My family has used Skip for a few weeks now and after two failed experiences where both times the order never actually showed up (skip credits were refunded) and tonight I decided to use the last credits added from poor service. I ordered from a local pizza place that I know has top service and packaging, and waited for my order at my door when I saw they were close. Then I received a text message stating my order was delivered when it wasn't. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt amd took a walk to check my neighbours front steps and did not see my order at all. Then I proceeded to give my feedback on my app…… this is what bothers me the most. The feedback options fall on the restaurant " provide feeedback on the restaurant" ie. Missing items - poor packaging - did not follow directions - other
I have no complaints about the restaurant. There is absolutely no accountability for drivers. There is no transparency, you get a name and that's it. You have no way of actually connecting with the driver. The driver didn't even call me as most would if they had difficulty finding your place. But each time my order did not arrive, no phone call. Drovers are stealing items or clicking time and hours without doing their actual job.
Chat support is a joke, you speak with a bit the entire time.

I work for a restaurant and these ppl are the rudest ppl ever think they can go ahead of everyone else. If they wait for food they walk out without getting food. They lean on our front counter when we need to serve other people we can't because they are right there we have a table set up where they are supposed to stand at. Where do they not understand there is a bad virus going around they shouldn't be leaning on the counter where peoples food go out. And if they wait to long they say we don't get paid for this they are not pizza delivery people it's not free in 30 minutes they still get paid plus tips and sometimes they will yell at us we can't help it if we are waiting on food or under staffed. I had one delivery guy have an order ready and stood there 15 minutes waiting for another order while the other people's food was getting cold now that's just plain rude. I've worked for my restaurant for 30 years and have never served people so rude with no patience. If they don't like waiting they have the wrong job.
Two hours wait still no food, got credit but I can't eat that for supper. Tried again another day and 1 1/2 hours before I got my food, that was the last time, back to Uber eats for me!
Horrible cusotmer service. Jasdeep cheema was particularly unhelpful and horrible. Placed my order and then immediately requested to cancel it I was denied because the girl I got for customer service was super slow, by the time she got to my request the restaurant wouldn't cancel.
I ordered food from skip the dishes and they said that my food was delivered. I did not get my food and when i explained to their customer service line, they explained to me that there was nothing they could do and they could not refund my money or give me a new order because they had receive too many request for refunds. My food said that it was delivered and i did not get it. They have drivers who are stealing peoples food and they dont care about it because they're still getting paid and they dont care about customer satisfaction. WORST COMPANY, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NOT USE THEM
So I had a $10 off email off that they send to you when you don't use their service for long enough and when I went to use it I had to set up my new payment method and then the offer disappeared. (WIthout warning, almost paid full price)
I then contacted support and they could only offer to give me $10 credit after my next order. This would mean that to use the $10 credit, I would have to pay full price for 1 order and then have to order again to use the credit. To me this is unacceptable to pay an extra $10 when the purpose of the email offer was to give me $10 off.
I switched to door dash long ago for customer service and courier reasons and only ever come back to skip when they give me a good offer, even then it proves to be a terrible experience. 0/10.
Edit: the courier issue has been that they simply must not read the delivery directions half the time, not being able to follow simple instructions (ie basement apartment, not upstairs...) To be fair I've had this issue ONCE on door dash and it was solved using the driver/courier communication system they have.
Skip deliver down town and does not notify when its arrived. They give refunds as skip credits when requested for it to be put back on the card. When they do skip credit watch your bank statements. Bought once, refunded by skip credit and not by purchase method, when I look at the statements I was charged 3 times over multiple days of them "trying to sort it out"...and given skip credit once (I.e. Paid three times for an equal value of skip credits...will not accept as they just keep scamming and making charges with out authorization. STOP SKIPPING ON DELIVERY SKIP, AND LEAVE MY CREDIT CARD ALONE WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION. 1 STAR TO SKIP THE DISHES 5 STAR IF THEY WERE HONEST AND CALLED SCAM THE DISHES
Worst customer service ever! Not only did they get my order wrong - but the driver couldn't find my house (very easy to find) and when he called me and I directed him he hung up on me!
When I chatted with support to let them know my order was wrong in multiple ways they refused to refund the delivery and only the additional items that were missing - not the main items - when I tried to explain more they ended the chat and that was that - no more contact.
EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED - will NEVER order from them again!

Skip drivers take forever to pick up order.
If you want speedy service and hot meal, Uber is the way to go.

