lately the waiting times increased, the system for tracking order status is completely nonfunctional - it sends notifications about "order on the way" 9 days after the lenses have been received, and sometimes simply nothing happens until I start sending e-mail inquiring why nothing is happening.

The staff is clueless, instead of solving the problem they reply by regurgitating marketing slogans about how big, great and fast their are, and that I shouldn't worry because no other company would handle the order properly either.

Finally, after shipping the package, they update me with a UPS tracking number which doesn't work and they "have to research why" - only to send no update 10 days later and I having to find out they shipped the package with USPS instead.

Last order, however, was the last drop. After 12 days of nothing happening I sent an email inquiring what is happening with the order, getting an answer that their internal payment system had some problem so they decided to do nothing - didn't process the order, didn't send an update e-mail, didn't return the payment - just chilled out and hoped the problem would solve itself, or the stupid customer would find out eventually and start solving the situation himself. After admitting their fault they stopped replying their emails, again, not returning the money or delivering the goods, forcing a PayPal dispute.

NEVER USE THIS E-SHOP, you would hardly ever come across a worse experience

I ordered the glases 05/13/2013. 05/15/15 they took 305usd from credit card. Order US*******251G status "Wait to be verified " couse my country (Ukraine) is have high risk. I send scan of my passport, bank certificate. But there are no more answers and letters. Maybe here someone answer me - where are my money?

Received fake sunglasses from this company! I thought it would be safe because of ok looking site and good average reviews for example on trustpilot. But now i checked, and either someone rated as 5 or 1, nothing in between, suspect company is posting the positive reviews! Or people that dont know real from fake glasses. Its a scam!

Horrible experience - i ordered glasses 2 months ago and every week in the past 2 months they told me it would be ready the following week. Still no glasses in sight. I have never had such unreliable service from a company.

I ordered a set of Prada sunglasses not available in the color I wanted in the stores. The price was good but not brilliant - about two thirds of similar styles in the stores.

The shipping advice showed that they were coming from China which worried me a bit because they are made in Italy. However unlike many people reviewing on this site they did arrive really quickly.

However I am fairly certain they are fake not original Prada. This is because the lenses and frames should be etched with the same serial no. And that should also be on an accompanying white certification card - which wasnt enclosed.

I am asking for my money back and will let you all know what happens!

This seller really sucks! They are into habit of accepting your order, charging payment and then making some delaying tactics not to send your item. I currently have an issue about the item I ordered more than a week ago. I placed an order for Ryban eyeglasse, they acknowledge and apparently process my order. But after the charges appeared in my bill, they put the status of my order as under verification because they said they have to make sure that its a legitimate purchase. They required me to send ta copy of my ID as a proof that its an authorize transaction. They acknowledge my documents but after that they never reply to my follow ups. Keep sending email to the customer service team and service manager but none of them bothered to reply. I'm asking them to refund my money but they don't answer my emails. Please don't order from this seller if you don't want to o through all the hassles that buyer like me is experiencing.

SmartBuyGlasses may have good prices and selections but it took such a long time to receive my order. For some reason, the frames I ordered were narrower than I expected for a size 52. They felt more like a size 49 or 50. So I hope these are genuine sizes.
My wife also ordered from them but had to cancel her order because she didn't receive the order even after 3 weeks. She followed up numerous times and they didn't respond to her queries on the status of the order until she asked for a cancellation.

I don't plan on ordering through their store again except they are the only ones that carry a particular frame of choice.

The sunglasses were sent in the wrong size, a scratch to one of the lenses and a non genuine Armani Case that did not stay closed. I received many time wasting email replies which bordered on being sarcastic and contradictory. If I had known that "SmartBuyGlasses UK" are based in HONG KONG I would have steered well clear as Trading Standards in the UK will not apply to Hong Kong. Non existent customer service but just smarmy emails designed to throw you off track and waste your time. Be advised to avoid these sharks, and I wonder how many of the five star reviews are put up by their very own staff? Still no refund received and don't be deceived by any smarmy reply from them thanking me for my patiance and feedback...

