No need to feel stupid... I had to cough up £1544. 99 for an mot and a 40thousand mile service before They would return my car. I don't think I'll get any refund but have taken great pleasure in reporting them to Trading Standards, my credit card company, my bank, my neighbours, my relations and others and anyone who wants to listen. If I can think of anybody else that will stop them doing this to others I'll gladly report to them as well.
