I ordered 2 struts for my Lincoln when my mechanic went to install them one was the wrong one I emailed 3 times never got a response I wanted to find out what vehicle was the other strut for. I would never order from them again!

Wrong Part, twice. Part sent completely different from description. Now have to wait for a refund, maybe.
Do yourself a favor, shop elsewhere, a great price for the wrong Part is not a good deal.

Watch Out

When you order from them, for God's sake, don't make a mistake, I ordered the other day and made a mistake, and tried Immediately to cancel my order and to start over, but they won't let you, some of the items were canceled, witch made no sense. And because of this I was Hit with outrageous shipping charges," witch are high anyway" and now I have to pay a hell of a lot more... I tried to get them to help me out. And they said there was nothing they could do, Because I did not request in Time? What the hell, they canceled some, but not all? Just be careful if you order here, and make sure you have your $iht togather. Because they Do want your money.!

My package went missing for a few days and I tried several times through multiple venues to let the company know what was going on. When I was finally able to reach someone I got an oh well get over it response. They claim that they don't offer a customer service department to keep prices so low, but really there is no one around to help customers? I have tried to contact them through the BBB as well and pretty much got the same response "OH WELL you had to find another company to purchase brakes from and NO we will not refund your money and accept the return"

I have received excellent customer service and quality parts every. Time. Delivery of my parts are quick and the one return I had (because of mixed address) was deposited back into my account with no problem. Excellent service overall.

My family has been ordering from Rock Auto for several years now and several vehicles. Just like any auto parts dealer there are issues of wrong parts on a rare occasion but they have always been great when there was an issue (as long as you pay attention to their reasonable guidelines). Honestly, in all these years, I can only remember 2 orders having any challenge and we have ordered well over 20 times from them. They are great priced and as long as it's not an emergency you'll get your items within a few days depending on how close you are to their parts hub. They ship quickly so you can get your repairs done in a timely manner. Love, Love, Love their prices! I found them several years ago when a deer took out one of my front side lights. Local auto parts dealers wanted $135 for the replacement light... I found it on Rock Auto for $45. Huge Savings! From there, my husband and 3 sons have become fans too! Keep up the Great work Rock Auto!

I try to buy all my auto repair parts from rockauto as long as i'm not in a rush for anything because you cannot beat there prices. You do pay for shipping but even with the shipping cost, it usually is still lower than most local parts stores. Plus they offer discounts if you keep buying from them. I've been buying from www.rockauto for about 8 years now. Plus you usually get your parts within a week or sooner

Its Nuts, I am currently dealing with CARID who does not have any fast service, customer service, or even the right parts. Rock auto gave me an estimate shipping day of Thursday. It came on Monday, 3 days earlier than expected with the right parts too. Im pretty content being that its competitor is not doing a very good job.

Phenomenal service

I spent $1500 with these guys on parts I could not get in Australia. No more than a week later and the parts arrive on my doorstep in perfect condition. Packaged well with heaps of padding protecting my goods. Will happily shop with them again.

I had trouble with a dual-mass-flywheel, so I looked to upgrade to a more expensive Sachs wheel versus an LuK. The Sachs was listed for $566. The LuK for $367. I paid the extra for the Sachs and they shipped me the LuK. The website response is "if it fits use it" - we are responsible for when suppliers use interchangeable parts. There appears to be no where to complain to other than Better Business Bureau for this classic bait and switch to dupe me out of $200. Not trustworthy. No customer service to talk to to complain. Even if you have to pay extra money, buy elsewhere. If something goes wrong or they just decide to cheat you, you are out of your cash.

NO customer service

Purchased a DAYCO timing belt set $181.00 had damage on 2 of the idler's. Purchased Sept 23,2018 contacted Nov 20,2018, directed to web site stated order over 30 days old. No further interest by RA; contacted customer service Dayco warranties are processed through the store selling the part. This will make it impossible to use stated mfg warranties. Took my $900.00 order else where.

I ordered several parts from them and received everything promptly. At one point, I thought something was wrong with one of the parts and contacted them. The response was fast and they sent me return shipping labels and offered an exchange or refund. It turns out that I was the one who was mistaken. Everything was exactly what I needed and I had no complaints. I'm glad I didnt end up needing to return anything but I was thankful that they were so responsive to the situation and ready to fix it if I had!

Horrible service

I have ordered parts several times using their criteria and have gotten the wrong parts all but once. I will never use them again and I don't recommend them for anyone! Stay away from this company!

They left a unit number out of shipping address, FedEx won, t deliver, won't accept unit number, Rock won't add unit number... being returned AND I get to pay shipping costs...

I have a 2007 Ford Explorer and thought it was time to replace the starter since my wife is disabled and I did want to take the chance of getting stuck somewhere. On 6/16/19 I purchased a new Motorcraft starter from Rock auto. Several months later we were 106 miles away from home and the starter failed too start. I had to pay for a tow new starter and the core otherwise we were stuck. Upon getting home I emailed the Rock NON customer service and were emailed to send it back, partially at my own expense, for a replacement. If I had not bought a new starter I would still be stuck but apparently Rock auto NON customer service could care less.On 2/28/20 I received an email from Rock auto NON customer service the starter had been delivered. I do not know where it was delivered to but not to me.So if I had relied on Rock auto non customer service my wife and myself would still be stuck 106 miles from home. I had also purchased a. Motorcraft front hub assembly on 1/20/20 and had it installed on the same date as the breakdown. The mechanic called and said after driving two tenths of a mile the bearing is no good as it is very loose. I had to now pay for the mechanic to purchase another hub assembly, the labor and the return of the defective part. At this point I am out $750 due to Rock auto apparently buying parts that are seconds. I guess that is how they sell lower than stores. Rock auto should use some of their TV advertising to create some sort of useful customer service. BEWARE OF APPARENTLY SECONDS BEING SOLD BY ROCK AUTO AND THE COMPLETE LACK OF ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE. I called the number on the web and the message stated "WE do not provide provide any phone customer service". I would give no stars but that was not an option
