I visit This Rite Aid just about everyday. There's few people that don't do anything when you request for help. I needed something from behind the locked showcase. I needed for someone to open it. I waited and waited so I just gave up. There's also been incidences where customer service happened very rude. I think they're overworked...I don't know but they have a serious attitude.
The employees are good people, eager to help you. No problems there, but why do I get a call my RX is ready, I'm thinking I didn't call in anything and the pharmacy people can't find anything. This has happened too many times. That automated call system is OFF.
I called the Rite Aid pharmacy and received the most unprofessional and rudest person on the phone this person should not be dealing with people she has no people skills and is the rudest person I have ever spoken to I will no longer go to the pharmacy and recommend that she be either given some sort of training or removed
I'm highly upset and disappointed in the removal of the 20% discount. I found out back in February, and was surprised. To think that a corporation making billions of dollars would do that, with no thought or regard to the customers who've been supporting Rite Aid! Not to mention, the employees. Some of them who I talked to personally didn't like it either, and said that they didn't even let them know that they were doing it. They just did it. I don't go in Rite Aid even half as much as I used to now. If really need something, I'm better off going to Walmart! This is a real black eye on Rite Aid and could have devastating consequences in the long run! Terrible decision from a business standpoint and a customer standpoint!
Their stores are stocked with nice merchandise with a decent discount section but when I switched my prescriptions over it took them a long time before they started to accommodate my needs. The first few months was a lot of sit and wait or show up and my meds weren't in stock and I'd have to come back in a few days. Finally they added some notes to my file and things are running better but I still have to wait days after requesting a refill for them to stock my meds.
I have always received excellent service and have always been satisfied with their products. They are located in areas I shop at - making it easy to visit the stores.
Make sure you are paying the lowest price for your prescriptions. Go to riteaid.com for best buy, products came on time and in good condition.
I don't mind shopping here even if it is a little higher than Walmart. You can find what you're looking for and be in and out pretty quick.
IT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE WHAT TIME YOU CALL, ESPECIALLY THURSDAY -SUNDAY,,ITS ALWAYS THEY'RE ASSISTING OTHER CUSTOMERS.I GET THERE MAYBE 8 MINUTES AWAY NOBODY IN THE LINE,,MY RX WAS CALLED IN DAYS AGO AND STILL HAVE TO HAVE 15,20 MINUTES!;;
Absolutely unacceptable level of knowledge regarding prescriptions.
Customer service is laughable and simply very pathetic. I have a national and well known quality health coverage, every month there seemed to be problematic errors (excuses...) as to why this or that was holding things up. Just stay away from Marion Rite aids. Go anywhere else
I have ordered online from various venues with varying results. Some incredibly disappointing. Riteaid.com surpasses them all. Everything I have ordered has arrived in pristine condition. Carefully packed by people who obviously take pride in their work. Sale prices are great, as is the 20% off offer that results in real savings, and free shipping over 49$. Items ship fast. I am so happy that I took a chance on ordering online from RiteAid and will continue to be a loyal customer. Thank You!
Ugh! Yuck!
Not helpful at ALL!
First of all The pharmacist completely ignored me. Didn't even acknowledge my existence. I had to knock on the window and still continued to ignore me. So annoying and RUDE!
Three of their staff members were in the front talking, when asking a question about a product they gave vague verbal directions, and instead of walking me towards the product (No one was in the store) only to find nothing similar to the product I wanted.
You can tell its mediocre check in-check out type of job for them.
Save a negative experience and go to Safeway. There is better customer service and you can avoid the dismissal of your needs.
Visited Rite Aid in Paradise, California. Made a purchase but the sales prices didn't ring correctly. Clerk 'cancelled' my credit card transaction and re-rang the items with correct pricing. Credit card shows charged 2x for same items. Called Rite Aid 800 customer service 3 times now. Local manager is tasked with handling the refund. They just can't manage to perform this simple task. Such a waste of time but I want my money back. No store card, other option. Credit the card you charged - simple.
It's been 6 weeks and still not resolved.
It's like she wakes up mean and carries it into the office. Never a HELLO first. Always just barking something at you.
Sorry you hate your job lady - but being rude to the community is terrible.
I left and went straight to Acme Rx - what a pleasant experience.
Seriously, what's not to love? A tried and true company with a wealth of experience in offering everyday items we use on a continual basis. I've ordered many times from their online store and have had zero issues. Packaged well, decent shipping times and unused, un-touched items.
I mean, need I say more? This company has a dedicated customer and I'll keep coming back as long as they offer free shipping and I never receive a used or opened product. :)
I have been going to the same Rite Aid store in St Helens, Or. For over 10+ years. The pharmacy isn't open on the weekends. But, they'll not update the website. You come in during the day and you have a 10+ person waiting line. Yesterday, will be my last day doing any type of business with Rite Aid. The pharmacist named Jerry is great. But the other employees and manager are horrible when it comes to any kind of customer service. Save yourself the hassle, find another place to do your pharmacy needs Rite Aid doesn't care..
Rumors are the store in our Battery Park City neighborhood will be closed. It is so essential to our community. The pharmacy, management, and staff are #1. Please keep them open.

For the last couple of months it's been like pulling teeth to get my prescription refilled. Every time I go there to pick up a script their either have one person working or a small group of people doing nothing but talking. You have to really force the issue sometimes in order to get your refill.
I am going on every platform I can to say that in this day and age there is no reason for orders not to be processed in a timely fashion. With companies like Amazon, Walmart, etc. If i order something on 5/30, it's still "processing", and no one has contacted you about the status in the supposed 24-48 hours to ship than this is not a company to order from, period. Never again Riteaid!
I am in love with the rewards and the short time it takes to fill the rewards needed to actually collect something from it. I have over 16,000 points so far from last week. That's about 16 dollars. Kits amazing that the store gives back
Answer: My father has been using them for years. Now he is elderly and moved out of the area. It is up to me to get his scripts as he has moved to another area. I only have so much time in my day as i work, to see if his scripts are ready. Rite aid pharmacy in newburgh ny is horrible. They never answer the phone and if you go there not knowing if the scripts are ready you stand in line for eternity and get told come back tomorrow and maybe they will be ready
