Hello all, I am the Maid of Honor in my best friends wedding and ordered my dress from here as I was told to. Well, my fear came true...$150.00 later. I placed my measurement as stated (I went to an alterations specialist and got my measurements done) I ordered my dress and all was great until the top 1 1/2" would not zip. This was without a bra. I emailed Shirley's Dress support team and was told since I did custom measurements it was my problem. The measurement for the bust was wrong on their end, but still my problem even though their policy states if the measurement is wrong on their end they would fix. That is all I wanted... well needless to say it did not happen! Now MORE $$$$ to get a alterations done. Frustrated! Then another briodesmaid ordered her dress not using custom measurement so she could return if it wasn't right. Well the dress comes down past her calves and way to big. So she emailed customer support and was told to sell it on Craigslist that is what other customers have done! Other customers have done? Probably because they had similar issues. The fabric was nice but if it doesn't fit or too long etc. you are screwed or paying more. I should have just went to a bridal store and spent the $200 - $250 and still came out the same with less hassle! Be careful and if you are on a budget this is NOT the site for you. Truly unprofessional! Please do not get this confused with their Customer Service telephone number for the USA - pre sale orders as they are really nice but once that dress is ordered you don't deal with them anymore - only overseas and via email!
