Servicing Stop

Use ANYONE but these guys for your servicing needs. They seem cheap, but hit you with all the extras in the small print.
They say no work will be done until approved, but that isnt the case. They apparently had to use special oil fro my pickup, and only informed me when it was time to pay. They then threatened to not release the vehicle from the garage unless I paid. Instead of the £108 quoted with all my vehicle details. It end up being an additional £55. On top of that Eugene was extremely rude and unhelpful, and I suspect deliberately had my vehicle delivered late. I waited outside work until just before 7pm before taking on my hour journey home.
I received no garage paperwork or check sheets for the service, only a computer generated invoice from the head office. I have no faith that I even have new oil in the car.
Dont waste your time or your money!

Avoid this company. They have charged me £2k which I had to pay before I could get the car returned. Car still has the same problems as before, which they supposedly 'fixed' and charged a fortune. They collected my car and took it to a garage 50 miles away so popping back in is not an option.

Avoid at all cost. On more than one occasion we have tried to book a service with this company and its not happened. They falsely claim they will collect the car and drop it off, NO THEY DONT.on three occasions we have been told they are unable to collect the car and told us to take it ourselves with no money deducted to do so! They are initially charging you for that service ONE BIG CON take these people to court they should not get away with false advertisement

BE WARNED. By using servicingstop to have your cars repaired you are guaranteed to be ripped off because its part of their business model. Just to give you an idea by how much, a service job plus MOT that would normally cost around £220.00 plus VAT cost over £500.00 plus vat. If you go with them the contract is between you and servicestop and servicestop contract with the garage servicing/repairing your car. They then more than double the price to you. I can understand adding a reasonable margin of say 10-20 percent but more than 100 percent is just extortion. I learned my lesson the hard way and hope you will be far more savvy than me. I made my thoughts very clear to them and if not for that the final invoice would have been even higher.

Don't use them.
I had my car for a full service but start a nightmare when I booked with them.
My car was hold for 5 days just for a simple service.
Never updated me why is keep so long.
Always must call for updates and also to expensive for nothing.

If you ever succeed in cheating someone, you need to know that the person was not a fool; rather the individual has trusted you so much that you could do it. At times, you may cheat others but when you do so, you should have the potential to understand that he or she was not a fool, but that person has trusted you enough, such that you could take undue advantage of it.

I received very disappointing customer service care, my car service was not thoroughly done after paying in full. Had to take it elsewhere to know a lot was not done on my car. I would not recommend this company to any one….

I was quoted for a full service £150 all inclusive.
Then I received a call from the garage to change the £120
Change filter £85
Change break fluid £70. Etc
I was told £150 is for just to carry out checks on the vehicle.

I recently had my car serviced
I recently had my car serviced. Service stop advised that items that had been recently replaced be replaced again ie auxiliary belt needs replacing when I had just replaced the cam belt and water pump. The auxiliary belt was also changed. Also Items that I had checked elsewhere and they advised that they did not need replacing. I have emailed twice for some one to contact guess what no one has contacted me at present. Not a happy customer. At present would not use the again

I had booked a month ago and I got a call from a garage on the morning of my service and MOT to say I was too far from the garage for it to be collected, Service Stop don't answer the phone EVER so I had to take the car in myself. They are supposed to phone to say if there are any extra charges before they do the work - they didn't! The garage says they can't contacted Service Stop either. I'm 80 years old and it's the worst car service I've ever had in my long life. A better title would be "Service? Stop Using Them!"

This is a spamming company. They will never care about your car and all they do is promise low prices.

The main reason I used them is because they come and collect the car. I did twice the full services with them and every time they charge me about £500 for doing nothing to the car and I end up paying because I trust their words.

The MOT is due today, I book it with them since last week. Guess what? Someone called me to inform me that they can't pick it today because the garage is too busy and the driver is sick. He offered me a new day but of course, I can't take it because the MOT is due today and I need it done today otherwise I can't drive the car.

If you care about your safety stay away from them. Just because they collect the car it is not worth going through all this hassle. All they want is the quantity and do not aspect quality.

Just had a service today i payed £149 up front and before thay let me have my car i had to pay
£251 more for extra work i should have been told and could have said no and no had the extra work

This is a FAKE business. Do not use - take the time to go to the garage yourself. You are NOT their customer, the garages that they make money on for doing nothing are their true customer.

Late collections. Incorrect information on their database resulting in incorrect paperwork. Being oversold add-ons that were not required. Zero complaints procedure other than 'sort it yourself'.

Their whole business model if flawed as YOU will have to deal with any and all issues yourself and you will pay more in money and your own time. What exactly is the point of their whole service again?

Nearly 4 weeks later I'm still going back and forth, did not have my paperwork and service book back for 3 weeks - missed out on selling my car and to date they still cannot see that my contract is with ServiceStop - not the garage.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE - Do not use this service.

My car was picked up fine and on time. My quote was £145 with vat around £160 which was fine, i had a phone call to say i needed specialist oil, pollen filter and brake fluid, which took my total to over £400?! I said no over the phone and was told i was only getting half a service, which they'd already done (apparently) so i said fine i had to pay, i ended up paying £190 in the end.
It's now 6.30pm and iv only just had a call to say my cars on its way back. Noone answers the phone. I haven't even had a service stamp in my log book (they couldn't find it)… it's the ONLY thing in the glove box? Why not just ring me and ask where it is? So the guy who dropped my car off said he's coming back with the stamp tomorrow! Turns out on my invoice i have actually had a full service! They are trying to rip people off, QUIERY everything! Or better yet go to a legit actual car place i feel like iv wasted my time and money.

AVOID! Save your money and time, go directly to a mechanic! Dont book through servicingstop, one price on booking different price on web and trust me when the service start they will call you for a lot more money example i was offered fuel filter replacement £83 brake fluid change £77 air and polen filter £62 WTH when i ask the mechanic how much they charge for fuel filter he said around £30 brake fluid rep. £30-35 and both air filters i rep. Them for less then £20 do your math and see is it worthy and all the discount you get online for paying upfront youll pay for that and some things like waste fluid and top up even twice!
When i went to the garage in the morning and told them i have booked service he said i dont know nothing about that, many of the full service checks are skipped but ticked on the list and another unprofessional thing week ago did car valeting but the mechanic doesn't really care about black oily hands and clothes gets inside the car touching everywhere...

I booked a service through Service stop and had a collection date and time. No one turned up. I contacted them and they told me lies over the phone. Then I rebooked and nothing happened. Do not use them as its a complete waste of time.

The company seemed fine, sending me emails about who was picking up my car, day and time slot etc. But on the day I waited and waited, it went past the 2 hour pick up slot (8am-10am), and no sign of the driver. I tried calling the driver from the local garage- no answer, I also called service stop themselves - was on hold for 40 mins before I gave up as was already late for work. They called at 4pm asking what my service was like, told them driver never turned up and all the guy could offer was a free MOT next year- My MOT was going to run out before that!
