Total waste of time and money, items ordered in march, customer service said it was in transit but nothing has arrived nearly 5 months later!
Do not buy from them I have no idea how they can get away with it!

Most important they do not refund, only credit notes!
Next most important the customer pays the return postage, from the uk that was £14.90 which was only a pound less than the item cost!
Next important point is it doesn't matter how polite they make their customer service emails they don't answer any questions or resolve anything!
Lastly their sizing is inconsistent so you can't guarantee you won't have to send anything back (see point about cost!) and after 2 wears the joggers we kept developed weird lines on the material so now don't look as nice so quality is an issue.
I'm getting nowhere with Shekou and won't chose to shop there again.
Oh yes and you wait months for these items in the first place
You have been warned!

6+ months, still no order

I do not recommend buying from Shekou online.
I ordered in March and still have not received anything (now October). I contacted customer service at numerous points during this process and was given a new timeframe every time, which was never met. I have since requested a refund as the shipping information they provided me with has not been updated in months and just says it is available to be sent, but received a generic response regarding shipping delays, ignoring my request.
Honestly not worth the hassle especially considering it is just another fast fashion brand. I wish I did more research prior to purchasing.

I'll try not to make this to long and to only cover the main factors that I look for when buying clothes online

1. Price. Very cheap, one do the cheapest brands out there. A similar price to shein

2. Quality. Surprisingly very high, especially when you consider our cheap it is

3. Sizing. True to size, unless they tell you to size up then I have been able to buy my normal size

SHEKOU Review

Shekou is a New-Zealand based "Instagram trendy" store that sells a lot of on-trend female clothing. Although they don't have a huge selection of clothes, all of their clothing designs are super cute and flirty. If I could give 0 stars I would. After ordering from them in May, over 6 months ago now, I have yet to receive my package or hear back about my request for a refund. I don't think they ever had any intention of sending me my package. Spend your money elsewhere.

Just thought I'd share how a managed to get a refund back from this terrible business after almost a year from placing my pre-order. Although their "pre-order policy" claimed that they did not issue refunds (which by the way is no longer anywhere on their site...), it is illegal for business to deny a request for refund if they have failed to actually provide the service in the first place. I.e they can only deny refund for change of minds, but cannot deny refunds if they haven't even sent you the clothes at all. This is highlighted under the Australian and New Zealander consumer laws.

After many back and forth emails, I just told them that my lawyer and I would like a copy of their "pre-order policy" since it was gone from the site, and re-iterated the information above. They sent me a refund the next day. Hope this helps!

I purchased clothes almost a year ago and have yet to receive them. When I asked for help, NOTHING. Waste of money and energy spent trying to get anything back. They are a bad business. I only hope others stop buying from them so they can have a dose of well-deserved karma.

Horrible- Does Not Send Order

My daughter ordered from this company in August, 2022, and as of now in December, has still not received her order nor have they respond to any attempt to contact them regarding the situation. Do not order from this company because you will basically be donating to them. $166 basically thrown away.

We ordered goods many months ago and when we seek information on where they are told we should have chosen express shipping! Come on - waiting 5+ months for some clothes is not reasonable. Finally shipping details supplied and they show that a package was sent from China but has had no status update for more than 2 months but we are constantly told it should arrive any day! No refund and no interest policy from customer service. These people are thieves.

Non delivery

Ordered clothes for my granddaughter in April 2022, never received them despite emailing them for months & is now January 2023. Each time was given apologies & told they will be shipped but they never were. Asked for tracking number but was never given this either. Terrible customer service & took my money but never got my order. They don't deserve even a one star. Never buying from them again & would recommend everyone stay clear of this under handed deceitful company.

Scam Company - They don't deliver

Six months and still nothing, I am told there might be delays due to COVID, and my parcel is ready to go; they need to have it collected. Total scammers and no refund policy. What a joke and how is this even legal? Save your money and time; go somewhere else. I mean, they offered me a store credit? Why would I take credit to spend it on something else which I know will never be sent?

I placed my order July, 2022 for my vacation and ordered express shipping to ensure it would come. Soon a month passed, then five, then a year passed. I emailed them tons of times with them replying it'll come soon theres just some delays. A year is pathetic and I wouldn't recommend this brand to anybody. My status on shop.com says they don't have an order number. This shop is terrible and a scam. I'm out over $60 now. Don't buy from them.

I order in august of 2022, I spent around $80 on that order that I have NEVER gotten. I tried emailing them a few times to see what was going on after 3 weeks of waiting for an update and they didn't even give me an answer. I emailed over the months and just till about now in august of 2023 I will try to email and THEY DONT RESPOND. I'm not sure if people are having the same problem as me but it's just annoying I keep trying to email but they won't respond. DONT SPEND MONEY HERE ITS A SCAM! If I could then a 0 I would.

Found this company on TikTok after it said it had a 50% off deal. Bought some swimsuits and two going out tops on January of 2022. They said the items pre-order (4-6 weeks). I also got charged for a international processing fee that I was unaware of. Three months later I had no tracking number. I emailed them, and they said they were having problems with the supply chain. A couple weeks later I asked to get my order or for them to give me a refund. They said they cannot give me a refund because of the terms and conditions. Emailed them again in July and they said they were waiting for one of my tops to be restocked. They refunded the single item. January of 2023, I still have not received my order and email them saying it had been a year and that I deserve a refund. They respond stating they can give me store credit but no refund and apologize as they were getting a influx of orders as their staff had been away on holiday. In September of 2023 I am surprised to have received the package and it is smelly. The top that I got was super light in its printing and low quality. The bathing suits were sized strangely and were poor quality that if you moved an inch you may expose yourself. Surprised they responded to my emails and that I got the package, surprised the company still exists 0/10

SCAM! DO NOT BUY.

SCAM! Please do not buy from this store it is so incredibly illegal. I bought a $60 set 6 MONTHS ago. I got a message 2 weeks later saying it was "shipped" (after I emailed them asking for an update) and then they would not reply to the rest of my emails. I've gotten no response other then a computer generated message saying "reply rate are around 5-10 BUSINESS DAYS" AND another computer generated message later saying "they are experiencing delays". There are NO valid reason for these "delays" and I don't expect to ever receive this set unfortunately. They refuse refunds and have just stolen money. I'm praying someone does some legal action towards them because this is a joke. Do not give your money away to these people. All of these 5 star ratings are computer generated or they are being paid to write these reviews because they are all lies. Please don't be gullible and buy from these frauds.

Avoid! Scam!

Disgusting company. Ordered in March 2022 and still not received. Don't respond and don't offer refunds. In June A2022 they said my order has been shipped, in August they said it was back to being manufactured, how does that make any sense? Have been emailing them frequently asking for an explanation and only get automated emails back or the offer for free earrings - which didn't answer my questions.

Can't reply to emails but can be sat on tiktok working to scam more people! Also don't post their phone number so you cannot report them to trading standards (UK).

Keep your hard earned money and don't waste your time on such a poor company.

Never shipped even though customer service told me my order was ready to be sent and never received items.
Been waiting months - way past estimated time.
(For reference: Ordered items shipping from China on the same date as ordering from Shekou and came in 1 week - no shipping/courier issues.)

Using "problems with courier" as an excuse not to send items.

Fake followers on their social media accounts.

Cannot get refund. SCAM.
