I have been waiting 2 weeks for my order. The tracking they provided says it has not been picked up yet. They did not respond to my email and I finally called and they tell me to just wait.
It appears they are just playing games and delaying for some reason... there is no way their system did not already flag my order before I called.
Item looks great and expensive
After the third cover they sent us, we were done. The first cover was about a foot too small, the second cover was defective, and the third cover was way too big. Considering a Mazda Miata is a fairly common car, you'd think they'd be able to provide a cover that would fit. Apparently not. Even after all this, they refused to waive their refund policy and still charged us the restocking fee. I tried to get this reversed but their customer service just stopped talking to us. Avoid this company at all costs.
I wish I could review on their actual covers however trying to get them to deliver a cover that was ordered over a month ago is impossible. We ordered a side by side cover on Nov 17 and they charged my card on that date. Over the past few weeks I have contacted the company to find out the status of my order. Each time I am told I will receive an email within 24-48 hours only to never receive anything. Now today, 4 days before Christmas they have decided that the cover is out of stock and yep you guessed it, they want me to wait 24-48 hours for my refund. The customer service for this company is absolutely horrendous. Do not buy anything from this company. Time will tell if we get our money back.
BEWARE, DO NOT BUY FROM SEAL SKIN CAR COVERS! We bought a car cover for our 2004 Corvette. We were sent the wrong cover. We tried calling their listed telephone # but you're told operaters are busy led to voice-mail. You leave your contact & order issue but no one returns you call. Emails also go unanswered. We've even made a claim ticket without any response from Seal Skin Car Covers. We tried messaging on Facebook. Our messages get deleted. I tried messaging via Instagram. The message was read, no reply back to us. However we were IMMEDIATELY BLOCKED by someone from Seal. Silk Car Covers. They know of the issue but refuse to contact us to retify it. What good is a warranty or customer satisfaction guaranteed if the company avoids its customers! I'm stuck with a $99 car cover that doesn't fit my Corvette. I'm pissed!
So disappointed that the Seal Cover purchased in June (Supreme All Weather Outdoor Cover) did not hold up for more than 5 months outside sitting on a car. We got the nicest cover they provide and it is showing wear on the edges of the car. We have not done anything weird with the cover, simply put it on the car when we got it. We live about an hour north of Chicago so the weather is not too extreme. I wanted to buy 2 more covers, but seeing as they will only replace the cover under warranty ONE TIME, it's really not worth investing more into these covers. So very disappointing as I thought we were buying a quality product. Looking elsewhere for a better cover that is truly All Weather.
The cover did not fit my car and ripped the first time I tried to pull it over my bumper. They won't refund my purchase. I'd highly recommend buying from another company. Their support is HORRIBLE. They want me to go thru the warranty dept which will cost me money for a brand new cover. 2 things... it has seen the light of day for two minutes and the replacement STILL won't fit? I'm stuck and they don't GAF!
This cover was for a "not an average" Ford F150 truck. The cover was for a Limited Edition Carroll Shelby Cobra model. I was really concerned if it would fit. I called customer service and was told "yes we have one". Just detailed the truck getting it ready to store for the winter and it fits perfect. This is the 2nd cover purchased and both times very satisfied. I highly recommend it.
I purchased 3 covers: 2014 Mustang, 2020 Explorer, and 2018 F-350 that didn't fit but that wasn't the issue. I contacted Seal Skin Covers (SSC) and had no issue in obtaining a return label for a swap. Sent the cover back and can show they received it November 10,2020. December 4,2020 I still had not received any contact from SSC (my 1st issue with their "customer service"). They told me that they don't have a cover that would fit my truck (though it is listed in their options) thus a refund. 20% restock fee is a pure gouge. NEVER buy from them again.
I bought the premium cover for a Mercedes Benz (recommended by the website after inputting my vehicle info). The quality of the material is excellent HOWEVER the fit and elastic hold is horrible! In winds of 20 mph the cover comes right off. If I use the grommets and wire tether the front and back of the cover comes off; didn't they test their product? Don't they employ engineers, skill seamstress? What good is a cover that doesn't stay on?

The only trouble was a little bit slower internet, causing the transaction to pause a moment.
There wasn't a button to continue shopping I had to buy 3 cars - and that was alot of back and forth.
Now that I have used 2 of them - 1 has torn in 3 places from taking it on and off... this is not acceptable.
It was very hard to find the email for the confirmation of the purchase of the covers - I can't find it. I can't find your name on the cover itself - as I wasn't sure who to call - or what your name was. I found my paperwork and then found ONLY this email - this really has lead for a terrible position. These covers must be made in China - as they are poor quality... and the connectors are challenging.

I purchased a cover expecting something well made. I received it on a Monday and opened it immediately. After opening i felt cover and it was so thin. It only felt like 2 layers. I was expecting something with a little more to it as they said 5 layers. Also included a paper saying about make sure always wipe car down before putting cover on as you could scratch the surface of vehicle. It also has precautions as could tear easy. I immediately called them to return and still waiting for them to send info to me to return it. Today is almost end of day Thursday. It's now been over 72 hours waiting for return information.
They still have not taken care of the baggy fitting boat cover, either it is the wrong model and nobody can catch the problem, or your computer system does not have the right inventory To match the right boat.
12/1/2020 update to my 11/10/2020 review, still no cover has been sent to me so they did not get it out the same day I called them, in fact I got an email after I pestered them again, saying that it would be 1-2 weeks since my cover is out of stock. 2 weeks have past, still no cover or response from customer service. Again the covers are really nice but their customer service is very weak.
I purchased a sealskin cover for my UTV with the understanding that it could be used during transport, while trailering, the cover did not hold up to the use while trailering. The straps broke which led to the cover getting a huge tear in it. I called Sealskin customer support who explained the warranty process to me. Read that before you purchase so you understand that to get them to warranty the product you purchased you have to pay $35 "to help offset the shipping costs" so your warranty costs you money. After emailing and calling them they agreed to replace my cover. I paid the fee then had to wait 2 days for the shipping label, I shipped the cover back to them and waited for a response that they received it and were shipping the new one to me as they had said they would. No response. I ended up calling them again only to find out they fumbled this and had not sent me the new cover as they said they would. They said they would ship the new one to me today. This entire process was a pain, it has taken 30+ days now to get this warranty claim processed. The cover is pretty nice, 5 stars but the customer service, 0 stars. I really hope others do not experience this and that the company takes measures to fix this kind of service.

Cover is paper thin. The inside is not was it shows and the cable lock is a Chinese piece of junk. This cover is a total rip off from start to finish.
