Payment issues
December 6, 2022

Seems that payment to shopee has issues as they claim it is due to their system. After payment made via online banking via the FPX payment platform and amount deducted from the bank account, the order still indicates Not Paid and still ask to make payment. The you have to wait for 24-48 hrs for them to update and if payment is still unsuccessful, the they will refund to shopee pay wallet which will take another 3 days or to your bank account in another 5 days.

Lost parcel

I ordered something from shopee on 1nov 2022, but on 4 dec 2022 still not received anything, then shopee automatically refund my parcel? Which i don't want to refund, i want my parcel because i've been waiting for a month. I hate shopee

A bunch of moron that cause shopee from good to worse. Their dispute agent didn't even read messages just cut and paste. Some of them can't even understand simple English. When video of evidence provided, yet still ask fro evidence and close case your care even evidence show clearly it faulty. Avoid shopee as I'm a shopee seller aslo I stop selling at shopee.

They have a very dishonest practice by delaying the refund for the non-delivery of products within the timeframe. They will give a lot of excuses to reject your refund.

Boycott shopee
November 17, 2022

Had the most horrendous experience with Shopee express courier today.Delivery man attempted to throw parcels and boxes over the gate.When I saw him upon returning home,I stopped him immediately.He then proceeded with yell at me saying I should stay home to wait for the parcels.It is not his duty to call my handphone to inform me of the delivery.If not at home then he can handle the parcels however he pleases as he is not scared of anyone as he has worked at Shopee for the past 7years.He then got angry and decided to stop his car outside my gate and refuse to let me drive into my house taking all the parcels in his car and walking to all the other houses to hand deliver them.I had to lodge a police report and ask security in my area to prohibit him from entering my Taman.I thought ppl hire thugs to collect money.Since when did ppl hire thugs to deliver parcels after collecting money

Bought grass cutter with 5 years warranty from Shopee. After about 1 month, the grass cutter is not working and chat with the supplier about the warranty as advertised in shopee. However, the supplier said since I gave 2 stars review, there is no warranty! Submitted complaint to Shopee that they will investigate & reply in 3 days. However, I didn't receive any reply from them. Bad service & no feedback.

1. Well, it took ages to get the refund from a broken item sent to me.
2. Another items got delayed, blaming covid
3. I wanted to cancel item I need for travel cause it says will arrive after I leave. The items hasn't been dispatched when I tried to cancel, and only dispatched 24 hours after my request… they refused to cancelled, instead I can reject the items - just wanted to delayed the refund, again- similar to the number 1 above …
Conclusion: Shopee doesn't protect customers interest whatsoever… very unprofessional!

I have ordered gas stove on 10/10/2022, until 21st of October the parcel not receive yet. Few times I have complain at Shopee Customer Service but no news at all. Finally I have to cancell my order till now pending for approve. Posble don't select Shopee express. Extremely poor service

Barang order 10/10 dah salah ke kuantan 13/10 sepatutnya ke kedah tapi sampai sekrang masin di hub kuantan, orang hub kuantan tu tak buat kerja ke? Mkn gaji bute ke? Tak rasa besalah lagsung shopee nii dah slh hntar tkde tindakan untuk hantar blik ke tempat betul. Report berape kali dah, pihak kami dah semak parcel cik kami akn pecepatkan proses tapi duduk tempat sama hahha jirr la shopee nii.

Better stay away from shoppee. Even they give you a really cheap and reasonable price but you need to wait for up a month to get your item.
Not to mentioned you pay for delivery but you cant even choice the courier you want. Automatically will be shoppee express.
The customer service will always apologize and say no worry. Then your parcel lost. And a lot procedure need to be done in order to get the your refund.

Really not recommended

It's all good if you are lucky with your purchases, otherwise you are on your own with the damaged items/ wrong items. Shopee will leave you to deal with the seller. All sellers are defensive and reject your return & refund or offer a few dollars to encourage to keep all the items.

In the event of return & refund, Shopee allows 3 days including weekend to return the item, otherwise the case is cancelled. As such, if you don't return on Sunday, you are on you own.

Product rating is managed by seller, sellers are allowed to off your bad product review! When I report it to Shopee customer service (Suganty), she told me to question the seller directly. Seriously?! In this case, new buyer will never get to see genuine feedbacks from buyers.

Shopee customer service (Suganty) is not helpful and sounds frustrated.

After all, Shopee is only benefit sellers in order to make ton of money to fund their marketing campaigns such as paying Jackie Chan!

Shopee is not a trustworthy shopping platform. It's unprofessional and a scammer.

I seldom buy from shopee because of low quality sellers, price, return policy, etc.

Lately i was offered a voucher so I bought a screen protector. Look at the picture i shared, the item has reached the delivery hub Damansara nearby my delivery address but next thing u see it has gone to another delivery hub in Pasir Gudang and it showed delivery unsuccessful.

Of course cannot deliver in Pasir Gudang because my address is in Damansara, u idiot.

Wasting time buying from shopee. It is the worst online shopping platform.

Shopee has been losing money year after year since 2015 and is running out of investors and operating capital.
Shopee's parent company Sea Ltd has lost more than 83% of its share value since October 2021 (Stock price of $370 in Oct. 2021 and $60 in Oct. 2022).
Shopee has laid off many employees recently.
Now they are resorting to charging some sellers extra commission fee without notifying them and randomly banning sellers and buyers account and holding the money in their accounts.
Read on:
Our selling account at Shopee platform was suspended abruptly for the reason of selling from cross border region.
We have called and emailed Shopee to reconsider their decision because we have never operated from cross border region.
They insisted on keeping our account suspended and holding our funds (the payments for products which we sold).
They have left us no choice but to seek legal action.
Have you had your account banned or restricted by Shopee?
We are collecting a list of sellers or buyers whose accounts have been restricted or banned by Shopee.

Bad shopee customer service

I hate that there's 1-5 stars but no zero, shopee doesn't even deserve a star.
I called multiple shopee agents for my refunds, 1st was my problem as it was my first time having order problems, so i called the 2nd agent, they just dropped my call; called the 3rd one, halfway talking--dropped the call; today, the 4th one, (when you call shopee helpline they will tell you to activate your shopee pay account IF you pay by retail store) ok, activated my shopee pay account, then the agent said that he can't give me my refund through shopee pay account, but must put my bank account like? I tried to ask him why but he just dropped my call. It's so hard to believe last time, but now if you said shopee was a scam i'd 100% agree with you.
Like, after paying RM200+ for my orders, shopee website crashed? And they didnt at least explain why it happened so i had to pay at the retail store. Worst, after the 1st agent went through my shopee account, he deleted my refund notification, it's like he didn't want me to get my refund. Idk whats happening but shoppe gotta hire some more reliable and trusted agents

1. Seller sometimes does not specifically mentioned about the product.
2. Buyer review are irrelevant to the product they purchased

A defective Coffee maker was sold to me by Shopee and despite 2 months of frustration and communications and sending detailed videos of the defective product they have refused to accept my compliant. After several emails they offered me a refund of 30% of the purchase price as a gesture - this is ridiculous. When a product is not working what good will it do to the customer to return 30% of purchase price.
I have never had such a bad experience with any online shopping that i have done in the last 6 years. Lazada and Amazon are very professional and ethical in handling compliants. Shopee seems to want to frustrate customers when they complain and Shopee hopes that the customer will just forget about the complaint - very unfortunate experience for me. Please be careful when you buy on Shopee platform.
