A little confusing at checkout
I bought the more expensive car cover for a 1965 Ford Galaxie, 2 door, the exact model car I have. The angular corners of the headlights immediately ripped through the material upon test fitting the cover. I contacted SealSkin to get it cleared up and they refused. Don't waste your money.

Thanks for the help in ordering a cover for my 1973 starcraft capri 17' boat.
Received the replacement cover and installed. It surely does not fit, is not trailerable, but does completely cover my boat and will keep out tree leaves and dust. I will choose not to return and will use it although it looks very bad. I certainly would not give it over 2 stars.
The steel skin covered we received for our toy hauler ripped as soon as we put it on, I contacted customer service and still have not received any inquiry back! Seriously disappointed!

Buying was easy. But several disappointing results in trying to use it.
The instructions are fairly useless. It talks about the front & back as you unfold - but no indication or marking which is front. Pictures don't really match the words.
After spreading and seeing how wind pushed it off to one side, I realized 'maybe' I have it backward - not easy to turn it around and re-spread!
Which brings me to snugness - the front or back don't really have strong enough stretch edge to fold / pull tighter under the bumper areas. Then there's the strap that goes under the car to tie the middle part.
The metal cord is too short, and the cloth companion cord makes it too long and not usable as it's meant to - using the metal cord and trying to use the lock supplied is not possible to just use the metal cord - way too short. And it would rip the holes in the cover.
The plastic bottom attached to the cover to allow the metal cord to go through it to prevent riping the cover came off almost immediately and useless!
So, the cover is on the car. I have to constantly monitor to pull it back when the wind pulls it off to one side - and to have neighbor or someone do the same when I travel (often).
Overall quality is not what I expected and as mentioned at the start, the instructions are mostly pictures which have little to do with the words! :(
Knowing what I now know, I wouldn't buy it again, but others may have much better experiences than me and much smarter in using it :(
I may try to call customer service, but none of the problems I described can be resolved remotely.
My car is a 2013 Nissan Altima, and while the size seems right, fit and use is not very good. Material seems sturdy and waterproof and fairly heavy.
No mirror pockets - maybe that's a good thing - given the weight and how it pulls off to one side, if it had mirror pockets/covers, a strong pull may even damage the mirror on one or another side.
The cover is pretty nice overall, especially the material, but did not look like what I saw on the site because the pictures for the different covers on the site are all the same. Also, for a custom fit cover, it does seem a bit baggy and I would prefer a lockable steel cable rather than a rope for securing the cover, especially for the price. It does what it is supposed to do and I like the dark grey color of it.