Skip the dishes delivered to someone else. Then went and delivered it to me after dropping it off at someone else's house. During a pandemic. That should never happen. Never happen.
I ordered this and 60 minutes later, it said it was delivered, but there was nothing. I searched everywhere, and nothing. Even the driver called from unknown number!
I ordered sushi for the new year for me and all my family. The delevery guy made us wait for an hour and he was at the same spot. I texted him countless time and he didnt answer. Then he went to the restaurant and came back to the same place he was for an hour. I called the restaurant and they told me the guy canceled our order by himself. HE DIDNT EVEN TEXTED US and it was for the new year so it was too late for us to go get food somewhere else. This company is disgusting and doesnt respect the client. If I hadn't called the restaurant ill be waiting for 4 hours. What a $#*!ty company i really do not recommend.
I ordered three sandwiches from subway via skip the dishes today. One sandwich is a foot-long when it came it was correct. Another sandwich was a 6 inch it was supposed to be whole wheat bun process cheese cucumber lettuce mayo salt and pepper, however, no banana peppers. Yet there was banana peppers.
The other six inch was whole wheat bun, toasted, shredded Monterey cheddar, pickles, green peppers, onions, lettuce, Mayo salt n pepper. However, instead of shredded Monterey cheddar I got processed cheese.
When contacted support a guy named Akhil was chatting with me and kept insisting I ordered it like that n the orders were correct. As much as I explained it was not correct. I even sent them the confirmation photo or the order placed. He kept saying I ordered them like that which is why it was like that I have no idea what he was looking at because he was not understanding! He then refused to refund and ended the chat saying it was going no where.
He was rude and did not understand or take a minute to understand how I was unsatisfied with my order. Just refused to refund my money although I told him those sandwiches were wasted due to the incorrect items. He refused to accept and ended the chat. Very useless!
No point in asking for reviews or feedback when they refuse to listen.
I have just spent a half an hour on chat regarding my missing order. I use a walker and so cannot readily come to the door so my instructions are for the driver to come to the back door, knock and step inside. This is never an issue for any deliveries I get including several from Skip the Dishes in the past. Tonight the driver ignored those instructions and dumped my order outside the back door which makes it impossible for me to reach it. He/she did not knock, did not ring the doorbell, and did not phone me. Skip doesn't dispute that the instructions are there on the order however they tell me if I can't go out and check to see if its there then there is nothing they can or will do about it. Yes they know I can't do that and that my helper is not here right now. They will NOT instruct their driver to come back and will not refund my money. I'm really having trouble believing that this actually happened and that they actually don't care about the one thing they are paid to do. They do nothing else. They have one job and that is deliveries and they can't manage that and don't seem to care either. Wow, It kind of leaves you with your mouth hanging open in shock. Be careful in dealing with these people as they will not resolve any issues that come up. I had no idea that it was just luck that protected my orders in the past.

I ordered dinner for my son, not only did it take a long time. But they delivered it to the wrong door. Instead of offering to resend it out FOR THEIR MISTAKE, they didn't do ANYTHING.
WORST experience ever, and I DO NOT recommend. They clearly hire people who don't give a rats $#*! about where their delivering and don't pay attention.
I placed an order. I never got it. The driver kept the food and ate it. When I called skip the dishes they said "sorry, we can't help you and we can't refund you"

At the time of placing my order, there was a $15 discount. It took a while for the restaurant to accept the order. Once it was accepted, I looked at the order summary and noticed I was charged the full amount. The discount vanished. I contacted support right away and asked for a credit or cancel the order. I kept on insisting they cancel the order. The rep kept asking me to wait. There were a lot of delays. It wasn't until the order was picked up that I was told it could not be revoked.
They made me feel like a crook. The rep asked me if I took a snapshot of the order before I placed it. Why would I do that? I have never had an issue with other platforms or services where the amount charged doesn't match what I agreed to.
Eventually, I got fed up, and I said I would contact my credit card company to reverse the charges. It was at this point that the rep agreed to give me credit. The credit is on my SkipTheDishes account. Hopefully, I can use it.
$15 is not much money. I insisted on the principal. I don't know if the store changed it or if SkipTheDishes changed it. The rep finally admitted that this happens sometimes.
Try to avoid using this company. If you do, be sure to take a snapshot of the order screen before you place your order and double-check to ensure the order amount is correct.
Got terrible food from a few places, delivery took over 1.5 hours when it clearly said 30 mins. Instead of an apology, the customer service said I had requested refunds too many times (NEVER MIND THAT I NEVER RECEIVED REFUNDS) and because of that they would not process any more orders or refunds. Extremely rude, disgusting and the worst service ever. Skip literally has the worst service, the worst customer service and is terrible. Period.
Honestly, any other service like Foodora, Doordash and Uber eats have better service than this one.
