Absolutely terrible company. Booked and paid in advance for an MOT and service. Then we received a phone call asking for another £269. Then they started with a hard sell trying to get us to pay for even more work. In the end we paid the £269 as we needed our car back. It got to 5pm and still no car. When the garage that had been given the job by servicing stop returned our car, the owner was very upset. Servicing stop was refusing to pay the garage for the work and she also confirmed the £269 extra charge was not for the work that they had done. Unable to get through to anyone on the phone to complain. Do not take your car to service stop and do not work with service stop. Company's like this shouldn't be allowed to trade.
I can only image that any good review you see for this company are fake.

I really regret that I had not read the reviews first! Booked for a full service £119.00 then they called me to said that I have to change this and that but I insisted I only wanted the full services. They would not take no for answer and still changed me £379.20. I couldn't do anything as they had my car. I was still at work and my wife was working at home. The guy who brought the car back was very rude and scared my wife where she had to threaten to call 999. I'm still waiting for the breakdown bill to find out why they over changed me.

Took an old very low mileage ford ka in for a service and MOT.
I had to take it there, as missed the call and couldn't return the call. A voicemail said they will call again, but they didn't. So I finished off dropping it off.

Passed the MOT without any problems. Had a call from Service Stop saying I needed specialist oil, which a 17 year old car doesn't! Only eight valves and no turbo. Then they wanted to replace the brake fluid and antifreeze. My local garage charged me £39 to replace brake fluid. They wanted £80 to replace the brake fluid! The best of all, my car has an old fashioned fan belt (alternator belt). Not a timing belt! Quoted just short of £200! LOL. I can pick one up for £12.99. This company is relying on the customer not having a clue and agreeing to anything. Quite simply, they hook you with a cheap service and then sting you for any remedial work.

Therefore, take advantage of the cheap service and MOT, but whatever, do not let them carry out any additional work.

They hiked up the prise four fold, then held my car to ransom until I paid up, horrendous communication, Dont become one of their many victims, just avoid please people, if you've paid a deposit contact your Bank/Credit card company and ask them to retrieve it for you, they will help you.

AVOID like the plague

Booked in for an MOT and service and paid up front as offered a discount.

No show yesterday to collect the car, no contact from them either.

Rang the garage who basically said it's not them who collect so they couldn't help but... I was the 3rd person that week.

Rang service stop - no answer for 60 mins

Emailed them but no response

Will have to do a chargeback on my card but will have to wait 30 days before the bank will action.

As above avoid this company

Please, please, please do yourself a favour and do not use this company! You will not be saving money! You will pay way over the odds for any parts and when you pay for a full service you will not get that unless you pay extra for filters etc! I paid about £130ish for a full service and MOT, my total bill came to £426! Take heed, you will regret using them. The do not reply to emails and do not answer phone calls! The garage they use will not have your contact details, it is all done through servicing stop! They did not return my car the same day, i had no idea where it was and I've got to the point on day 2 of almost reporting my car stolen! Fortunately i managed to get through to the garage before doing so! The garage stated they would have charged me over £200 less if I'd have gone direct through them! DO NOT USE servicing stop!

NOT TO USE THIS COMPANY

I WOULD SUGGEST NOT TO USE THIS COMPANY even though they give very cheap initial quote for MOT and Servicing. Call centre person mentioning himself as service advisor named Josh K called and was talking very arrogantly. Also was very much pushing to get extras which I clearly denied. But Josh was not ready to listen and told me abusively saying "you do not understand and you are not a mechanic, etc" also asked me picking my car myself from the garage and not going to do any work, etc. Finally when I still did not agree to accept additional work and charges, he disconnected the call. This is very abusive and not accepted. Forced me to get specialist oil in the car even though I denied multiple times. I ended up paying for it as I needed car done and back. All in all very bad impression and will never recommend irrespective of how nice initial deal seems.

Scumbags

Absolute bunch of scumbags,

Tried to reel off a list of non existent faults on my 8 year old 3 series BMW that had just had a 128 point AA check done & confirmed in immaculate condition,

Tried to tell me I couldn't have my car back if I didn't pay for an oil change and disposal of fluids when it had just been done less than 1000 miles ago.

This company need trading standards all over them absolute con artists,

Funny I didn't end up paying a penny and got my car back.

Hung up on me when I told them I wanted to know where my car is as I was going to collect it.

Filthy robbers preying on people.

At first I thought I had a good deal booking with them. Then they call me to say that I needed to pay for a Special Oil for which I said I did not wanted but I had no choice (Long lasting oil, that is supposed to hold at least until your next Service) Therfore Oil £29.99 + £9.59 for environmental surcharge + £7.19 for fluid top up total £46.76 for which I had no choice but to pay if I wanted my car released!
Anyway when booking there system should tell you if your car needs special oil. It's all marketing and Priced to mislead you. WHATCH OUT!

On 20th May 2021, I called servicing stop to do my annual full service and MOT on my car. I nearly had a heart attack when I received the call from them quoting £972.43 for all the so called work done to my car. Since May my car has been back to the garage 4 times, for work which should of been completed if I had a full service done as quoted. I tried to contact the so customer service team, which wasn't helpful at all. You email them they take 5-10 working days to reply really what bull$#*! is that? They lack in empathy and the customer service is zero to none when you speak to them on the phone. They are the worst company that could have ever been built. They should of stayed in Dragons Den and the person who invested in them should be a shamed of themselves. If you're car needs work use any other company apart from this one. It's weird because I wrote a review on their personal website but it's not there! All the reviews are 4/5stars which I know are all lies or fake!

