I usually order my cosmetics online through Sephora since they have a variety of brands. I never had an issue with the order process and shipping. The quality of the brand I usually order is fabulous (Nars, btw). The only issues with Sephora that I have are—the website is over-saturated with useless features and they offer Klarna instead of Afterpay (which I believe they offered Afterpay awhile ago but Klarna is the only option).
When I shop online, I want to easily find what I want and not have to be bothered with features that provide no use (e.g. Community Forum, Groups and Gallery). It's an eCommerce website, not a social media/review platform. It's just too much! People like minimalist layouts that focus on your content, which in this case would be your products.
Very unsatisfied with my lost package from Sephora Canada. Canada Post lost yet again my parcel. Sephora won't refund me nor send me another parcel. They only have to do a service bill to get their money back and refund me but no. So I am here without my skincare/makeup with a 250$ bill. Canada Post won't refund me because I am not the one who sent the parcel (obviously). I lost my day on the phone trying to save the situation but no Sephora doesn't care. You have lost a good costumer.
I tried to purchase an eGift card for my girlfriend for our 2 year anniversary. They took money out of my bank account but then sent me an email saying they can't process my eGift card purchase. When I called customer support to find out why, I was transferred to another department that told me it was for security reasons but couldn't tell me why. Said I would need to just purchase one at a store. I work 12 hour days. There's a reason why I tried to do it online. So gentleman, fair warning if you try to buy your lovely lady a eGift card. Get ready to deal with unhelpful customer service and inconvenience if you try to go the online route.

I received this sample of foundation complimentary. This foundation is light and airy on the face. It sinks into every fine line or wrinkle you may have. After applying the foundation it doesn't make your face look as if the foundation was caked on like some other foundations tend to do. I had no break outs of acne like some other foundations tend to do to my face. It's extremely easy to wash off at the end of my day. I just love my color. It's extremely close to my natural color. I can build up the foundation and it still feels light and my skin still feels like I haven't applied a large amount of it. It helps even out my dull and uneven skin tones. Perfect cover up for blemishes. Applying makeup after the foundation isn't an issue. I can wear this all day without having to worry that I may have to touch up my face and add more. I have noticed it actually hydrates my skin. The foundation also plumps up my skin after applying it adding a younger look to my face reducing the signs of my fatigue and stress to my aging skin. I also appreciate that this foundation is vegan and non-comedogenic so it doesn't block my pores. The bottle has a generous amount of foundation and the pricing is very fair for the quality. I also appreciate that SEPHORA believes in helping the environment by making the full size bottle with 30% recycled glass. I recommend if your a foundation user to at least give it a try once.

I am a "rouge" level customer of Sephora and recently encountered a problem with a $20 eyeliner they sell. The in-store manager refused to provide an exchange due to my purchase greater than 60 days ago. I just opened this eyeliner in the past month, very little product was used. Deplorable customer service!

I'm a member with Sephora. Com/ Sephora app and make small purchases here and there online or in the app and I recently had ordered an eyeshadow pallet that my mailman delivered to the incorrect address and the post office clung to the answer being I likely entered my shipping address incorrectly and was then asked for my address to confirm. I recited it to clerk and said that I am using the wrong apartment number so my package was delivered to the incorrect address and since I am the one who entered the wrong number, I'm the one at fault and the package is gone... I emailed Sephora and explained my problem and the resent my item at no cost to me and with free shipping included... I also received a very sympathic letter expressing their concerns for my feelings and sent a follow-up email to survey my experience with the support team.
Sephora may be high $$$ spectrum but when it comes to quality merchandise that does what the label advertises it's usually worth every penny.
There are also all kinds of sales and coupons for a little break on your wallet.

I have been a VIB since 2010 and I will not be shopping here anymore. I have spent $1000's and I regret it. On this winter holiday, I decided to indulge myself by shopping something for myself. I got my order on time. The face masks I bought were great.

Sephora has so many that your head will spin, but there are also a lot of drugstore alternatives that are rated just as highly (or better) than a lot of higher-end ones. I would do some research online before ever stepping foot into a store like Sephora (trust me - they will bombard you with very expensive things you don't need). Honestly, I really like Ulta as a store better than Sephora because they carry both drugstore, middle-end, and higher-end products. (MUCH better service, too) But before you go anywhere, Google things like "best anti-aging products for mature skin" or things like that. Using multiple products, such as a glycolic toner, a serum, as well as a moisturizer is a good idea. One thing that is FANTASTIC for wrinkles and dark spots is Retin-A, but you have to get a prescription for it and it is harsh on your skin (especially if you're sensitive). It literally kills off your top layer of skin (which leads to a very annoying period of your face peeling for a few weeks), but once you get over the growing pains, your skin is amazing. I was diagnosed with melasma, which is hyperpigmentation of the skin, on my face, so my doctor gave me Retin-A and hydroquinone, which really works at fading dark spots. If you can't afford the Retin-A (mine is over $200 a tube), there are a lot of great OTC products that contain retinol and work well, just not like the Rx version. Neutrogena has a great line of products for dark spots and wrinkles. But like I said, do your research and don't let sales reps push you into really expensive products, because they get a commission, and you may get stuck with a bad product and an empty wallet.
