Bought a trailerable cover that started to come apart 20 miles down the road at 50 mph. These covers are storage covers only! Great for protecting your boat from the weather. I contacted seal skin for warranty because all the snaps and strap tore off the cover after 40 miles of trailering the boat. They sad they would warranty but I had to pay $35 shipping! For a new cover after I returned the old one to them. I returned the old one, waited 2 months heard nothing after repeated requests for the replacement even the fact that andrew signed for my old cover at their loading dock didn't seem to speed things up! Finally 6 months later I'll be getting another piece of crap cover back that was supposed to be trailerable but isn't! At least I can cover it up and keep the sun off it
I had ordered a cover for my boat and it was a bit too large, customer service worked with me for a perfect fit. I did cover the cost for the additional shipping, i was very satisfied that they still worked with me even though their policy doesn't cover international exchanges! Thank you! In the photo we still had to adjust the straps.

Installed as instructions available recommend. Cover fits incorrect/also they send a short steel cable and 1 lock supposed cable fits under vehicle and back to original grommet hole/Not
There's nothing front or rear to hold this cover to the vehicle.

Never opened package. Have been packing up my house for the past 2 months. Ended up donating the car to Kars for Kids so don't need the cover. This is the 1st chance I had to call to either refund or exchange for another car I have. They said because it happened in May, I can't return it! This is BS! Home Depot even has a 180 day return policy! It has not even been opened! Would NEVER buy from them again! Terrible policy!
I spoke to their customer service representative and informed them I wanted a cover for my ATV. I gave them the make and model and all the specifications. They told me what cover would work, so I ordered it. When I received it, it was way to small not even close. After talking with them again, and informed them I wanted my money back, they charged me a 20 percent restocking fee. What a scam. They can give you wrong information and then penalize the customer with a 20 percent restocking fee.
I will never recommend this product or company to anyone.

I ordered a cover for a Yamaha Wave Runner. I have to admit that I did not verify the fit within the 30 day return policy, so that is on me. However, it is clear the cover they shipped was for a completely different sized machine and was 3.5' too short. Customer service told me that these are not custom fit, which I understand but 100" (which is what they sent) vs 135" (which is what I ordered). There was no offer to make good on any level or to accept responsibility for shipping the wrong product.
I should have looked them up on the BBB web site or read other reviews with many complaints about the same thing.
I would not recommend doing business with Seal Skin Covers. If you do, check your cover as soon as it arrives and don't expect they shipped what you ordered.
Ordered my cover and immediately asked for a change following their process. Seal Skin refused to help make changes. And lied about shipping the cover when in fact it had not shipped. Their customer service team is not helpful at all and passed me around to different people. Buyer beware as the after purchase process has been dreadful.
I just keep asking and emailing but now NO RESPONSE! Four different covers and I'm suppose to be happy with this. Horrible dealing with this company.

To whom it may concern,
My wife and I purchased a Spartan supreme 1200 all weather boat cover for our boat back in 2019. My order number is *******. Since I purchased it in 2019 I've had to have it replaced after the first summer in Florida. Now I've gone through the second summer in Florida and have to have it replaced again because it has deteriorated to the point of powder and ripping. We purchased your boat cover because it was the best one we could find online and we're willing to pay a premium price for a premium product. I would expect these boat covers to last 5 to 10 years even in Florida. But it obviously cannot handle the sun in Florida.
After contacting your customer service. They said that the cover will only be replaced one time. I understand that if the material was a quality material and was expected to last 5 to 10 years. We have proven by the severity of the deterioration from the Florida sun it is not of quality.
It is unfair that we paid $300 for a cover that is supposed to last longer than a year or one summer in Florida. This cover has not been abused or neglected in anyway. We only use it to cover our boat and it's taken off of our boat 2 to 3 times a month.
All we are looking for is for your company to stand behind your product and do the right thing by replacing our boat cover at no charge because of the inferior fabric used in the process. I can only say this because we've only made it through one summer per cover and each time it has deteriorated to dust.

Just hope you get the right cover 1st time. Customer service and satisfaction guaranteed means nothing to these people. I have been fighting with them for 4 months and four covers to get a simple F150 truck cover. They actually told me they didnt make one that fits but my sale was final. WTF. Meanwhile the birds continue to crap on my fleshly painted truck. So frustrating
I was sent the wrong cover for my boat, the wrong cover for my outboard and they refuse to take care of the issue. I ordered this before leaving on my vacation. Now they refuse to send the correct product in time for me to use it for the trip I have planned. I can not even get them to email me a reutrun label that they say must be shipped back before they will do anything to take care of thier mistake. Nor will they have a supervisor call me. Its hard to even begin to explain the ridiculousness.
This car cover ruined the paint on car. Trapped water vapor from cover. Left residue and water spots all over my vehicle. So dissatisfied. Wish I never purchased this cover.

Bad business! I tried to get issue resolved & got nothing but the run around. Managers out etc... etc... etc!
They recommended this cover it doesn't fit. I let them know and they said no return and I asked for axchange no response very dissatisfied.
Before I ordered, I phoned to check fit. I was told if my boat was listed it would fit. The cover they sent was not even a boat cover (see below). The emails stated exchange was free and guaranteed. Turns out, somewhere on the site it says not so. Despite verbal assurance, email assurances, they can send something completely wrong, and then try to tell you it's semi-custom, so apparently that means it doesn't have to fit at all and it's not their problem. I called on Monday, they said they'd review and get back to me in 48 hours. Not so, and when I called again, they denied even talking to me. Sorry guys, according to my call log you did, at 2:17. I'm out $300 due to their mistake. I've never before had a company deal so poorly with an issue as this. Absolutely no effort to rectify the situation!
I recently purchased a cover for my 2012 Audi A4. Nowhere on the site was I advised that
(a) purchases to Canada are non-refundable and final - they wrote to me saying as I was in Canada, I am S. O. L. With regard to a return
(b) the cover I bought - for outdoor use - is incredibly heavy, even when dry. I mean so unreasonably heavy, my wife cannot put the cover on the car herself. That is not stated anywhere.
(c) the only way to ensure the cover does not blow away with the wind is to use the supplied cable and combination lock - no drawstring, no way to attach to the wheels like every other car cover. Not stated in the web information - I assumed I was getting a cover with the usual features for tie-down reasonably expected.
I purchased a cover (by their sites recommendation) for my deck boat. I received it and due to unexpected travel requirements and bad weather I didnt get to try it for 30 dats. I tried it on and the cover is almost 2 feet short and will not work at all. I got the response that due to being just over 30 days I was SOL.
The quality of the cover was not near what it was made out to be either. I would totally recommend looking somewhere else prior to purchasing from Seal Skins!
This cover was not made for my car. The cover goes over it but doesn't fit properly and clearly is not tailored to accommodate the peculiar shape of my car. No accommodation for side view mirrors, etc.
I have owned my boat cover just around 18 Months now. The cover has faded extremely bad and the fabric is brittle and rips with the slightest pull. It's pretty much useless at this point and would recommend this to anyone.
