We ordered our blinds very clearly 69.5" by 47" with blackout. The blinds came and were 54" by 47" with no blackout! OK, we call, we send pictures and finally we get the new blinds. This time they do have the blackout, but cut at 69" by 46.5"... large gaps at side and bottom let in brilliant light around the edges. Now, having to go back to them for 3rd try since they have our money. Hope springs eternal.

I ordered four blinds, I was told I had 24 hours to review my order that was emailed to me. With in an hour I realized I had ordered the wrong color. I called them back, they said the order might have been sent to manufacturing. They said they would get back to me in 24 to 48 hours. I haven't heard from them again, five days later. They don't answer emails or online chats. Very frustrating.
I'm fairly sure select blinds will remove this review, but here goes anyways. I purchased three blinds last month, totaling nearly $500. One of the blinds (a 2 inch "faux wood" blind) arrived damaged, with the mechanism to open and close the shades not working. In addition, these "faux wood" blinds were of horrible quality - think floppy plastic, the type used to house disposable food. The blinds did not close fully because the plastic was so heavy. I complained several times, and the customer service rep first asked me to try to fix the blinds myself, and when I said I was not willing to go out of my way to fix the faulty low-quality blinds, they said I would then have a choice for a "re-make" by paying $10 and an additional 50 percent of the original cost. Really very unsatisfied. Buyers beware!

Customer service sent me an email that the product now has a cord, YET they continue to advertise NO CORD on their website! I know what cord free means but Select Blinds does not. They refuse to refund my entire purchase or make good on the ACTUAL product they are selling.
I just saw a tweet for them that was negative from this site, I wanted to chime in. I have had nothing but the best customer service from Select Blinds. I bought sheer shades 2 years ago and they are great!
My problems:
1. My original item was back-ordered
2. When I tried to get this item changed to an available item the staff was very nice and when I explained that I needed the item soon offered to rush my order. Supposedly it was changed and would be delivered that Friday. It never came.
3. The following Monday I contacted them again, they were apologetic and said the blinds would be here by yesterday, assuring me that this would be the case. My blinds did not come.
4. I contacted them yesterday and today and they do not know the status of the blinds being shipped, are unsure if the blinds have been produced. They promised to call me yesterday, they did not. They have stated they will call me today, I am still waiting.
5. Select blinds is not the manufacturer, they are some company who works loosely with a manufacturer and it takes 8 hours for them to get a response back and then they may or may not be able to help you.
6. GET BLINDS FROM A DIFFERENT COMPANY IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER OPTION!
Ordering was a breeze on website. When I went to pay I got an error message that stated payment problem. So I placed order again. You guessed it, I got 2 emails that I ordered twice. No problem, I'll call to cancel one right away... on hold for 20 minutes 3 times. Their phone system automatically disconnects you at exactly 20 minutes on hold... I would avoid them for lack of customer service.
The overall process through the website was very user friendly and quick for us. My wife and I love the sample kit with styles and color/stain options that you sent to us. This really helps someone find the perfect match for their home.
We placed two separate orders over a period of 4 months and both arrived relatively soon after we placed the order. The installation instructions are easy to follow and all the required hardware came with the blinds. Each area we installed our new blinds was perfectly enhanced and we couldn't be happier.

Select blinds has some really cute shades for children's rooms with all of my daughters favorite disney characters. They were the only store I could find that had these types of window blinds. For children's rooms the quality is just right and so was the price.
I ordered shutters from this company. They arrived in great condition and I was quite pleased with the appearance. They offer a great value product, but I would make sure you order free sample swatches before you buy to make sure you know what you are getting. It would have helped a lot of the people I see that had poor experienes with this company.
I bought my entire house of cordless honeycomb blinds from this company. When they arrived, I give them a two because i did get product and they did come in a decent time, but when they arrived they were not at all as represented. They were soooo paper thin that you can see the strings in them. Yes, i ordered translucent ones so they have some light, but NO WHERE else would you find such poor quality even premade ones are better quality than this. NOT A good deal at all, and the customer satisfaction is a crock. They wanted me to pay for all the shipping back and I would of been out of all my money, and blinds in the mean time and would of had to fork out another wad of money to upgrade them. They were rude and did not care at all now that they had my money. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL... their products are just made cheaply to lure you in with the low price.

Answer: They won't accept returns. I ordered shades, which the pictures from their website clear show have a hidden bracket in the same color as the shade. We got bright white brackets that curl around the front of the shade and will be very visible to everyone in the room. They will look like a cheap knockoff.
Answer: I ordered on line from Home Depot. Better quality that Select's private label brand and quick delivery. I received perfect quality shades in 8 days. Select kept delaying and was up to 3 months delivery and counting when I finally was able to cancel.
