I recently got my cosmo license and I've spent a thousand dollars at my local Sally's. My last purchase was a trimmer that didn't work and I was told they don't do returns on equipment. Well... I'm blown away. It's 2023 and last I checked you could return almost any product, but not Sally's product. I bought clippers and when I opened them I quickly realized that they were the wrong size. Tried to ask for a refund and they said no cause the box was opened. So now I have to eat the cost ($170). What company doesn't do returns? Brutal.
I purchased the large orange curl rods. They arrived within a few days in time for me to use them over the weekend. After washing my hair and applying foam to roll my hair in a twist out style the results were better than expected. The curls were bouncy and just the right size. I will also try smaller rod sizes as I experiment with different styles from herinvestingthings.com
I made a large order from this website to take advantage of the free shipping option. After 3 weeks of waiting and recieving my order piece by piece, i called in to see where my bleach was. After waiting on hold for almost an hour in finally told that its out of stock. They didn't even bother to send me an email to let me know. I'll literally order from anywhere else. These people do not care.

I work at a salon and do a lot of the ordering for supplies. Sally's always seems to be more expensive than many of the online stores.some products are twice as much for same size etc. Maybe your paying for convenience but as a small business, price is important too!
Last week I bought two hair color cremes and received as a free bonus a developer for each. The customer service is very helpful and helped me find the right products. The return service is fast and painless. 85% of the products I purchased from this store are great and of high quality. Rare are the occasions I meet a product that's bad. Yet, I don't worry much about that as I can return stuff easily without hassle. Sally Beauty is definitely worth a visit if you need beauty supplies.
Went to Sally's to get hair dye. Not one sales person could help us, we spent a long time looking for tips online and choose our own. I asked both women to help us and they basically had no info to provide. I called the next day to try to get some instructions on how to use the developer and again horrible customer service we will never go back. Unprofessional, rude and all in all not a good place to support with our business.
I have ordered several times from their website. I always qualify for the free two day shipping because I always spend over $25. Yet, not once have my items arrived or let alone left their facility it two days. I just don't appreciate them lying about the shipping. My last order was placed over a week ago and isn't scheduled for delivery for another four days. My last order took over two weeks to arrive. Far from two day shipping. That would be fine if they didn't advertise free two day shipping, but they do so I feel like that part is a total scam. Let's not support scammers.
I have been going here for years. You can buy shampoo in bulk, and they can help you get a better match on hair dye. Also they always have sales the only thing that makes me give them a four is the free bag this year was something I could have got at the dollar tree.
I purchase cordless clippers that are $50 more expensive than clippers with a cord I return the next day with the wrong clippers they gave me yet they charged me for the expensive clippers and looked at me like I was a thief trying to pull one over on them. I had to get mad blood pressure went up before they would even do anything they found out the girl charged me too much money for the wrong clippers. They're known for giving the wrong items out to their customers. I'm never going back and I'm going to tell all my customers about this place and never to go there hire people that are more educated if you want your business to run well.
What they DONT tell you in order to keep their "Elite" status, is that everything is pre-tax. Yes, you can have what seemingly appears as $200 but is the before or after tax. In their description, they say to spend $200 or more to keep that status to e hot the free shipping on all orders. I lost mine because of $5 difference. Which sucks because they overcharge on shipping... So, looks like I'm out and going elsewhere. I, at least, know to keep that in mind from now on for whomever I decide to use. Would've been nice SALLY to have specified that in your description of your stupid "Elite" status. Over $5... And it says in a calendar year. Which it was.
Be wary of ordering from this company online. They sent my order to a random address that was not even in the state I live. When I emailed them about it they stated they were not responsible for wrong addresses and there was nothing they could do about it. Very disappointed.
Bought 1 get 50% off and subscribed. The first shipping came 2nd one they shipped only conditioner and charged 17.43 no shampoo. I called the customer rep twice but said they cant help because they ran out of shampoo and they cant send it later to me after restocking. They broke the deal and i ended up charged 17.43 for just one product! Bad business dont buy on line.
OVER CHARGED
Online Service is absolutely horrible. Placed and order which was prepaid and shipped incomplete. Could not get a response by phone, email or even calling a store about the missing products. The online phone system disconnects you emails are not acknowledged or returned. Tried calling numerous times and no one every picked up.
Sally beauty is similar to an ulta in that it has all things beauty. It is very convenient to shop here seeing as I can go here for anything I need. I've bought a hair diffuser here once and it has served his purpose. The only reason I would rate this 3 and not higher is because I haven't heard of most of true brands there

Chewy has the most amazing customer service I have ever come across. For years now, as they have gotten more popular, they continually put customer satisfaction first and always have you donate instead of returning.
So having bleach blonde hair level 10 I go into Sally beauty for advice like i have always done to find they have all new employees that have no idea what they are talking about. I know with my hair color that i need to have color fillers Due to loss of pigmentation from bleaching The color they sold me is a wella color charm 6BC mudslide told me to just put this on my hair with no color filling. WRONG! Two different stores ( Sally Beauty) said the same. Neither knew about color filling. Needless to say I am returning this product. They argued that it would be fine. If I were to use it, it would turn out muddy green. WOW!
I get emails stating free 2 hour delivery for orders over 35 dollars, yet when I attempt to submit and order for 40-50 dollar orders…they still try to charge me the delivery fee. No coupon codes are given for the free delivery, so there is no way to actually get what they advertise.
