Frustration Plus
October 5, 2022

I go to the Rite Aid Online store.
I put in my email address along with "forgot Password"
Response in red says that this email address/username is not in the system

I try to create a new account
The response comes back in red saying that my email address is associated with multiple accounts.

I call, and wade through miles of auto attendant options finally getting to a live CS agent. She says has fixed the issue. I should go back out to the website online store and "sign up" again.

Once again, it did not work... same result. Do I really want to do business with Rite Aid and put up with this? An hour of my time has now been wasted, and there is no way I am going to try to call again, and spend another hour trying to resolve the same issue (again).

My local Rite-Aid at 17th & Chestnut is filthy and the shelves are never stocked. I've taken videos (too large to upload) of how poor the conditions are; and called (twice) to "Rite Aid corporate" who promised me a return call "within 2 days". That was 16 days ago! To add insult to inquiry, almost every time I visit the store, someone is "helping themselves" to merchandise. If Rite Aid doesn't care, shame on them!

I live next door 2 Rite Aid & go daily for necessities. & have done so for more than 10 years! Everything from cleaning items, dog food, coffee, paper towels the list is endless. I have had the 20% discount for quite a while. To find out a company that makes billions in revenue took a discount membership is utterly disgusting. How many elderly people really rely on that small discount! Some don't have the 20% & we had to spend a certain amount to obtain that higher discount rate. It's sad! I will never buy anything again there. I'm transferring my medication to another pharmacy. I hope Rite Aid is proud of itself. I just watched a little elderly lady who also wasn't aware of the change. Almost burst into tears! Because she now couldn't afford her cat food! Way to go! I gladly offered she refused & said she'd go down the street. Wow. Just wow!

My doctor called in a script of Ivermectin to RiteAid Pharmacy. Been going there for 8 years. They refused to fill this since they said it is not FDA approved. However they give people an experimental vaccine that is Not FDA approved so they dont follow their own policy. They are pathetic to refuse to give me medicine that my doctor prescribed. Shame on them.

Over priced
May 21, 2017

I use my plenti card and i receive the "savings" slip. So for today May 21st i was able to buy 1 get 1 free on cottonelle toilet paper. I go into rite aid thinking it's a deal. Regular price on the 12 pk double roll $11.99. I went to dollar general and got the pk double roll cottonelle for $6 and saved $. 50 with a DG coupon...

We just relocated to this area and in the process of enrolling our 6 yr old daughter into school, we needed to get her a few shots. One was a MMR (for short).

We are currently not on a medical insurance plan and RITE AID wanted to charge us $1,000. Dollars for this shot!

Luckily we were able to go to a Cou ty hospital for assistance! I will never do business with this company and hope others follow suit!

Horrible service
September 7, 2022

2865 Elmwood Ave in Buffalo, NY has some of the rudest employees. I went in to pick up some medicine for my daughter and the sales associate who took care of us was rude not only to me but to my child as well. Telling me I should have left my kid at home if she's sick instead of dragging her in with me, mind you we just left the doctors office. People like her should not work in customer service. Dawn Manzella should probably find a different job.

POOR customer service.
September 30, 2022

Made an appointment 2 weeks in advance for a vaccine. Arrived at the designated time handed all information to clerk, Told to take a seat in waiting room. An hour later a clerk looked out ask what was a waiting for? Said a vaccine went back to the counter pharmacy looked at me and said that she had totally forgot that I was there. I ask for my Insurance card, driver's license and other info to be returned and left. Went online, same night, made an appointment at a CVS got the vaccine. Total time taken to have vaccine administered at CVS less than 15 minutes. Efficiency and customer are things lacking at Rite Aid.

Rite Aid should close it's doors. Service is totally unacceptable. If I call a med in for refill - nine out of 10 times I get the same message. We didn't receive your call. I show them my phone as proof and only then will they refill it. The doctor called in antibiotics for me at 1pm today. It's still not filled. When your sick and need meds you don't need the additional aggravation. Let alone drive back out for it when they feel they will fill it

Don't Go There.
May 12, 2022

[Rite Aid at 2310 Homestead Rd in Los Altos] This pharmacy specializes in frustrating customers. In fact, I wonder if they know what a customer is! Months ago, I tried to fill a prescription there; there was a line of 3 people. The clerk told me that it would take an hour and half for my turn to just drop off the prescription. I went to Walgreens a few blocks down and get my prescription filled within an hour. Today I went to the same Right Aid store wanting to get a Covid booster shot as their website invitingly says that they do "walk-ins". When I arrived there was no other customer in the store, but the pharmacist insisted that I had to make an appointment. I wish they go out of business soon and let another operator come in to set up something more customer-friendly.

Unfortunately all products should be looked up in a windows like shell. I have the awesome ideal to stop thy kleptomaniac syndrome and the drug addictive individual from taking the product from the store and leaving the consumer to pay for their bad behavior.

Drab and outdated
January 22, 2022

The Ambler PA location store is very old, drab and outdated. In addition this location is always short- staffed, Their employees are stressed with the working conditions and putting them in harms way with the frequent shoplifters. The prices are expensive. I don't know why anyone would shop here if it wasn't for convenience.

Wrong Information
October 28, 2022

So, I wanted to get my flu shot. I'm already registered in the system because I have Medicaid. The web site said that they take walk-ins until 8:00 PM. So, I walk to the window and say that I want a flu shot. He asks me if I have an appointment. I say no, and he basically says that I need to have an appointment OR that I can walk in on the weekend. It was only 4:30 PM, and the web site said that walk-ins were allowed until 8:00 PM. So, I would have to come back Saturday or Sunday. Or make an appointment. The web site said NONE of this. I don't know if this this particular Rite-Aid's policy, or if he just didn't want to do it. There was also no one waiting in the pharmacy. I felt embarrassed, but later, I went to Wal-Mart instead and got a flu shot right away. The last two years, I got a flu shot at Rite-Aid no problem as a walk-in. Not this year. I wish Rite Aid would review their web site so misunderstandings don't happen.

Mixed up and litter too
October 2, 2022

I got a text that my Covid and shingles shots were ready for me at my appointed time. When I arrived, they thought I was there for a regular flu shot. She gave me my Covid shot but did not want to give me the shingles shot because I would have to get two shots in one arm. Last year I got four shots; two in each arm. I decided I will not be going back to the Rite Aid again. There was litter all over the parking lot, I saw a guy run out with three cases of beer and no alarm going off, and on top of that they screwed up my medicine. I was told to come back in two weeks for my shingles shot. I will not be going back there again for anything

Trashed store
August 29, 2022

Lambertville store is completely dirty! Can't tell who works in the store since no one wears a uniform. Girl at the register was completely rude and rolled her eyes at me when I asked for her help. If anyone even sees this review I was in the store 8/26/22. Corporate should be ashamed of this location and the employee that represents rite aid.
