Edit: The verdict is out and the glasses are genuine! So you will get authentic glasses at reasonable price and fast shipping time. The shipping is fast so long as you make sure your transaction is gone through. I changed the rating accordingly.
I understand the reply from Sunglasses about their operation in Germany and HK, this is all understandable, however they need to be clear about this on their website about their warehouse locations, customers must know where their item is coming from.

I bought a pair of designer glasses from them, thinking they are based in Vancouver canada, but the shipment is from Hong Kong. There is no phone number on their site, which should have been a clue. How could a company not have a phone number for customer service?
I am taking designer glasses to the original manufacturer and testing them for authenticty. Not to jump the gun before the results are out, but if they fail, class action lawsuit will be in order. I will post you with the outcome, be it reassuring or revealing. We need scams out of Canada.
I checked and no emails blocked in my anti-spam box. After 45 days no updates with the status of my order US83xxxxxx43G. The Smartbuyglasses is not dealing with professionalism. How many more emails and complaints I have to post to get my rights? This is a stupid situation.

Be aware, Wrong information is occasionally stated on the website. I bought a sunglasses that was on the website stated as Made in Italy and turned out to be Made on China. They have refunded me the money however still trying to get my return shipping cost as they have promised me to reimburse once they have received the glasses.
My order was flagged for "possible fradulent transaction", I sent the requested documents to confirm my identity and then I asked for the possibility of quicker delivery (I was leaving to go on vacation). The customer service rep, Jerome, replied the same day, got my order processed and even helped to get it expedited. Long story short, I got my glasses today---approx 5 days after I submitted my order. Just a little blurry but so far so good.
I just wanted to say that I really appreciate your efforts in getting this expedited. I am really satisfied with both the service and product thus far and I will definitely be recommending this site to my friends and family.
They offer a much broader range of product, compared to their competitors, and coupled with their service team they are hands down the best out. I'll be sure to share this experience with any of my friends looking to get new eyewear products at competitive pricing and speedy delivery times.
I'm sorry I haven´t read this before I bought my glasses through this website.
It is the same history as many off you, my order was supposed to be flagged up for suspicious transaction and I did what they told, finally I've had my transaction going and now it's been one month since I have no answer from them, they just say that the distributor is sending my order at the end of each week, but sadly, nothing happens.
I thing I cannot do anything more than just complain about it and write this review hoping anyone else will be caught in this trap.
My sunnies arrived in three working days to NZ which was amazing, they are great, the price was awesome and I have told everyone about smartbuyglasses. One very happy customer. No more sunglasses Hutt for me…. Saved $70 off regular retail and definatly seem like the real deal to me.
I was extremely satisfied with the site, the shipping time was less than a week to Mexico, the service was amazing and always fast, the price was the best I could find, everything was great. Keep in mind I have an extreme prescription (-6) so even though they let me know that my order might take a while longer in the end it was quite fast and I am very happy with the results. Took about 4 weeks but glasses arrived as ordered. NOT HAPPY ABOUT THEM COMING FROM HONG KONG - I am a very loyal America Only shopper and feel that I have been mislead - nowhere on the website does it state that we are ordering from an international company. No contact or phone # on website which should have been my first clue - lesson learned - check in the future.
Still waiting for my glasses! Ordered them on the 28/9/13 and it's now the 21/10/13. They still haven't received them from their supplier and they're ignoring all my emails. I'm completely fed up and thankful I ordered through PayPal. I had the same drama with OmniOptics/SelectSpecs and also had to get a refund through PayPal with them. My advice to people buying glasses online. DON'T DO IT! Pay the little bit extra and buy local. Companies like these just rip you off with non-existent Customer Service and you will be waiting you entire life for a pair of glasses you will probably never receive. Always buy through PayPal and get a refund if they burn you like they have with me. Heading to PayPal now to escalate to a claim. Sick of this *BS*. Worst Company ever and right up there with OmniOptics. Going to buy my glasses from Australia like I should have done in the first place. Sunglasses received. Wrapping is nice, but the color of my glasses is just not exactly the same as what's on the site. I was expecting a turquoise glasses frame, but it turned out to be jasper. Whatsoever, it not so conflicting with my newly-bought dress. I just accepted it the way it was. Not that bad though it was not the original color I wanted. But customer service is considerate and patient. Love that. Persundress also left me a deep impression on that. That is the place where I recently got my gorgeous dress. Budget friendly friends, this is a relatively thrifty online glasses store. For other friends, you can reach something better than that.
I ordered my glasses by my credit card. They told me they received the money. Then a few days later, I was told that my address was flagged as a cautionary flag. I was advised to supply extra evidences to demonstrate my address. I did what they asked. Then no response, I ask by e-mail again. They suggested me repaying the bill by Paypal, and they will refund my credit card in 1-2 days. However, after 5 days, I hadn't received my refunds, so I asked again, they replied the money will refund in next 2 days. I just doubt if I can believe them or not. I don't understand they actually received the payment, why they said my address was flagged as a risky place.

I bought these without reading all the horror stories about delayed shipments and poor/non-existent customer service... Which I guess was stupid, but I'm glad I did. I can only speak for myself, but my glasses came in a week and exactly as I'd ordered them. I really couldn't be more pleased.
I ordered frames over two weeks ago now and there is no update with my order after many emails and reaching out to them on Twitter. They have no phone number for customer service and their promise of 24 response time on emails is not true! I don't think I will ever be getting my glasses. So upset and there is nothing I can do about it.

I received my glasses in PERFECT condition, after all payment was cleared due International Bank transactions, they took about 2 days on arriving. I did not know they were coming from Hong Kong, but all arrived in perfect conditions, including a cleaning kit, I LOVE THEM!

Eyes are precious and irreplaceable, so it is highly recommended to have an eye test at least every 2 years to be sure of your own prescription.
