I have requested for a peo tv connection and its been two weeks for now no any agent contacted me till i contact them, and when I asked my cash back they still asking me to wait weather they can process it, what the $#*! is that, I dont recommend this $#*!ty company to any one

I think you have recording of all conversations. As a customer of slt, I highly disappointing about your low grading customer service & I would like to recommend a solution for you. To made location transfer more the 3 week no update. From Maradana Colombo 10 regional call several time but no response. If call 1212 more than 8 time during period just ball passing no response. Least customer service organization in Sri Lanka.

They use scammers to sell their products on the road or going house to house.They give you a package and all best solution which afterwards don't work.
Ex our house we payed ******* advance,then lime was put.But the connectivity in our house was worse then all others companies.Cant even received wifi 10 m away in my kitchen only one corner.

Now suddenly it's 1000 Rp more a month and still not working properly.But they don't care.Someone should take them to court actually.Even the agent who came to sell us the product is now lying.Its all a scam never trust never try to get them.I will cancel it again.If ever you do get agent along,make him clearly write a statement and price with his signature.

Recently, I made a call to Slt customer services in Negambo. There, I spoke to a customer service representative called Indeveri. During my query, she did not let me continue with my explanation,interrupted before I end any sentence, Had an extremely rude and unprofessional tone and attitude. How ever many times I tried to explain to her, at some point interrupted her rudeness, she continued with her same attitude. This is about a message I received from Slt asking me to pay for two months payments inspite of the fact that I have already paid, in each month soon after the text message was received. I could not explain to her enough, finally she was able to give me some little insight into the situation, because I continue to pursue with the call. I do not intend to continue with Slt if this is the kind of customer care that the management tolerates. However, there has been other occasions when I spoke to the, upper layer or management they have dealt with me in amazing light and true professionalism. So I do not mean that Slt encompasses this kind of poorly trained customer faces, all round, however as a management you need to deal with this kind of poor conduct and remove them from the public face. Thank you.
We had been continuously complaining on peo TV errors and all solutions are in temporary basis and we need to contact and complain very frequently. Even though we have to be online for hours to contact customer care team
I had requested for a new fiber connection online. They managed to take my application form filled after two requests after that there is no noice from them for almost a month now. Not sure if SLT understands that in this day and age people will not wait for an Internet connection for months like in the olden days when they used to dominate. If the level of service is like this even before you purchase the connection I can imagine the the service once you purchase it. Pls stay away from this ISP
Since they hold the monopoly of the market, they don't care about the quality of the service and the customer service. I have used SLT 4G service for about 4 years and their service is very disappointing. Sometimes the signal strength of the connection is very poor and they disconnect the connection without any reason (the bill is paid and data package is not over). After calling them they increase the signal strength. I think they purposefully reduce the speed of the connection and disconnecting as well. It happens to me more than three times. Even after paying the bill, they say the payment has not been realized. I don't understand why they can't adjust their system to acknowledge online payments in real-time. Even they say "We care always", their service is very annoying and they don't care about customers at all.
Worst customer service ever, i had my router down for a week now and no one came to fix it, everyday i call them and i met their manager and he promised me he will get it fixed as soon as possible but nothing happens, i told them the problem from outside cables but all they do is restore the connection and send me message thats the problem fixed... The Worst experience ever... If there was any other company that have fiber i would never stay with slt for a sec
I have been in Sri Lanka for only a few weeks now on vacation, and we got the unlimited wifi package for 25GB limit a day, unlimited my $#*!, and the download speed has barely crossed 50Mbps and the upload speed is not even 15Mbps. This is the worst internet provider I have ever worked with. I went in person and brought up the issue, and they just keep selling more packages for me to buy and yet nothing has changed. They just want to line their pockets with my money just like the corrupt Sri Lankan government who cheated their people! I would give them zero stars, except the system forces you to give a rating.
They have a very irresponsible customer care. They can't fix our connection problems asap. We have to wait almost half an hour to talk someone in customer care. If I have to call them then the 1st thing I do is reloading 100 rupees to my phone. Connection drops everytime & It'll take long time to reconnect. I don't know what happened but my connection is not working right now I called the customer care they don't answer. Can someone tell me what the hell they are doing now in night besides answering phone calls... $#*!ty SLT
I went to the Kandy slt branch, three ladies they chatting and don't care me. After I asked one of product they have no idea about what I'm asking? Finally I log in to google and show them it (Sri lanka telecom web site)they told me call hot line. Very careless people and bad customer services

I am a software developer, As a developer Fiber connection speed works for me. But downtime service should improve. My fiber connection goes down at 8.30 AM and I informed customer care. They told me that within 2 or 3 hours the technician will come. But now the time is 4.40 PM still no any action for fix connection. Already 8 hrs gone but still no fix. As a country, we can't develop like this. Please improve your customer technical service.
I paid for PEO TV and internet at Kotte teleshop on 22nd July 2022. They attended my work on 18th August 2022 (Nearly after one month). To get this done I had to speak to the engineer in Narahenpita several times on the number the Kotte receptionist gave me. Also, I had to speak to the manager in Kotte.
Just two days after fixing the line, it stopped working again!
Further, the teams who come for repairs are unskilled and irresponsible. The team who came to fix my telephone line, damaged my wall while making a hole with a screwdriver to insert a wall plug ( either they do not have proper tools or they are lazy to do the work :( ). I am extremely disappointed with their services.
I regret selecting SLT for internet, TV and voice calls.
If you don't have a fiber connection just switch to a competitor. Appalling Service.
Never informs if the service is down due to technical/service failures.
Can't fix technical failures on the same day if the breakdown is after 2pm. Sounds like the typical dysfunctional state service. Has been more than 10 days and I am still chasing.
I have few questions, If a customer makes a complaint on a service failures;does the technician who is trying to visit not have;
1.the details of the complaint
2.the location of the site
3.the details of the connection
4.have the courtesy to ask if they are actually home, if it is okay to visit.

A review from 2011 on this site praises SLT.lk's technical support. It is now 2019 and the technical support and customer service could not be worse. If you want to spend hours (literally) of your day on hold being shunted from pillar to post by clueless agents, by all means get SLT.lk as you service provider. Otherwise you should look elsewhere.
My experience with SLT has been really disappointing. They're supposed to help with communication, but it's super hard to get in touch with them. I've tried calling and emailing them lots of times about my connection problems, but they hardly ever answer the phone and when they do, I'm left waiting forever or told to fix things myself.
I'm a busy person, like many others and I can't keep taking time off work to go to their service centers over and over again. Even when I followed their advice and visited the Avissawella SLT section multiple times, they just sent me to Homagama in the end, making things even more frustrating.
It doesn't make sense that a company providing a service can't come to us to fix problems. Instead, they make us run around trying to sort things out ourselves which is really stressful.
Even though I always pay my bills on time, I end up with lots of unused data because of their service problems, which feels unfair.
Overall, I'm really unhappy with the way SLT treats its customers. They don't seem to care about helping us out when we need it most. I'd warn others to think twice before choosing them for their communication needs.

Answer: It is next to impossible. The agents are either lazy or incompetent. They will put you on hold and disappear, apparently to find an answer to your question. Then the phone cuts off. You call again and the same thing happens.
