Rock Auto will not allow my business to submit a tax exempt order on line. Furthermore, Rock Auto does not allow any contact to correct the problem. I question if the company is still in business. Rock Auto states that they cannot ship to Colorado due to sales tax restrictions, but they will not even process a tax exempt order.
I normally use them alot but they are extremely worthless i do not wish my worse night mare to deal with them sent me a return label i paid get it sent back know there not refunding me not returning item back keeping the item so now im out almost 200 dollars please be careful everyone they dont even deserve a 1 star

I was going to order $500 worth of parts for my vehicle I was all set and ready to order, but when I tried to complete my purchase they sent a message saying that they couldn't finalize the transaction because something with the taxes was messed up! I ordered a wheel bearing and payed to have it shipped next day air. They put an incorrect zip code on the label. ( I verified that my address was correct on my order). FedEx will not correct the address. They state only the shipper can correct an address. It is impossible to get a hold of anybody at RockAuto. I emailed them with no response. I am having FedEx return the package to the sender and buy the bearing from my local parts store. Which I should have done in the first place. Let s hope I can get credit for the part and shipping from RockAuto. This will be my last order with them. I understand not having a customer service department to keep cost down but you have to at least return emails to your customers.
I have used rockauto for several projects and they have been off and on about how they have been with their parts/service. This most recent time is by far my worst experience and will never use this trash company again. They sent parts that do not fit my car, although the website said my exact specification car is right for the part. They then proceeded to charge me shipping for both ways. Huge waste of time AND money. Their parts are low quality and their customer service is basically non - existent. DO NOT SHOP WITH THESE SCAMMERS!

The incompetent and rude employee Casey, actually hung up on me after I asked to speak with his manager. I've never dealt with this bad of customer service in my life and I will NEVER purchase from this company again. Steer clear and go to a local shop even if it means paying a little bit more!
Don't ever use this company. No customer service and No return on parts even when they claim to fit your car but do not. I'm now stuck with a $200 stabilizer bar that was suppose to fit my car but only fits the AWD version of my vehicle. With no customer service number I cant even yell at anyone. I purchased a radiator support for a ram pick up. It came broken. They would not return it because it was signed for as a delivery. They said it needed to be inspected before it was signed for. That literally can't happen every delivery. I was stuck with a broken $400 part they would not return. I would not buy there again.

Rockauto fraudulently charged my bank account $986 for a transaction I didn't make. Cant reach anyone in Madison, WI in accounting to discuss this issue. ONLY was able to email customer service. They were no help and stated that they would get the credit department to contact me. That was January 2020. Customer service, by email, wouldnt help rectify this mistake or help me find out how they got my info. Wouldnt even help me with an address their parts were shipped to.
Ive had to file a police report with my local authorities to investigate. Pretty sure Ill never get my money back and my family will have to do without because of this. This has been a nightmare experience. Shame on you Rockauto for not helping resolve this problem.

I had brought parts from here spent 198 just to get my parts plus paying for the shipping just to get defected parts where my car felt as if it had never gotten fixed. I have my old parts that came off the car as well as to me watching them replace them as well, In order for me to receive the new parts I would have to take off my old parts and then have them sent after I send the old parts back, On top of having to wait till they get here. I have pictures And receipts I have to go home and upload later after work.
