First of all they use a terrible shipping company with terrible reviews, Loomis (Overall 1 star). My shoes were delivered to the wrong city over an hour away and was even signed for by a random man. I had to reach out multiple times to not only Skechers but also Loomis before I even got a response. After many emails and 3 weeks later of providing proof of the incorrect delivery, the customer affairs representative, Brittany, continued to tell me that it was delivered to my house (regardless of my proof showing otherwise, which is literally through the tracking link THEY provided me) and that she is sorry that I cannot find my shoes. Which in my opinion is insinuating it is my fault. Anyways, I remained without a refund of my almost 200$ and my shoes for almost 2 months. After constantly pushing for my refund and threatening to open a paypal case all she was willing to do was offer to SHIP ME NEW SHOES. So she is expecting me to wait another month to POSSIBLY receive my shoes which is honestly very hard to believe as she wasn't even willing to admit it was a fault on their end or find a reason as to why it was delivered incorrectly the first time. So I am very convinced that if I don't receive my shoes the second time that I am SOL and will not get my refund. Luckily I paid through PayPal and declined their offer so I can pursue a case to receive my refund. From my experience their customer service/affairs team is very uncooperative, unfriendly, and take forever to get back to you. Just avoid this company. So many better shoe brands.

What happened?

I bought this brand, Sketchers because they were very good at marketing their product. Yes, Buyer Beware is a good motto for a reason. I should have read reviews before buying Sketchers. I have had three different tries with Sketchers; and, everything about the shoe is bad for me at this point in my life. They are not good for an older person with Arthritis, for sure. After a few months about 8 weeks the memory foam starts becoming rigid the shoe does not go on and off properly. The shoe over heats because it does not breathe, causing great discomfort. For someone young, teens, twenties, okay, maybe 30's to wear on occasion might be okay. Otherwise, for a senior, I consider it, the worst shoe I ever purchased in my entire lifetime. The Sketcher shoe I purchased is on the higher end of price for Sketchers. I don't want a refund. I just want to warn people (seniors in particular), maybe it works for some people; but, for me it was sheer agony having Sketches on my feet. You couldn't pay me enough money to ever wear this torture chamber of a shoe, ever again. I would give the score of -10 stars if I could. Save yourself a lot of pain and suffering, stay away from Sketches if you have inflamation, arthritis, any toe issues. My feet are much worse after spending time inside the Sketcher Shoes starting in 2022! The last pair that made it into 2023 (this week) are going in the trash. Please do yourself a favor, DO NOT BUY THEM, your feet deserve better. There is lots of information about why Sketchers are bad on social media, I wish I had read the reviews and information from medical people focused on healthy feet. Thanks for your time reading this. May you be blessed with happy, pain free feet; and, good, comfortable shoes!

Buyer beware that Skechers is refusing to post negative reviews on their web site, I contacted them about my review, they ignored the issue and I was provided with their return policy info.
You may return unworn/defective item(s) within 45 days of shipment for a refund if you checked out as a guest. Skechers Plus members will have 90 days to return. Please note, purchases must be made under your Skechers Plus account in order to enjoy the extended return period
At this time, we only accept returns for purchases on Skechers.com. Free return postage applies only to orders within the return period. I will not be paying a penny to return a defective item, that also tells me that the return policy is a scam, how are going to return an unworn item if you are not completely satisfied, really?
How the F___ are you going to know if you are not satisfy with an item that you need to wear and use, especially shoes.

These sandals were purchased on 6/23 and delivered on 6/30, used for 26 days before I left my review which has not been posted it.

When they came out their products were good, now is pure garbage, they are surviving because all the money invested in their commercials using celebrities and sport personalities

There are other brands out there with much better quality, I have tried Orthofeet with a pair of work shoes and their quality is really good,

I bought 2 pairs of sneakers, one of them, I am sure, had the incorrect size on the tag. It was tagged as a 6.5, but I am sure it had to be a 6 or even a 5.5. I could hardly get them on my feet, once I did they were incredibly and painfully tight.
I wear a 6.5 in their sneakers, (I have several pairs), the second pair in the order fit as normal, so it's not like my foot grew. I tried to contact Skechers to ask,
1) would they replace the shoes instead of having to return and rebuy and
2) would they arrange a UPS pick up. My mom was injured and I don't want to leave her alone to take the shoes to UPS.
The agent responded, "we don't do that", never asked what is the defect, never showed empathy. I hung up the phone, emailed Skechers and explained the situation, they have plenty of orders on my account to know that every order is a 6.5 and I don't return anything. I never heard back from them.

I decided to try the chat because I couldn't believe a company wouldn't want to know of a defective product, and a company would at least try to help the customer when an issue is not the customer's fault. I got the same response, "we don't do that, you can call UPS but there is a charge". I explained I am returning something that is defective, not something I decided I don't like. Again, absolutely no interest in what is wrong with the shoes, or my problem. I then asked "how would I go about canceling my account" next thing I know I get a message that says "we have requested cancellation of your account" it may take 24-48 hours to complete.
I didn't ask to cancel my account now, I actually would have preferred to cancel it after my return was received and refunded, so I can track the refund on the account.
I called UPS, paid for the pick up, and I returned both pairs of shoes, if Skechers isn't interested in making a defect right with a customer who repeatedly shops from them, they don't deserve my loyalty or my money. I buy their shoes because they are stylish for casual wear, have great colors, and are comfortable, not for their foot support or stability.
