Their site claims 100% satisfaction guarantee but when you want a refund on a car cover that absolutely comes up short, their response is "We do not provide CUSTOM covers?" their trying to offer an exchange which I do NOT want so I put in a dispute with PayPal who will get my money for me and most likely drop this company from their service
Cover ripped in half down the center in less than 3 years. Requested the warranty and paid the $35 shipping and handling fee. The automated email said it was approved and would arrive in about 8 days. That was 2weeks ago and they did not answer my last email.
Update: They did come through with the warranty, no scam. It is a bit lame that it didn't quite last 3 yrs. If this one lasts the same it isn't a horrible deal overall. 3.5 stars
Bought a cover for my Yamaha Wave Runner. They initially sent the wrong size, so I had to send it back. I was told as soon as they received the old cover, the correct cover would be shipped out. They received the cover over a week ago, and I still had heard nothing from the company. Called today, the agent said it would be taken care of immediately, and to expect an email wishing 15 minutes. Three hours later, no email. I called back and was told this time that the shipping department had it, and I'd get an email tomorrow. No explanation for the 15 minute deadline not being met. So, still no cover, and only their word that the shipping department will send it out in the morning. And they haven't exactly caused me to have a lot of faith in their word.
I purchased a cover for my 2020 GMC SIerra and it was too short on both sides by 2 feet and short in the rear by a foot. Here is the response I got from Seal Skin. They don't stand behind their products.

Our covers are not custom fits, semi custom covers are the best fit at the best possible price but they're not perfect. Semi custom covers can generally run inches to a foot too short or too long but are an awesome option for someone looking for a good cover at a great price. These covers are waterproof and backed by full warranties. Fully custom covers is when someone comes out to measure your boat or vehicle. Those covers can take up to 8 weeks to make and are double the price!"
Beware and look at their BBB rating, many complaints.
Horrible customer service! Two times I was told they will send me my size cover. Both times too small. Returned the first got the second 2 weeks later. It was also too small. Now they say return it and they won't send me one that fits. Will refund 80 percent of the money and keep 20 percent as a restocking fee. Stay away from seal skin covers as there are many better places to buy from!
I purchased a jet ski cover and my jet ski blew up. I never used the cover and wanted to exchange it for the new jet ski I purchased and they said it was past our 30 day policy. NO EXECEPTIONS!
I purchased a supreme cover for $150 in March for my 83 mustang that I keep outside over the summer. I wanted something to keep the sun off my car and be waterproof when it rains. I started using the cover that seemed nice at the time in Early April. Late June early July I took the cover off and noticed some wet spots on the car.The next rain was even worse. To keep this short the customer service is a joke saying the Warranty states that I need to pay a shipping fee of $35 more dollars for a replacement. I know this is a cheap defective product that will leak again. This is how they make their money. The $150 cover is now a $185 cover and so on and so on. I don't believe their reviews and would never recommend Sealskin or any other of these car cover companies online. $150 means a lot right now to a lot of people so I am hoping this review will save many people their hard earned money.
I ordered a cover for my Seadoo. Was advertised as free shipping, but billed me $26 because I am in Canada. Then I got stuck paying all the import duties and taxes. Cost me near $60 in shipping fees for a $99 cover. Anyway I open the package and they had shipped the wrong item. I asked them to either correct it or refund my money. They came back with a firm 'all international orders are final'... but I didn't get the item I ordered!. After much back and forth they agreed that if I returned the item to them (at my shipping cost) they would review it and see if an exchange is possible, then they would ship the new one to me (at my shipping cost... I gave up... chucked it in the garbage and bought from the competition
I have one of those rare 69 camaros you know the ones they only made 250 of. I ordered a car cover and they sent it I put it on and it was 16 in to big. I called and returned it so they sent me a new one. I put it on and fit it on the back of the car and the went to pull it to cover the front and it was so tight that the stitching on the back started to come apart. I called and said that the cover is to small and doesn't fit. There response was that the covers are not custom fit they fit a whole collection of cars and the covers are always big and that if I return it there's a 20% stocking charge. So when you read that the covers are custom fit its all crap. The customer service sucked when ever I called I had to open a ticket and some one would get back to me with in 24 48 hrs. Your better off with a blue tarp

If you don't mind paying for a product you never receive, this is the place for you. I paid $230 for a boat cover that UPS claims they delivered. They are notoriously bad at delivering to the right address in my neighborhood. Now I am supposed to pay for their mistake. If you buy from this company, good luck to you.
I am now blocked on FB but I need to let people know how this company treated me. The cover failed miserably, immediately, and any communication to Sealskin is now getting the lowest or no response. This product and its performance is very bad, it caused major problems for me on my way to vacation, and I am not alone.
I am sure they erase the real reviews on this product so if you read this and are interested in if this company will live up to their claims, advertising, and guarantee's, write me at *******@gmail.com and I will let you know what occurs with my return request. Bad products happen, I get it, mine was. But a good company recognizes when they goofed up and if it means they loose a customer, they make sure it was not for lack of integrity. I purchased a cover for my 23' boat that was supposed to ship in 4-7 days. It took 5 weeks to arrive. Once I got the cover and unpacked it. I realized they sent me a cover for a 30' boat. It's way to big for the boat and hangs almost to the ground in some places!
I asked to exchange it for the correct cover for my boat that I ordered and they have now denied my exchange and will not refund my money as well. This company is a complete scam!
I ordered a cover for my Ford 150 truck and it does not cover the sides. It does not even cover the side doors and definitely does not cover the running boards. I contacted the website and they said they only sell "semi-fit" covers and there would be a 20% deduction for returning the cover. I can understand the 20% return fee but no when the cover they sold does not even fit my vehicle. Buyer beware. Only purchase if you only want 80% in return if the cover doesn't work for your vehicle.
The cover was not the color it was supposed to be, and could not return it. Will never do business with them again

Buyers beware. Called and talked to an associate. Answered all my questions and things sounded good. But once order completed things went south. I ordered a cover on 7/16 from Seal Skin Covers. Within minutes of placing the order, I canceled the order via their IM chat due to the poor reviews on quality and service. Associate "Ace" advised me the order was canceled and I would not be charged. On 7/19 I was charged for the cover. Called on 7/20 and was advised I would receive my refund by end of day 7/21. Called again today, 7/27 and was advised a "ticket" was not created last week for the refund and I should have a refund within 24-48 hours. So potentially two weeks after canceling an order I do not have a refund or a car cover.
This company is ridiculous! Ordered a bimini top May 26th finally received it the week of July 4th Only to find they didn't ship any of the hardware! I called customer service back and was told on July 8th how sorry they were and they would ship my missing items in 5 to 7 business days. Today is 11 business days! I call again today to be told they will look into it and my parts have still NOT shipped! I ask to speak to a supervisor and OMG that is not possible, it all has to be done by email! What a joke. My advice is to buy from another company! Once this is taken care of they will never receive another order from me and I will gladly tell people to not bother with this company! Unsatisfactory customer service!
They falsely described product on their website. I returned the item and they took 15% for restocking fee. Worst customer service and their product is cheap Chinese stuff. Do not buy it. I am calling my cc to get my money back.
