I was very concerned after I placed my order for Ray-Ban glasses to find they were being shipped from Hong Kong. I immediately thought fake and was very worried I had been scammed. Anyway, my glasses arrived superquick (within 3 days of ordering!) and they are perfect and the genuine item. I have carried out all the checks to confirm they are Ray-Bans and they tick all the boxes, so I would say ignore some disgruntled reviews that for some reason have an issue with this company, I would say apart from the useless carrier company who delivered to the wrong address (DHL), these are the real deal and far less than you would pay elsewhere - except for fakes on Ebay.
I ordered a pair of Costas no problem until 2 weeks later when was informed they were out of stock. They were very quick to charge my credit card however it has been several weeks and I am still trying to get a refund. Excuse after excuse. I finally had to dispute the charge with my bank. Still waiting for resolution. Buyer beware!

Doing business with Smartbuyglasses US. It took over 4 months for me to get my glasses. You order online, you get billed only to find out a couple weeks later that the item you want isn't in stock. This happened to me several times until I ended up finally ordering something that was in stock. The website is not up to date does not tell you that something is out of stock. When I finally received my glasses I was happy with the final product but the whole process took way too long and the customer service reps are cold and truly uncaring.

I ordered a pair of Burberry sunglasses through SmartBuy. They were a good price, but the transaction as a whole has been a real pain to deal with. First, SmartBuy advertised that the glasses would be sent the next day and they were not. I did not receive them in time for my vacation. The glasses were sent via FedEx and required a signature upon delivery - there was no possibility to sign a slip asking FedEx to leave them at the door. I actually had to go to a FedEx distribution center to pick up the glasses, because FedEx required an extra fee if I wanted them to come back out. When I opened the box, I found that the glasses case was broken. I emailed SmartBuy to request a new one. They did send a new case, but it took about 6 weeks (!) to arrive, and was not the same as the original case - instead of a sleek leather case, it was bulkier and covered in light colored cloth, which will get dirty easily. My glasses bounce around a lot inside this new case. I have emailed the company again about the case but have not received a response. Next time, I'll save myself the hassle and go to a store.

I received my product fairly quickly (even though I was unable to view tracking information the entire time) but was very frustrated when I was charged a foreign transaction fee for making a purchase through the site. Even though they have offices and never talk about any type of fee if you purchase a product online when you live in the U.S., they still charge you a foreign transaction fee. For that reason of not telling me about it or putting it on the website, I will not be purchasing again from them in the future. Too much hassle.

I bought a Mau jim and recieved the glasses in mail, 100% authentic glasses. I was hesitant to order in the beginning but price was too good to dare. I am happy.
Love my new sunglasses. They are exactly as I ordered. I changed the lens to get a polarized lens, and they are perfect. If you are shipping to Canada be warned you will recieve a bill from fedex a couple weeks later for duties (mine was $15). A bit of a suprise since they said it's free shipping

Once I placed the order, I received a confirmation that the item would be shipped from Hong Kong. I panicked and thought to call and cancel the order but decided to give it a try. In the next few days, I did my due diligence and researched more about the company. I have since lost the link but it appears that the company does have established business relationships with these companies that are associated with these brand name glasses. I would imagine that the products are past season items sold at deep discounts which are then passed on to the consumers without the retail markups. Just IMHO.
Shipment was incredibly fast for coming from HK. I bought a Gucci frame that was exactly what I had hoped for. BTW, the same frame is not sold at any of the retailers or optometrists that I've been to. So again, past season or fake? I don't know...
Overall, I still have misgivings about the company because it's not U.S.-based, but the overall experience was much better than expected.
