The company has garnered a predominantly negative reputation, with numerous customers expressing frustration over hidden fees, misleading booking practices, and inadequate customer support. Many reviews highlight issues with non-refundable reservations and the inability to modify bookings, leading to significant financial losses for users. A recurring theme is the difficulty in reaching customer service and receiving coherent responses, which exacerbates customer dissatisfaction. While a few customers reported successful transactions, the overwhelming sentiment suggests a lack of transparency and reliability, prompting potential users to consider booking directly through hotels to avoid complications.

All I wanted to do was edit the dates of my trip. I sent an email, they said I couldn't edit but I could cancel without a fee. I asked them for the Terms of Service agreement where it stated that I could not edit as I did not see this at the time of booking and they completely ignored me.
DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. They book through Hotel Beds also - I called Aria, and they said the res was booked by Hotel Beds, so they probably get rooms from 3rd party sites and up sell for profit or something.
Reservation Stays is a scam company. They did not give us the full refund promised, and would not work to resolve our inquiry. Their "support" phone number is not in service. Avoid Reservation Stays.
Impossible to get ahold of when you have issues. Customer Service hangs up on you when you do call back, likely flagging you as someone they do not want to help. DO NOT BOOK with this sham of a company.
I will never use again, used on accident. Try to call and they will act like they will help you and then disconnect. Call YOUR hotel directly to avoid out of our country service! Paid for a hotel I didnt even get to sleep in... Have to give a 1 star since you cant give them less...
When I initially booked my reservation I thought I was booking with the actual hotel. I have made it a habit to book directly with the facility I am interested in versus a third-party. It wasn't until I contracted Covid and needed to cancel my reservation that I found out I didn't book directly with the hotel. So my first disappointment is how they camouflage their entity and have you thinking you are booking with the hotel directly. I called the 800 number which is provided in the confirmation email. That number was invalid. I communicated with my credit card company and the phone number that they have was also invalid. I went ahead and wrote an email days before my reservation explaining my situation. When I checked my email for response a day later I found two emails from them one telling me that the rapid antigen test wasn't valid and two that my case was close because I didn't respond. Mind you this all happened within a span of 24 hours. At the end of the email telling me that my case was close it gave yet another number to call for further assistance which was also invalid. I attempted to write another email only to get an automated response telling me that the case was closed And to start another ticket if I need it for the assistance. In my email I provided all of my contact information no one ever attempted to reach out to me beyond the previously mentioned emails. I'm hoping that my credit card company does not pay them this company is a fraud they are taking advantage of people And tricking them into using their service. My advice is to book directly with your facilities so that you can receive proper customer service
The first number you see on their website doesn't work. I tried to correspond via email and they "closed the inquiry" on me. They will not work with you on any changes to your itinerary, including when the hotel is willing to issue a partial refund and just needs them to make a single call or email. I don't blame the customer service reps, as I feel they're not provided with any information.
I tried several times to get a refund for an emergency I had, contacted corporate office, the hotel manager and sent several emails with no return response, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS WEBSITE TO BOOK YOUR HOTEL
Horrible scam. The customer service lines are dead ends. There is no agent to talk to and the website is also a dead end for cancellations. Being within the timeline for cancellation policy doesn't matter because there is no pathway to cancel an existing reservation that they have already taken payment of. You have to just eat the cost. Absolutely criminal. Worst service ever.
They do not abide by verbal statements made via the phone. Typically send you a bidding email w/o an option to cancel. This in spite of being told otherwise.
This company is pathetic. They lie, cheat and steal from customers. They're supervising team all use the same first sentence in there emails when trying to contact customers via phone saying they couldn't get through and so they chose to send an email. No one ever calls and they have trained their customer service team to lie and never return a phone call. They are useless and cowards. Don't ever use this company.
Reservation Stays makes it seem like your booking with the Hotel ((Your not)) they are a third party booking company with terrible ratings don't take my word check for yourself (( Reservationstays.com reviews)) ask who you are talking to when booking if they say Reservationstays HANG UP call the hotel directly we got ripped off $217.00 Holiday Inn Express ((Buffalo Airport))said there was nothing they could to help us our plane broke down and we lost our stay... Please save yourself a headache don't book with this company.
