Hello all, I am the Maid of Honor in my best friends wedding and ordered my dress from here as I was told to. Well, my fear came true...$150.00 later. I placed my measurement as stated (I went to an alterations specialist and got my measurements done) I ordered my dress and all was great until the top 1 1/2" would not zip. This was without a bra. I emailed Shirley's Dress support team and was told since I did custom measurements it was my problem. The measurement for the bust was wrong on their end, but still my problem even though their policy states if the measurement is wrong on their end they would fix. That is all I wanted... well needless to say it did not happen! Now MORE $$$$ to get a alterations done. Frustrated! Then another briodesmaid ordered her dress not using custom measurement so she could return if it wasn't right. Well the dress comes down past her calves and way to big. So she emailed customer support and was told to sell it on Craigslist that is what other customers have done! Other customers have done? Probably because they had similar issues. The fabric was nice but if it doesn't fit or too long etc. you are screwed or paying more. I should have just went to a bridal store and spent the $200 - $250 and still came out the same with less hassle! Be careful and if you are on a budget this is NOT the site for you. Truly unprofessional! Please do not get this confused with their Customer Service telephone number for the USA - pre sale orders as they are really nice but once that dress is ordered you don't deal with them anymore - only overseas and via email! Best of luck!

Let me start by saying... I love my 3 dresses I just received from Shirley's Dress. Just like many, I was very apprehensive about ordering bridesmaides dresses online, especially after reading some of the reviews. But I couldn't beat the price, so I went for it. I am so glad I followed my gut. The dresses are absolutely gorgeous! The quality is simply amazing! I promise the quality of the dresses are the same if not better than what you would buy at higher end bridal stores. I am so thrilled with my purchase. I feel like I scored big time. I paid about $70 per dress, and they are worth about $170. They all arrived perfect, and super fast! I am so impressed with this transaction, that I just ordered my bridal gown from them. I can't wait to get it!

Me and two other friends went to buy bridesmaid dresses from this site, and they had exactly what we wanted. After ordering our dresses and paying for them + $40 shipping we were each sent emails saying that the colour or size wasn't available and asked if we would like a refund. We all asked for the refund. My two other friends got there refund after a week, and I still don't have my money back! I send them emails everyday about it, it has now been 3 weeks! They never get back to me about the issue, and when they do they just ask me to be patient and to wait a few more days!
This is ridiculous, I feel like I've been scammed and cheated, and now I can't buy my bridesmaid dress until I save up the money to do so. Very disappointed!

Let me talk a little bit about the experience that I had with shirleys dress… I was shopping for bridesmaids dresses for my wedding. I liked these pretty strapless dresses that they had so I went ahead and ordered 5 of them, all with different measurements for each of my bridesmaids… I did this with a little doubt but they managed to surpass every last one of my expectations. They showed up at my doorstep fast and they all were tailored perfectly. I couldn't believe it but boy was I happy! In addition, the dresses themselves were gorgeous and no one could believe that we got them online, they were just so pretty and extremely well-made. I can easily say that never will I EVER shop online anywhere else besides this site! I have never received such phenomenal customer service, I really wish that I wish I would of found them sooner. It would of saved me a lot of previous stress.

Very pleased with the quality of the dress, the lace was very beautiful and the boning of the dress was very well done. My seamstress was very impressed that I got it from China! The dress looks like 90% of what is on the website.

If I were you I would order a dress at least two sizes up and plan on having seamstress take it in. I ordered a dress one size up and it still came in a size too small. That was ok, because I was losing weight and the seamstress installed a corset kit (Laceeis Corset Kit) back so it fit my body really well.

First of all for those that complain, you are getting a knock off dress off the internet. The dress won't look 100% like the pictures, but it had everything I wanted. Lace, Mermaid, and quarter length sleeves for $150.00! Everything in the bridal stores similar was at least $1000. 00.

Keep an open mind, you can always go to a seamstress! When my dress came, the neckline was like a turtleneck and it came with an ugly white sash sewn in. I had my seamstress turn the neckline into a V-neck and take off the white sash and replace it with a sparkle belt. Also, I added a mermaid slip for that extra wow factor ( Attached for your review is the dress that came, what it was suppose to look like, and the before and after).

Total cost of the dress was $350.00 with alterations and it was my DREAM DRESS. My dress was my favorite part of my wedding, besides my husband :)

I ordered 4 bridesmaid dresses from this site, and was amazed at the speed that they were delivered. The sizes were perfect and the dresses were beautiful. The girls looked stunning in those dresses. The workmanship and the embellishments were so good. The best part about the dresses was that we didn't have to spend a fortune buying them. They were priced very reasonable. I wish I had found this site earlier for my other wedding shopping, I would have saved so much money and time. But now, I have decided that I will shop for my dresses and accessasories from shirleydress.com only.

So I'm getting married in March., yeay! And I started searching everywhere for kind of dresses and I stumbled into Shirley's dress and had the hardest time trying pick just one dress, they all look so perfect and beautiful so finally made my decision and I decided to take a risk and order my dress online, without trying it on and not sure how it will be but I went for it...
So after not even a month i got the package! So I was kinda afraid to open it kinda thinking such a beautiful dress and really great price there must be a catch, so I took a deep breath open it and I was so amazed! Ladies the dress was soooooo perfect! It fit like a glove it has soo many details is just perfect! So if you're thinking about it go for it! Make sure you measure yourself really well and do it you will not regret it! I am in love with my dress!

I bought this dress on my husband's account for myself. I never expected it to be too good when I got it because there were some bad reviews and I was so worried... I am writing this review for anyone who may be worried about shirleys... Order my own size. 16... It fits me PERFECT! The dress is a little past ankle length and I also got a free petti-coat from shirleysdress to make it big and it makes me look amazing! If you need a dress, this is the "pin up" look for you.
The dress is also nice enough to some formals.
It's absolutely one of the best purchases I have ever made online! I am going to look into the rest of their dresses to see if I can have something else! Oh, the chest area also fits me good :) If you're still considering buying this, just do it!
