I cannot stress enough my frustration with this company. I've ordered 21 Dior sunglasses & 3 luxury wristwatches from June to July and i've received everything but all in different colors (for sunglasses) & 3 completely different wristwatches. I've called the customer service & the response was "sometimes the photo on our website may be a little different from the actual item". And i was like, but the sunglasses that you've sent is obviously & completely different from what i've ordered & so are the wristwatches! I've sent an email to customer service again on Aug 8, sent them all screenshots of the photos of items that i've ordered (as posted on their website & as indicated in my order history on their website) plus a summary of all order numbers, the quantity i ordered for each order number, what i've ordered & what they've erroneously delivered. McKenna C responded on Aug 9 & said she's willing to help but she's having trouble verifying which orders i received the color. I responded by asking if she even opened the photos & summary of all wrong colors that i've originally sent since i've attached all supporting photos & summary & details that a customer service could possibly need to verify my purchases. As of right now, Aug 18, i haven't received any update on my complaints.
Next, I've ordered 21 more Dior sunglasses between Aug 1 to 4 (hoping that i would have a completely different experience this time). Before i ordered, it says on their website that delivery is extended from 13-15 days which is fine by me. 8 of the sunglasses i've received within 15 days, but the remaining 13 sunglasses have been further extended from 13-15 days to 1 MONTH! I wouldn't have ordered if it will take a month before i received the items. The worst part is 5 of the 8 sunglasses that i've received so far are AGAIN IN WRONG COLORS! I've ordered an all plain black lense Dior sunglasses & they've sent me 4 black lense with gold stripe and 1 black lense with silver stripe! I just ordered 1 color & they've sent me 2 different colors other than what i've ordered! I will update my review if i receive more wrong colors after 1 month of waiting for the rest of my orders!
I don't understand how could RUELALA ALWAYS GET IT WRONG! I already asked them why would they post something on their website & delivered something completely different color or item to their buyers. And this is not just a one-off thing, it happened for my last 13 order numbers & for 30 items. And not because an item can be returned to you (& refunded less the shipping cost, for goodness sake!) does not mean that you can always keep delivering wrong items to your customers
If you can deal with receiving something completely different from what you've ordered then you can deal with Ruelala

I placed a order of a 2 Hudson pants... When I got my package with the items that I ordered for my surprise they sent me one wrong pants(AG). I called them immediately and they said that my case was going to review... They had to find out what happened with the pants that I ordered in the first place. And in 3 to 5 business days they would send me a email with the final conclusion. Well, mean while the pants the I had ordered ( And I never got it) went on at one of those temporaly butiques... Só i thought they would send me the right pants and figure out afterwards what heck the did wrong with the other one that I never got. Well folks, they NEVER sent me my pants, NEVER SENT me a email. And when I finally called them the costumer representative said that the pants were no longer available and I couldn't keep the wrong one they sent to me.( At that point I purposed them to keep the wrong pants as long as they send the difference to my credit card. I had paid $89,99 for the Hudson and the AG was $69.10) Guess what? They said no, the couldn't do such thing and I would have to send the AG back if I want my refund... Now reading all these reviews, I have to admit that I'm concern to send them back and NEVER get my refund. Also... I just got another order from them ( I had place that order on the week after the order they had messed up) and now another item is missed... This is getting better and better... I don't know who works for them... If they hired people who speaks and/or understand English... Or even is just a bunch of incompetents... Folks, me and many other people with the exception of a minority have been ripped by this company, they don't care... The costumer isn't something important to them. Items may seem very cheap but in the end they become expensive if you think about the headache of not receiving your merchandise, dealing with a useless costumer service, merchandising with defect, as folks mentioned above about not getting refund or getting it after months... I think now, buying at Nordstrom, Bloomingdales... Or any store worth all the money they ask for... Why? Because if your item have any problem if you even worn it, they will refund you or exchange it. It is a peace of mind... And buying something that you love and dealing with real professionals that make things less stress for you is PRICELESS... Good bye Ruelala.
STAY AWAY! If I could give them No Stars I would. I have had the most horrible experiences with the people running this 'business'. Buyer beware. Shopping online is suppose to be easy and a time saver. Apparently those are not the tenants that Rue La La aspires to deliver. I have had multiple issues with them either sending me the wrong stuff, not sending me things--but charging me anyways and finally this last instant which is totally reprehensible, this site is a scam... About 5-6 weeks ago I ordered 3 jackets, all the same except in different colors... I get an email stating the black jacket is on its way a few days later an Amber jacket arrives--I notify shipping to tell them to make sure they adjust the order so I don't get the same color jacket twice, you would think this would be fairly straight forward right? Well, you would be wrong. A couple days later the next jacket arrives, it is suppose to be brown, a black jacket shows up... no big deal really since I ordered these coats in all the colors... the problem was that no one was ever talking to the shipping department, this mix up was all being made because someone can't tell the difference between colors... trust me, I ordered a beige color block sweater once and they sent me a black sweater--this happens all the time, even though the customer service people tell you this is not the normal, yea right. So after many, many emails suggesting they contact shipping, change the color in my order to reflect the color I still need and then telling them NOT to send me ANOTHER amber jacket or charge my credit card for such, I get an email from them saying 'GOOD NEWS, we found you an AMBER jacket'! What? I don't want an AMBER jacket, I email them yet AGAIN and by the way, with this one issue, I have been emailed back by ERIN K., HOLLY S., HARMONY K., SUZANNE L., STEPHANIE C., JENNY D., KAYLA L., DOROTHY P., NATE J... ALL OF THESE PEOPLE TO ADDRESS CHANGING THE COLOR OF JACKET IN AN ORDER THAT THEY SCREWED UP MULTIPLE TIMES AND GUESS WHAT? Not one person fixed it... there is no continuity and no responsibility. I eventually get an email saying that the jacket, AMBER, not BROWN like it had been addressed multiple times was on the way. I never gave them permission to charge my credit card for $249 for this jacket and in fact told them not to and they did it anyway. I suggested they stop shipment on this package that I never authorized and I was told that I would be LIABLE for the merchandise--even though they could not tell me for sure what was in the box they were sending... and of course what arrived was what I did not want, have an email trail a mile long detailing that I did not want nor approved charges for and they did it anyways... and threatened me with being liable for their mistakes. The company is horrible. I was told a supervisor would be contacting me in a day or two and guess what, never happened, never heard from anyone either through phone or email. Being a Rue La La member basically means your time will be wasted, you will be threatened and they will shirk responsibility for their lack of service. Why bother with such treatment when there are so many better websites, Gilt, HauteLook, 6pm to name a few... all have provided appropriate service and delivered items in a timely fashion. Look elsewhere people, Rue La La is the worst.
Do NOT shop here, go elsewhere like Gilt, Hautelook, 6pm...anywhere else.
