Worst experience and biggest waste of money.
I ordered a stainless steel chip and dip bowl for a gift and received a cheap crappy bowl. Obviously a picking and packing error. The person who's invoice was in the box was for the same item I ordered and still the wrong item in the box. They acted like I was making it up and made me take several photos of the item. They then emailed me a shipping label instructing me to repackage it and find a FedEx shipping location. Now they tell me they cannot fill my original order. All in all I have been horribly inconvenienced as I am caring for my husband that just had surgery and have to deal with sending back a cheap $12 bowl. Are they kidding? Their policies are a joke.
I have bought numerous handbags, boots, household items, and clothing, always a good experience. Returns are no problem super helpful. I check the site everyday!

This company must have been taken over by new owners. Within the last 6 months I have received missing items with refusal to have my money refunded. I ordered two pairs of shoes the same manufacturer one came with 2 right feet and the other shoe box had only one shoe. I received a skirt instead of a shirt. I received a broken necklace and a pair of earrings with missing stones. Every time I tried to get my money back they would send a return label that did not work and then I had to pay to have it picked up. This last experience was my final experience I found a great deal on a gold necklace so I ordered 9 of them and I received 4. Now they will not send the necklaces or refund my money. They blatantly said I have to fight with the creditor I used to purchase them and I am now banned from shopping with them which I obviously I would be a fool to anyway! Just stay away from this company I use to tell everyone to buy from them but now they a horror show.
I purchased some clothing that was on sale only discover that one set did not fit me as expected. I returned it and shipped it back. When I checked my account, the refund was about $6. The merchandise cost $16. Rue la la has a refund charge of $10. I am done! No more shopping from this retailer for me.
Against my better judgement based on my past experience with Ruelala I utilized a free credit offer I was sent. I picked a necklace I thought was beautiful. I love green amethyst and peridot and placed my order. I was super excited to get my necklace. I was disappointed to find that I was sent the wrong version of my necklace. I emailed customer service and was asked if I would like a replacement or refund. I was then sent another email stating that I could not receive a replacement and included a return label. I would receive my refund "in my original payment" which was a credit Ruelala initiated. SCAM! Offer me some BS "gift", send me whatever they want, and put me thru the ringer to get what I actually ordered. NO THANKS!
This is my 3rd time ordering from Rue lala, I spend 2000 on 2 orders in total and it was a waste.
1. Alexander McQueen bag someone switch my large out to a medium for the price of the large. I was credited 49.99 plus order price
2. Balenciaga cap and bag my items stated in email shipped yet No tracking info on Fed ex. Items werent replaceable no Supervisor available. No one held accountable
I was actually a long time customer and extremely disappointed with their customer services and regretted for doing business with this organization. I have placed an order and the order was not shipped for over 18 months where they already charged me. As I contacted the customer service, they have stated that the order is showing as shipped in 2020 on their system, so they are sorry for what happened but do not take responsibility as a mistake made on their end. When I reviewed the tracking detail, it showed that the shipping company did not received the order till 2021 summer. I have made multiple complained and requested refund of the items. I checked for several weeks after I shipped back the items and didn't see any refund. After another call with the customer service, I found out that they issued me a credit on the account, which I will no longer use. What a big waste of time and money!
I have been ordering from this company for years and years everything has been great. I have turned so many people on to these people and lately it has been a nightmare. For example they sent me an actual broken necklace then two right shoes now they sent me just one shoe. I now have to print a label and return their item and wait two weeks for my 100 dollar refund. I literally spend thousands with this company and the supervisor wanted to schedule me for a call back because it is 8 pm on a Friday night! This will be the absolute last time I spend my hard earned money with these disgusting individuals.

I bought a pair of beautiful earrings. When delivered they were missing a push back. I wanted a replacement. They had no more in stock and told me to keep earrings and they credited my account.

I ordered Fendi sunglasses June 30,2021 & RueLaLa sent wrong pair. When I called, they said they did not have to correct pair to send me. They emailed me mailing labeling and said I would get "shipping refund" immediately and the difference when glasses arrived. I never got anything on my card. They email me 7/22//21 when glasses arrived back and said "5-7 business days for refund." After 9 business days, I contacted my credit card company to dispute the claim. Finally after my credit card company gave me refund, about 15+ business days, they refunded the purchases but without the shipping, as if I should have that expense for their mistake! DO NOT ORDER.
I ordered over $2500 of home decor. Fed Ex left some of the at the wrong address. The rest was never found. This includes 2 rugs & some wall hangings. Loss Prevention said "too bad". I have photos of items & Ring door bell as proof. "Dispute it on your credit card" is the only advice they had for me. Theft!
I ordered a Johnny Was dress in my regular size which is a small, the dress was too big so I processed the return to receive credit. I realize the xs in the said dress was available so I called customer service to request a refund instead considering my free shipping was running out and that I wouldn't get the credit before then to reorder the dress. I was told by the agent that my decision made sense and I would be refunded my $69.99. Fast forward to a little over a week later, I noticed $69.99 credit in my Rue account, by that time I had already reordered and received the dress in an xs. I called to explain that I should be receiving a refund instead of a credit as this was previously discussed. Only to be told that I would be receiving $60 instead of $69.99, and that was their policy. This woman was so unprofessional, kept talking over me pretty much the whole encounter. As a long time customer of Rue la la, I am beyond disappointed. You do not treat customers that way, and anywhere my business is not appreciated, I'll take it elsewhere. I constantly have something wrong with this store, they can write off or block funds, just cancel the order, block funds twice, write off money in parts so that the bank does not understand what the client is paying for. The invoice is issued for $ 100, they write off 80 and 20, then 100 and stuff like that. Refunds occur in a month, so they just use the money for a month. I also bought shoes, they sent a pair of shoes of different sizes 8 and 10, to my question what to do they said send back, but as if they are far away. Instead of people there are robots, your question will be processed by 100 people, no one is interested in helping you, they answer with general phrases. My family and I have been buying from this store since 2012. We bought here for many tens of thousands, but what the store has become in the last 2-3 years is just awful.
I wouldn't trust the condition guide any more. My bag I just received has cuts in the leather and it was labeled "excellent". When I talked to the customer service agent, he said "beauty is in the eye of the beholder". What an idiot. I guess you shouldn't expect excellent condition, when it is stated at such and you are paying those prices.
They offered $75 back, then $73 and then $70... a dent in the original if I wanted to keep it. Or I could return it.

Total scam! Sent me items I did not order and then tried to get me to buy the wrong items. When I refused they tried to get me to pay the return cost to China for the wrong items! I never received what I ordered and had to dispute it in the credit card! DONT BUY FROM THEM! Only gave it one star because it wouldn't go through without selecting a rating.
I reside in Canada and I've been trying to order an item to send as a gift to my partner who lives in the US. The only way I can send the birthday gift directly to my partner is if I had a US credit card. In 2021, they need to update their system. I would never shop at Rue Lala, after this experience. I was advised by their online chat rep to email *******@cs.ruelala.com, which I did on June 7th. I still haven't received a reply from my email, and today is June 10th. I had to speak to another online chat rep to tell me, they are unable to help me. The way RueLala does business is very outdated.
