I have ordered pleated drapery twice now from Select Blinds. With the first order (Memorial Day sale) turnaround was maybe 2 1/2 weeks and when I received them, initially I was pleased with the quality, but the measurements could have been better and they have a room darkening liner which is substantial, so the drapes are a bit bulky. Since we hung the rod, I adjusted the drapery pins for a better length and am living with them. We need the bedroom window covered in the summer here in the desert. The consultant I dealt with during the order process was very helpful.
I ordered two more pair of draperies for a pair or similar windows in the living space. Same fabric, different color, just a privacy liner. We talked with length with the consultant because we had measurement questions about the depth of the pleats in the heading and the placement of the pins with the pleats. We were working with rods that were already hung and were hoping for an exactly right length.
The consultant went above and beyond to get some answers but could not definitively answer our measurement question, so we purchased the measurement protection. After the 24 hour period we were notified order was in production, another 2 days and order was being shipped. We received drapery 6 days after ordering! I was rather surprised at the quick turnaround since I once again ordered during a sale and was expecting your workroom would be very busy.
I noticed when unpacking that drapery was not packed as carefully as or first order. Pleats had been pressed in but not carefully, ends of each panel were rumpled because of careless pressing/packing and with a less substantial lining, it made a difference when we hung the drapes. Upon closer inspection and because the drapery hem appeared uneven I noticed that seaming was also carelessly done so of course the drapery would not hang correctly. I realize these are long panels and probably not easy to construct, but I was hoping for a better made finished product. I would have been happy to wait for better made drapes. I think I am going to have to exercise the measurement protection because part of each panel drags on floor and part is the length it needs to be. I would like the finish product to meet my expectations.

Customer service felt at first the initial cut was doable if the width was 1/2 in. Too short but correcting it made the fit perfect.

Love getting the samples and choosing something that's just right for my space. Easy to install; I can do it myself with a simple power screwdriver.
I received my order, the box was damaged and so was the blind. I spoke to customer service, sent a few photos and a few weeks later I received my new undamaged blind. Yes it was a bit of a pain to wait longer than anticipated for the blind, but given the issues other people have with customer service departments, mine was easy and uncomplicated. I give the company a 5.
The instructions to measure the blinds is not true… after measuring per instructions and receiving we have open strips on each side that could have been covered if it was measured correctly… not too happy..

The color I ordered was more red. What I received looked like pumpkin. The receipt in the box had a number for the color and no name for the color. I called customer care twice and was on hold to long. I sent msg asking for the name of the color number and I never received a response.

Had to call in order to make sure I ordered my additional blinds in the same color as the first one. Person I spoke with was very helpful, had all my info at fingertips, did not have to go over things multiple times with different people and my order was placed quickly.
Answer: Semi scam. They do not honor 3 yr warranty. My claim, 6418454 was literally IGNORED with non response.
Answer: They won't accept returns. I ordered shades, which the pictures from their website clear show have a hidden bracket in the same color as the shade. We got bright white brackets that curl around the front of the shade and will be very visible to everyone in the room. They will look like a cheap knockoff.
Answer: I ordered on line from Home Depot. Better quality that Select's private label brand and quick delivery. I received perfect quality shades in 8 days. Select kept delaying and was up to 3 months delivery and counting when I finally was able to cancel.
