Roman blinds

We liked the material and style. I gave Select Blinds my precise measurements. All blinds were 1/2" to 3/4" too narrow, i. E. not wide as ordered. In addition, two of the blinds were too short by at least 3". I'm disappointed with the product and I am considering filing a complaint. I provided exact measurements only to get a product that doesn't suit our needs 100%. So what? I spent over $2200 and I'm more than irritated. We are fixing up a house so I'm not had time to deal with a huge return like this one, 11 blinds.

The items came perfect. The installation was simple and though I wish the instructions were a bit more detailed. I figured it out without a problem, but I can see some may struggle. Overall highly satisfied with the customer service rep who called to confirm my order before manufacturing, and the overall ease of ordering, installation and quality of product.

Not impressed with the sizes.

Ordered 2 blackout roller shades for a room as a test before getting the rest of the house. I gave accurate measurements for inside mount but these are smaller than expected and don't look good. Definitely don't block the light.

I can't believe I didn't do this sooner

I bought these blinds for a cabin renovation that I am doing in another town so I was not able to install immediately. I just installed them this past weekend and OMG! I can not believe how easy they were to put up. I purchased 3 blackout blinds. All cordless and no drill needed. They popped up in seconds. They are beautiful. I can't wait to order more for the other 2 cabins once they are closer to being finished. I'm thinking about changing out my upstairs bedroom and bathroom windows at the beach now :)

Took longer than expected as it ships from Vietnam 3-4 weeks. Get the blinds with cords, it's hard to reach up to pull the blinds, pushing them up also isn't so great especially if you have a couch in front.

Overall the online selection, ordering samples, clarifying some points with a telephone rep were great experiences. I love my blinds, they are just what I wanted. My only criticism is with the installation directions. They could be clearer regarding where on the top of the window frame to drill for the bracket installation, depending on whether we want them at the back (against the glass) or as forward as possible (along the very front of the frame. I had to do some measuring and estimating and then spackle a couple of mis-drilled spots. Other than some confusion there, all was beautiful!

I had a question about fire retardent on the honeycomb shades. I talked with a rep last week, she assured me she would continue researching the issue and email me. I have not heard anything regarding my question from anyone at SelectBlinds. I'm short of time, so I just placed my order, but I like to make fully informed purchases, so this was disappointing.

I had a wonderful experience with SelectBlinds! The process of selecting the right size and material was a breeze, and my blinds arrived right on time. The installation was fairly simple, although the instructions could have been a bit clearer. Once installed, the blinds look absolutely beautiful! I'm so happy with how they turned out that I'll definitely be purchasing more for the other rooms in my house. Highly recommend SelectBlinds for both quality and service!

Happily surprised

It's my experience that you never really know what you're going to get when you order something online. In this case it worked out very well.
The only issue I had was with the mounting screws which stripped out. May I suggest that you use a star pattern from this point on. The fit and the look of the bamboo shades was better than I expected. I would definitely recommend this product.

Defective

Arrived on time. Look great, but one of the 4 shutter panels will not stay closed. Contacted Select blinds and after a few text messages they promised to get back via Email, but that was several weeks ago and...

Not easy to install

Had problems with snapping the shade on the fastener clips. Much more difficult than Blinds. Com. Some of the clips had burrs on the area where you had to fasten into the rail slot. Maybe that's why I had issue. Finally I was able to do it. Also not happy with the quality of the cellular shade. I have purchased shades from other suppliers and their quality seemed better.

Blinds that truly blackout the light.

Our blinds are in a timely manner. We were pleased with the quality and look of them. Installation was fairly easy. We only wish we had paid the $9.99 for the measurement guarantee. Unfortunately one of our windows isn't exactly square so we had to install one blind as an outside mount.

I got the European blinds and decided to just pull the trigger without seeing the fabric in person. Exactly what it looks like online. Went for the electric ones and I'm blown away. They were great price, they were delivered so fast! We'll definitely use again soon

My whole experience was great! We received samples as requested and were able to make a choice from them. This was very helpful. Had I ordered what I thought was the correct color for my room, I would have been very disappointed. Since I was able to get samples, I was able to make a better choice. Great quality material and price.

Great website and online ordering experience

The website was able to answer all my measurement questions, provided easy to understand tutorials, and diagrams. I ended up not needing to call customer service even though I ordered for my entire home. The fabric, style, color, and quality was exactly what I expected. I also purchased hardware for all the curtains and it was also as expected. There was a short delay with one of my packages, but I was updated regularly and I was easily able to track it until it arrived.

Couldn't be happier

I am a contractor and I had a client specifically ask for the type of blinds that select blinds sells. I never used them but they was the only company that I could find to make custom sizes. I gave all the measurements needed in the order and everything came back to me perfectly cut. I couldn't be happier with my experience with this company and would recommend to anyone that is looking for blinds.

We bought Roman shades and they are beautiful, but the chain to open and close them was too short. Not their fault, they were for 3 high windows and we did not understand the chain is only about a foot long (despite diagram). We called and they were very understanding, and sent us 3 new chain lengths at a very reasonable cost. Couldn't be more happy and satisfied with their blinds and their customer service!

Definitely ordering more!

I've had the blinds for a couple months now and I love them! Having the up/down option feels like such a luxury and they have continued to glide beautifully. No snags, still supported, and all that good stuff. My partner was the one who installed the blind but he said it was easy! We just had a big snow here and some cold weather. I lifted the blind up and the different in temperature was immediately noticeable, so five stars on helping to keep the house comfy.

I started off with just one blind before making a bigger investment. Well, hopefully these don't get discontinued any time soon because I am definitely going to get more for the rest of the windows in the living room and then slowly get these for all other rooms in the house.
