love the tea tree oil shampoo. BOGO sale in Dec. I gave one to a friend, kept the other for myself. I still have half the bottle left 6 months later. A little goes a long way folks.
Online customer support when you get it, is mediocre at best. Shipping times are slow and they don't always honor the sale prices.
I have ordered several times from their website. I always qualify for the free two day shipping because I always spend over $25. Yet, not once have my items arrived or let alone left their facility it two days. I just don't appreciate them lying about the shipping. My last order was placed over a week ago and isn't scheduled for delivery for another four days. My last order took over two weeks to arrive. Far from two day shipping. That would be fine if they didn't advertise free two day shipping, but they do so I feel like that part is a total scam. Let's not support scammers.
I love buying my hair dye products here. The prices are super affordable and they have a wide range of colors to choose from.
Tried ordering an item that was 50% off. The site would not accept my card so I called. The person said they don't know why it didn't accept it and to try another card. She stayed online and said that the new card worked. She said my item had been ordered. One week later I get an email that my order was canceled. I called and after an extremely long hold she tells me some long strange explanation that the system randomly picks orders and will try to run the card at a later date and when they did it declined my new card. Never ever heard of this. We have great credit and no card issues. I asked is they would resend and she said they were out of stock and would not honor the 50% off if reordered. What company doesn't honor there prices? Or try to do something to fix their problem they clearly made. I feel they were very deceptive from the beginning. I do not trust them and will not use them again! (I have wondered if it had anything to do with me also using Ebates with the order. Maybe they didn't want me to get the additional discount?)
I placed an order on the 20th, my card was declined due to incorrect billing information. But my card was still charged four times. I called someone to speak to them about these transactions, I was told that it would take 72 hours for the charges to be returned... here it is the 25th, and it's still not reflecting on my account. I've tried to call each number found for sally's, and each time I got an automated message saying " our hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8AM-7pm, our offices are currently closed, you can reach us by email......" It is Monday at 8:30AM, where is my money Sally's?
I made the mistake of placing a couple of orders recently via sallybeauty.com. At the time, I qualified for free 2 day shipping. Orders were placed on a Tuesday. Three separate for different reasons, the first two did not even ship until late Friday. I won't receive them until Monday. Nothing on their website says that orders are subject to processing time, in addition to the shipping time. In addition, my last order didn't even process or show that it was going to ship until late Friday night. It now says that my order will not arrive until Thursday, more than a week will have passed since I placed the order. I placed all with in 20 minutes of each other, so it was not like I placed the first in the morning and the last late at night. Unfortunately, my local store did not have some of the products I needed in stock, which is why I had to resort to the online option. I won't purchase from them online, again.
On Friday 1.25.19 my husband dropped me off at the front of Sally's less than a mile from my house. I am a recent survivor of an attempted murder attack and as such have issues walking. He parked and came in. The sales associate asked him once he entered ( 6'2 360 and a dark skinned black man) " What are you doing here?' Once my husband informed me of what happened I contacted the store manager ( who never got back to me), Customer service ( who called after one week, and several calls to state there was nothing she could do the sales associate denies the comment ) and the corp office ( I spoke to a legal AA and my info taken but nothing done)
When the call center finally calls me back she tells me that there is nothing she can do they looked into and the assoc states she never spoke to your husband.
I am SICK about this... how can in 2019 the color of your skin mean more than service, kindness, heck even the all mighty dollar.
You would think that even if she felt this way she would have kept silent if only for the profit...
Well, Sammy at your Largo Florida store has lost my business and as a member of several large black female based organizations I hope the business of every WOC that stands for equal treatment...
I am SHOCKED at how Sally's treats its black customers
Before I could drive I would just order online & it was a good experience at the time, even better when I could drive so I didn't have to wait for shipping ofc ;p
As far as diversity of products there are some, but they are based more NA market, so trying to find premium dye's like Palty or anything Japanese based like Milbon/Shiseido is impossible, so I end up buying off ebay instead. That's probably my only qualm about this place.
Of what they did have that I liked I bought & nothing really negative to say about the experience either. If nothing else I can at least talk with the staff if I'm unsure of anything or want ideas. There a great bunch, friendly & outgoing.
I must say for a while, I thought this place was incredible. But, the stores became expensive and smaller. It is so tight in the isles. Talking about claustrophobic. Nah. I'm good.