Be aware reservationstay.com ripped me off for are stay at (Holiday Inn Express Buffalo Airport) also Holiday Inn Express transfers you to this company to make reservations our plane broke down and reservationstay and Holiday Inn Express Buffalo both said (Your out of luck) we just wanted to stay when our plane arrived in Buffalo they said i needed to cancel four days early to get a refund 9-13-22... our plane broke down 9-17-22 i called as soon as we landed and they refused to give credit or the next night in Buffalo ((I WILL NEVER USE HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS AGAIN AND NEVER EVER WILL I USE RESERVATIONSTAY.COM)) make sure you ask before booking or you might be next.
This company has no redeeming qualities - they scam you into thinking they are the hotel, and they HIDE that there are additional processing fees. They never sent a confirmation email, When I asked to change my dates, they said no; no changes, no refunds. I was scammed into thinking I had booked directly with the hotel!
My mother passed away and I missed the day to cancel my stay, I spent 3 days calling Reservation Stays to ask for a cancellation with full refund, they gave me a hard time. They kept telling me that I needed to call the hotel to ask them if it was okay to cancel, the hotel said that Reservation Stays calls them daily to cancel for people, but they would not do this for me, finally the hotel said they would just cancel it and I got Reservation Stays to cancel... now to see if I get a refund! BEWARE of this company, and their customer service people are foreign and very hard to understand!
$93 additional for non-refundable, I booked non-refundable ($340) but inquired about the policy since a category 4 hurricane was headed there. Here's the response, "Since you made a reservation with us, a third-party booking service. We have our own policy and even if Marriot would cancel the booking on their end, the reservation will remain non-refundable on our system. Thank you for your understanding. Sincerely, Glenn | Reservation Stays"
The webside looked like is the hotel you are booking. They change the dates of reservation and when you call they tell you your reservation doesn't have a cancelation policy so they keep your money. They are THIEFS> BE CAREFUL
Horrible experience with customer service. Had to cancel plans to Branson, MO due to airline cancelling flights for Hurricane Ian. Customer service would not allow refund of booking due to natural disaster. On line customer service with Reservation Stays was rude, Never use this company again.
I booked a King Sized Bed in Double Tree - Hilton in Silver Springs, MD this week and when I opened the door, I got two doubles. I called the front desk who said that's what third-party - Reservation Stays ordered and she could not do anything for me because the hotel was booked solid. When I called the number on my email confirmation, I was given another number to call. I asked for a supervisor and they said there wasn't one. The next day I got an email from the so-called supervisor (from Snap Travel, whoever they are) who stated I ordered a King and it was my fault because I agreed to it. I emailed her back and said, yes, I ordered a King and you gave me two doubles. I emailed three times and have not heard from her again. Lesson Learned. Read the reviews. Worst Company Ever.
Worst experience ever. They refused to refund a reservation and closed my request ticket right away so that I could not contact them anymore. Nobody answers at the contact number provided. I lost >500$ on this scam. NEVER AGAIN.
We booked a one night stay at a Marriott hotel and after hitting enter and getting the confirmation we realized the arrival date was incorrect. We called the Marriott immediately and they told us we had been redirected to a third party and they could not make changes to the reservation, we need to contact Reservations Stays. We 100% thought we were booking directly with Marriott! BEWARE! We called Reservation Stays literally 5 to 10 minutes after booking and they refused to change the date. They are trying to steal $330.00 from us! We have contacted our credit card company and I am going to report them to the Better Business Bureau!
So I booked a hotel stay for my boss and somehow booked the wrong night. In attempting to get them to change it they informed me that it was unchangeable/nonrefundable in the print on the ticket, so now because of my typo I have to eat the 300.00 myself. I would think a company could make exceptions to human error especially when the error is realized right away. I am not trying to scam anyone I just made a typographically error. Needless to say this is a horrible company and will never ever use them.
Answer: Yes, you will definitely regret ever crossing paths with them.
Answer: Terrible liars that scammed. Bad customer service and thieves
