Looking at some of the reviews here it is amazing how many people do not read the information before the purchasing. I signed up and canceled before the 14 days because of the fact that I know I had to cancel before the auto-renewal.
I'm very satisfied with the template I chose, furthermore, I'm so excited because I received a couple of calls for interviews the day before yesterday after submitting my resume, I'm really proud to have found Resume Genius!

BS service. I wouldn't even give them one star if I could. They make you THINK you have two different subscription options - no such thing. When you sign up for what you think is a short-term low-cost subscription, they're actually signing you up for monthly $40 deductions and then they'll refuse to refund regardless of what you initially signed up for, or the fact that you haven't even used the month subscription. Save yourself the money and don't sign with them!

I must say my resume was very effective, I provided assurance to the interviewer using an amazing template, I noticed how he became surprised when he read my resume! I'm so happy because at the end of the interview he told me that the company would be proud to have me in the team. Job obtained!

I went to this site to quickly make my resume since I didn't have my saved one on my computer. When I wanted to download I of course have to pay for the resume, so I click on the 14 day trial for $1.95 just so I can get my one resume. I get a confirmation email that says order history with that exact info with the $1.95 charge. A month later I just saw a $40.00 charge on my card for the monthly fee. Went to look at my email and realized at the bottom of the email it did say I need to cancel it; however, I know I'm not the only one who stops reading after the receipt of my order history and what my card was charged. When asking customer service about this and wanting it taken off, they shut me down threatening me with legal bindings to their terms of service for this payment. Guaranteed this is the only way these scammers make any of there money, by taking advantage of people who don't have the time to read through every single line of website emails.

Cancelled my trial version before the 14 days was up, because hey I don't mind paying about $1 but really, they still charged me $39.95 even after I canceled. Then I called their customer service, which was horribly rude and snobby, and kept interrupting me. They told me the only proof I can give them to get my almost $40 back was by sending them a screenshot of the confirmation email that I should have gotten from them when I cancelled. However, I never received a conformation email saying I cancelled my subscription! How am I supposed to provide proof when they purposely ain't giving me any. I can smell this evil scam!

Why are you scamming innocent people?

They lure you in by promising a free downloaded resume after using their software. Their software works OK but the free download is just plain text with no format of a resume at all. If you want a the resume you've built using their sit then you have to choose one of two plans. The first is a 14 day trial period for $1.95 the second is 7.95/month. I chose the month option. What I found out next was that they charged me $95.00 for the whole year. Even after I cancelled my subscription the charge was the same. The website states customers may be given a refund if it's within the 14 day trial period but so far they won't answer the phone. All I get is what sounds like an answering machine asking to leave a message with my number and telling me the hours of their business. Problem is I've been calling during the correct hours even with the time difference. They don't answer. Then I decide to search for reviews and I find hundreds of people they have ripped off. I don't think I'm going to get my money back. I'm currently unemployed, that's the whole reason I used their site. Do they really think people like me have $95.00 to lose? Avoid these people at all cost. Don't be a sucker like me.

All these 5-star reviews are a big laugh. They all come on the same day? They are obvious fakes here to push down all the true 1-star reviews reporting about this scam shop.