Most unreliable service I've ever seen. Booked my MOT for last week with collection. They called me to rebook it for another day, I agreed. Next time they didn't even call me at all, just not turn up. Then rebooked after I called... Next week they took my car and made me an unrealistic qoute for £1000! I asked others in the area and they quoted me half of it with urgent service.
I asked them to bring my car back (still had to pay for their "service") and they declined, just told that they will bring it back at the end of the day. Without any reason.
Last year they also quoted me 3 times then the normal price and didn't get my car back even on the same day. I had to call the police and only get my car back another day. Without my permission or even call me to explain.
To get the details of the garage and the supervisory body's contact details took me hours! The customer service is just a parrot, repeats the same sentences, never answer to my questions.

Car taken away at 8.00am and I can see it was driven 59 miles to a garage in Rugby for a basic service but was not returned till midday the next day so I was without my car for work You can't reathem by phone and they ignore emails
Charged me extra £171 for a £12 pollen filter total rip off Rogue Traders avoid at all costs
Ps whilst my car was away they left another customers car in my drive!

Servicing Stop quotes and advertising are VERY misleading. I was quoted £145 for a service & MoT on a Ford B-max. This was confirmed over the phone as "the total, final price" by the woman who called me 2 days before my service & MoT expiry (to tell me they couldn't do it on the date I had booked 4 weeks before). Apparently the B-Max uses "special" oil, so £25 was added to the bill. Why wasn't this known about when I was quoted originally? They knew my registration so could have added this figure into the quote. Their headline figure also doesn't include an "environmental surcharge fee", so my quote of £145 became a final bill of £192. That feels dishonest to me. My car required nothing beyond the service and MoT, yet the final bill was over 30% more expensive! Whilst they had my car the also tried to sell me other things it didn't need, so all-in-all I'm very dissatisfied! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. My local Ford dealership would have been about the same cost.

I booked a servicing 2 weeks ago and paid up front for the vehicle to be collected this morning between 8am and 10am. I took time off work for this. Vehicle had still not been collected by 11.15 I tried to call to be advised you need to go online chat to contact them so I did to be advised that the service had been cancelled yesterday because they didn't have a garage in my area to carry it out. They advised I had been contacted and left a message. I didn't have any such message left. I have now been told that it will take between 7 and 14 days for to be given a refund. Not acceptable at all! So as well as taking a days holiday I am now out of pocket for another 2 weeks.

First they cancelled my service less than 24 hours before and re booked 3 days later … you can't speak to anyone just get a chat box. When my MOT was done an extremely rude man called Gary called to tell me I needed £500 of work, but I soon realised that my car had passed MOT so it did not need it, it was advised … but prices extortionate. Then car couldn't be released by garage as they hadn't confirmed I paid … I was waiting for the chat box for half the afternoon and then Kayla was abrupt didn't even sign off … she was the only point of contact… seriously worst company ever… pls think twice before going near them

Car was picked up and dropped off on time which is what the one star is for as it was down hill from there on. I received a call from a London number a little while later and Dean read out a list of extra things that needed doing totalling £870. I queried why some things were so expensive eg new front brake pads £280 when I had been quoted £112 by National Tyres, but didn't really get a straight answer. Was made to feel that I would not get my car back until the work was done and paid for. To add insult to injury, after my car was returned I received a phone call from the London number( I live in Bedfordshire) trying to get me to sign up to their premium scheme(scam) which for £15 a month my next service would be much cheaper. He said had I been a member today I would only have paid roughly half of what I did. I told him that I was not interested as I felt that some of the costs today were extortionate and that some of the jobs didn't even need doing. He ended the call saying he would call me again Monday in case I had changed my mind about the premium plan. I told him not to bother but he insisted he is going to call. Won't be answering my phone! Won't be using the company ever again. I feel stupid for not having read any reviews before I used them.

This is the first time doing business with them and it is the last time as well. Ridiculously overpriced to fix a small problem. Ask for £700 to change one coil spring of a Honda Jazz which cost £54 from eurocarparts. Also missed the delivery time without any contact. Also the car seems having extra problem with the brake after they refilled the brake fiuild and now I have to spend extra money to ask other garage ro check it again. TOTALLY NOT RECOMMENDED.

Phone service stop £101 88p they pick my car up. The man said service stop will phone you any problems. They phone me about 2am said they are doing the service. Price is £555, I said I'm paid up front £101.88p they said no the service is a extra £555 I had to pay to get my car back. In the end I paid. 30 mins later they phone again said the warning light what was on needed doing a extra £425 I was pissed of about this. They said my car would be excellent after the work., I wanted my car back so I had to paid. Best thing to man come with my car said the lights come on again, you still got the problem. It will be more work to do. I was that pissed off told him to do one. I phone service stop they wouldn't pick you phone up after 45 mins, I email them but no reply big rip off. Don't go with this company save your money

Absolutely the worst customer service. No one came to collect my car and it took 40 minutes waiting on the phone for my call to be answered by Servicing Stop. They said the garage allocated couldn't collect today and to rebook. Not a chance was I wasting another day waiting for no one. I asked why I hadn't been called to tell me they couldn't come and she just said it was "unfortunate". They wouldn't tell me which garage it was so I could avoid them when booking directly with garages in my area. Do not use!
