Ross-simon took my money

Ross-simon took my money and waited 4 weeks before they email me asking for a second payment before they would send the chrismas gift for the love of my life. Ross-simon is the worst company I ever felt with they will steal your money and say they didnt. My bank say they did take the money so y'all have be careful. $56.17

Uncaring customer service
December 18, 2020

Ordered a ruby necklace and the ruby was crumbling away, returned it and order one of higher quality, they emailed me to say it was sold out so I order from a different store. They charged my card for the "sold out" item, so I called to confirm the item was sold out and to confirm cancellation. Two days later they sent a shipping confirmation on the "sold out" item, so now I have to return it, meanwhile they're holding $700 on my card for about two weeks. Two phone calls with customer service yielded zero effort to prevent this from happening. It's like no one really cared.

I'll sum it up with a message that I left directly for Ross and Simons:

"Wow! You guys are criminals. I've been closely following prices in your catalog and online and you guys claim to reduce prices when you actually INCREASE THEM. I even looked back at my own order history and caught you! I got item ******* at the "super deal" of $149. And now you guys are listing it at $249 as a supposed "clearance". Hahaha. Oh my god! I am absolutely done shopping with Ross and Simons! And I'm going to write reviews on other sites to explain what I've seen!"

Y'all, that is just ONE EXAMPLE of suspect pricing. There are many others I've caught, over time.

Defective

The ring came with a missing stone. It was supposed to be a Valentines present for my son's girlfriend. What a disappointment! Imagine, they send each ring without a stone, they can have enough for hundreds of rings. Unjust enrichment.

I bought earrings and one hinge opened and I lost the earring and they wouldn't stand behind their promise to replace just the one lost earring. Further, they limited me to place a review on their webpage and eliminate a review from someone else that had the exact same issue.

Don't waste your money. At first I was tempted with their prices but their quality worth much less. All the jewelries I ever bought from them broke after max 3 months of only few times used within this time... A ring got broken (never happened before that a ring will break...), A gold necklace broke, a stone necklace broke all apart... A Bangles bracelets lost all the gold color that was on them and remain silver... And thank God I returned the rest of the order because in reality they looked far from how they looked online... So my birthday jewelries gift went down the drain and I wish I was checking the reviews about them before I wasted my money...

Good quality

Ross and Simons has a lot of affordable jewelries. The pieces always look more expensive than they really are. I always get mine when they are on sale and they would always email me if it is backordered (law of supply and demand) and they give you an option to cancel due to it being backordered. My experience so far has been pleasant.

I ordered two items from them. Both of them were re-work. They did not specify on their website that the items I got were actually used item they bought from customers and re-worked. The re-work was poor enough for me to see the defects. One of amber earrings was soldered and I could see a dark spot on the gold in the place of soldering. The other item - silver bracelet - was also with a defect that I could see after careful examination. I guess nobody would see it on my jewelries but I don't want to buy used items and the company should be clear enough advertising their products.
To their credit, they e-mailed the paid shipping label to return those items back. They issued a full refund pretty quickly. I was satisfied with their customer service during our communication. But what a loss of time and disappointment! Will never buy anything from them anymore.

I have ordered four times from Ross-Simons, and three times the items I received were incorrect. Once I spent a good half hour on the phone explaining in what order the monogram was to be on three silver pieces, and when it arrived, the monograms were not in the right order. About a month ago, I ordered an emerald ring for a friend's birthday, and they sent me a completely different ring.It took about 2 weeks to get a return label, and I just found out the ring is back ordered and I won't get it until July! Needless to say, I won't be ordering from them again.

I bought a necklace from ross simons and they said it will take 7 to 10 business days for the package to arrive. Its been a lot longer than that and they do not give you a tracking number. I called customer service twice and they were no help at all. I will no longer buy expensive items online, i will only buy from a brick and mortar store from now on. I don't know how they are still in business.

I love this company

I love this company. They have a wide range of gorgeous quality jewelry and I have only returned one thing I ever bought from them and it was easy. They're fast and reliable and have good sales. Also, I requested their gold packet (to sell some single earrings, broken necklace) to them and it was here in less than 48 hours. I don't know how that process is going to work out for me yet, but am optimistic. Apparently, they do a live video weighing your gold and give you a quote right then and there. If you don't want it, they send your jewelry back for free and insured.