I bought a pair of men's Tom Ford Leopold Havana sunglasses. In my opinion, they are *FAKE*. The reasons why I think they are fake:

1. The glasses case is the wrong case

2. The Tom Ford brand name on the glasses case is pressed and not embossed in gold

3. The glasses do not come with the Tom Ford branded glasses cleaner

4. The frames are twisted. They don't sit right. I put them on, looked in the mirror and they sat really crookedly. I took them off and had a look, the frame is really obviously twisted. This would not have passed Tom Ford Quality Assurance tests and/or they would never have been manufactured by Tom Ford with a fault...

Before you suggest that they were damaged in transit, they are so twisted, there's no way they could twist this much without them breaking. Also, the were packed really well in multiple boxes and well protected.

I don't normally post on forums but I do read the reviews when I am purchasing a product. However, I felt obligated to write a post after ordering a pair of Ray Ban glasses from Smartbuyglasses.

After reading numerous reviews, some good and some bad, I decided to order a pair of glasses from them. From the reviews I read, the only complaints seemed to be that sometimes the glasses took longer to be delivered than advertised. As the price is so good I was willing to take the chance that this might happen to me.

I am in South Africa and I ordered my glasses on Friday afternoon. The glasses are shipped from Hong Kong regardless of which website you purchase them from. This is their head office. On Tuesday evening my glasses arrived. This is 2 working days after I ordered them.

To be fair, the model I purchased was labelled as having "Fast Delivery". However, I never expected it to be this quick.

I can confirm that the glasses are definitely genuine and are the exact model that I saw in the shop.

It is definitely worth buying from this company. If the worst that can happen is that delivery takes longer than you thought, this is not a deal breaker in my opinion.

As I said I don't normally post on forums but this time I felt that they deserved it as some people have been really nasty in their reviews and I don't feel it was justified.

Had a really good experience with them overall am very satisfied.

Just some notes:
- when ordering make sure that items that are not marked as fast shipping are not discontinued, cause you will go weeks hoping that you will get you pair of glasses. But not knowing that the glasses that you have ordered are not available anymore. Their website is not updated in this sense. So make sure you contact their customer service before ordering you glasses to make sure they can actually order them for you.
The first time I ordered a pair of raybans rx8582 waited for 3 weeks, I think they really tried hard to get those frames but they have been discontinued and they didn't have those that I wanted in their stock. So finally after 3 weeks I was notified that they were unable to proceed with my order.
They offered me other options and some discounts as well also I was offered refund. So I went with the refund which was really fast. I was refunded the full amount in couple of days.

The second time I found a pair of glasses Versace VE1184, and stuck with their fast shipping options (and am really happy I did so). My order was processed in 2-3 days an I got my glasses in very good conditions couple of weeks later.
I'm not 100% sure of the authenticity of the lenses, but I'm pretty sure that the frames are authentic.

- customer service is really good. They reply really fast and accurately.

- do your research before buying any glasses. Their prices are really good. Retail stores are ripoffs. Can't believe they wanted to charge me twice the price for the same frame and lens.

Overall very happy and no regrets.

I am super happy with my Prada Baroque Sunglasses they are super gorgeous. I initially had a few doubts about the website after reading some dodgy reviews but once I received the sunglasses I am very pleased. They have great customer service, very polite, however their sourcing of the product is slow but once they have got them from the distributor you can expect them within 3 days or so! I had a good experience with this company, the ones I wanted first weren't in stock and neither were my second choice, but my third choice were so about a week later I got them. They arrived in perfect condition no problems, and I got a partial refund for the price difference from my first choice. Great helpful customer service and good deals.

This site had exactly the glasses I was looking, which I couldn't find at Sunglass Hut, Debenhams, John Lewis and even Selfriges in Oxford Street. Cheaper than everyone by more than 30% from the prices I'd seen. I ordered them and they arrived very quickly, and exactly as described. They're a pair of Persol 2720 and I love them. Would highly recommend this site to anyone.

I was attracted to this site because they have the best prices. I was a little skeptical at first, but in the end I was very happy.

It took them 12 business days to secure my item (website says 5-11 days), but once i got the shipping confirmation, the item was at my doorstep in 48hours. Also, their email communication is very fast. I got responses usually within 24hours.
