I did get the job I was looking for using this resume builder (which was convenient at the time, I could have done it by myself but it would have taken longer) and I could SWEAR I canceled my account a couple days before the 14 day trial was up, and I found out just this morning that I was charged for the service. I returned to the website to find my account was still active and used their livechat to contact support. After about a half hour of back and forth and the guy (I won't name him, he seemed nice after this) pretty much tossing the blame on me, I ended up getting a refund and also a good deal on a service I told them I no longer needed.
Folks, I write resumes for my friends and family. There's websites that do it for free if you take the time to search. Microsoft Word and OpenOffice include templates that assist in making a resume. This service is great if you're in a hurry, as it gives you great tips (even some things I didn't know) and helps you get your resume in the hands of your employers faster, but I'm not so sure I'd keep paying that outrageous price for it. Who needs to change their resume every month anyway?
I cancelled early and was told I would have access to the services until the end of my trial, and that I could create, print, and download until then. However, I was still charged! I did not find the service useful as it offers non-premium content that you can find for free anywhere, and te price is horrific in terms of competentence and justification of the market price. Save your money and hire a professional resume write or use free services such as the template on Microsoft Word.
I called in the other day because I couldn't access my resume and after probably an hour into it with Damien being patient with me figured out that I put in the wrong email when I registered I was off by two letters without his patience and his willingness to help I would never been able to access it and I just want to thank you for that for taking your time and being patient great job