I gave two stars because I notice that no matter which Sally Beauty you go to the customer service is sub-par and they usually have alot of ghetto people working at their locations. I think sallys should improve their game and include some high end brands in their stores so that they could make more money and maybe hire some better people with better customer service skills. I hate walking in on Sha Nay Nay being bothered because I need help finding hair dye. I should not have to deal with Sha Nay Nay attitudes.
So I like this store to be able to get hair color. The products are nice and affordable. Staff not super helpful but I usually don't mind that...unless I have a question.
This is a great place it is your one stop shopping hair products nail products cosmetics it's all here hair color all the beauty supplies you need I love it
Not terrible. But not good. I dont know if the guy working there what his deal was with me i walked in with a "hello how are you today?" And he had some stick up his you know what lol. The makeup area looked like ot had been struck by ww3 ..the skin care stuff caps and bottles looled liked they were half gone and i wasnt gonna ask him for help trying to find a pair of hair cutting scissors nope
Sally beauty is similar to an ulta in that it has all things beauty. It is very convenient to shop here seeing as I can go here for anything I need. I've bought a hair diffuser here once and it has served his purpose. The only reason I would rate this 3 and not higher is because I haven't heard of most of true brands there
I love the store. If ever I need help the employees are soooo helpful. They always have great products and great prices. I pay for theor membership and it is worth it. I get cheaper prices and save so much so the membership pays flr its self in the first or second trip. They have so many products too. I am not a fan of their website. I hope that they make it easier to navigate soon.
I can't express enough how much I love sally beauty. Anytime I want good hair products for my naturally curly hair I go there. They have a wide selection of products so I'm sure you can find something. They also have amazing offers and coupons so you don't have to spend a lot.
I have been dying my hair myself for years and can do it well for under $10 at Sally's. I love the convenience of many shops in my area
Went there she tells me I needed two items for what I wanted to do. Go to pay she tells me I need this kit, gloves brush, bowl etc..bleaching powder. She could have mentioned all those items when I talked to her a few days ago...I wasn't expecting to pay an extra 18.00. She was more helpful when I asked her what was needed. Then tells me I should have bought the membership? What I could have saved money! I swear it's hard to find good help these days..never again! Hair looks like crap by the way...
If you want to dye your hair, this is the place to go! Tons of options in a wide variety of colors, including vibrant blue, purple, pink, and so many more. The hair dye at Sally's isn't as harsh as the boxed dye you can get at other places. I especially love the Argon Oil and Ion dyes.
In store or online, they sell low quality products and have poor customer service practices.
In store- I bought a $50 razor handle. It came with a few refill razor blades, but when I needed more, Sally's didn't carry them. Instead, they sold me other brands of replacement blades promising that they'd fit. I purchased three different types of replacement blades and none of them fit. Once the five blades that came with the handle were gone, I was never able to use it again. Sally's refused to give me my money back for the handle or the useless blades they sold me. One employee even called the owner in front of me and changed the story in front of me to make it sound like I'm trying to get over on them.
Online- I found the equipment I was looking for at the lowest price anywhere. Their web site claims they offer free two day delivery on equipment purchases. Today is day four. I tried looking into it. There was no tracking number. The shipping status read "complete". I tried calling customer service. They have none on the weekends. I had to log on from a computer to find the tracking number. Trying to track the package was another ordeal. I kept getting prompts to upload an app. I almost signed up for a bunch of junk mail in the process. I finally found my package and it's in transit. It's still somewhere in Nevada right now. I'm in Los Angeles. I won't be getting my equipment any time soon.
I sent an email and tried calling the nearest store for help. They are helpless!
And talking about helpless, most of the employees are either uneducated or undereducated, with little to no salon experience. Buyer beware!
I love Sallys! The prices are low, and they carry top shelf product lines. I especially like the hair color they carry. So many choices!
I love Sally. Been going for as long as I can remember even back when there were like no other beauty supply stores anywhere near. They pretty much have anything I need for quick pick-ups and I'm in there at least once a month.
Not to mention, their makeup is actually pretty quality and this is coming from an ex-makeup artist!
Love SallyBeauty! It is the go to place for hair! Whether you want weave, braids, curls or whatever. Totally place to go. Ive bought braids, hair oil, hairspray, ect from here. Friendly, helpful staff. Affordable & variety of products. And they offer a Sally card to help you save even more cash.
Ah yes...my high school summers were spent walking to the nearby Sally Beauty Supply and buying a bunch of hair products. Thanks to this store, I was able to bleach, dye, and treat my hair by myself and get the look I wanted! Good times.
