Fraudsters

I thought I was booking directly with Hilton.
Scammers. They've charged almost 1600$ to my cc and no reservations of course

I urge you to contact Hilton there are many of us who believed we were on the Hilton reservation site
I spoke with an agent in the fraud/ethics department the number on the legitimate Hilton website
I called my credit card department and filed a fraud claim
I filed with the government
I reached out to Trilogy media. Scam busters. Hackers. They're awesome

We must $#*! these people down
I saved all year for my vacation
I'm a sixty year old nurse
People can't just take from you without consequences.

I was booking a block of rooms for a group. Initially, not told that the rooms were non-refundable. Once I asked about it, they became 'refundable' for a week after booking. When I said, I'm sorry, I'll book online because I see they are refundable online up until 24 hours before travel date, the agent suddenly found 'refundable' rooms. RED FLAG #1. As I proceeded through the process, I gave my CC. The charges were going through immediately and the CC company was asking for verification. I had this feeling in my gut. RED FLAG #2. I received my confirmation in email form. I thought phew. This was legit. Then realized I was charged in USD$ when travelling in Canada to a Canadian hotel and suddenly this 'deal' was actually WAY more expensive. I was on the line with the agent still and asked to cancel everything -- all refundable right? She said, she would 'transfer' me. After 3 min on hold. She said oh, everyone must be busy. Here's the direct number to make changes. RED FLAG #3. The direct number goes to a machine that sends you in a loop. RED FLAG #4. One of my rooms came through as non-refundable when that was NOT the arrangement. I found a different number to call and when I speak to the agent there, I receive a boilerplate paragraph about how it's a legitimate company and she is sorry but she can not make modifications to the reservation because they have a verification system. She will not answer questions. RED FLAG # 5. The hotel has verified I do have one room there but I can not get out of it or get a refund even though this is what I specified in booking. There is no recourse with the credit card company because I am receiving a product for my money.

I was very skeptical after booking through this company due to the horrible reviews. I know 95% of things posted online are the bad because it is rare for someone to post when something is good. For this reason I decided to leave a good review for our great stay. Everything was exactly as listed in our agreement. Check in was seamless! The only additional charge that we had, we were made aware of at booking and it was for the resort fee. Over all, no issues and I would definitely use this company again!

Terrible Service Provider

I booked a room directly with a hotel in Ireland (I thought), but got the confirmation back from "reservationstays.com" Now I need to modify the reservation. Their website gives a number to call for "cancellation or changes" to your stay. I called them and they refused to modify the reservation, saying "that is not possible according to the hotel." I called 4 times, got different service reps (all with thick accents in some India call-center) and they all refused to modify my reservation. They are all reading from the same script. I called the Hotel directly, and they have no problem with me modifying the reservation, but they can't do it -- I have to do it through reservationstays.com. And reservationstays already charged my card, which was only to reserve the room (reserve now, pay later). I am furious and don't know who to contact to resolve this. I can't cancel the reservation, because now the Hotel is completely booked for those days. I think I am being scammed.

Ask a question via mail, answer me a very short response that didn't help at all and then just closed the conversation, then any other mail I tried to send they closed immediately!
Just the worst!

My experience is similar or identical to everyone here. Seems like you are booking directly to the hotel. No where in the booking does it identify a name for a third party booking agency. Hotel didn't know who they were either. Texted me a fake confirmation number. I went back and printed the actual purchase receipt and itinerary. No third party name on that either. Called my credit card company. Says was billed directly from the hotel. Hotel front desk cannot help because it's a third party. Finally after 24 hours trying to find out who I gave my credit card information to, I found a clue in one of the emails where it says do not reply to this email, it listed THE NAME of who not to reply to. It's the only area where the name is listed of the third party booking agency. Or in this case scam artists. Nice transparency right? I Contacted them. They said they started a "ticket" for my case. Doubt it. Emailed me back a few times to ask simple questions about details I had already given them. Then waited. Emailed me back, denied. If you try to email back it bounces back ticket closed.

At this point, especially after reading all these complaints, it's time for these customer severce disaster companies to be erased.

FRAUD SCAM BEWARE!

I would give ZERO or NEGATIVE stars on this review if I could! I booked a refundable hotel reservation (paid extra for the refundable option) on reservationstays.com thinking I was on the hotel website. When I tried to cancel, I received an email from someone named 'Pat,' that my booking was non-negotiable and nonrefundable. I emailed them back stating that I checked the 'refundable box' (I have proof), but no response. I tried the phone number that was supplied in the email, but it did not work. I called my credit card company, they gave me another phone number which also did not work, plus the number to the hotel chain. After a lot of time and effort, I was able to determine that this website charged the hotel $138.92 but my credit card was charged $226.24. So, of course, I submitted a dispute for this charge with my credit card company. These people need to be put out of business for their deceptive, unacceptable practices. Basically, they are thieves disguised as a legitimate service. Hope others do their homework and read reviews!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I was unable to cancel my reservation within the FIVE DAY window and was charged full price for a hotel stay. I emailed for assistance, but after consideration, it was determined that illness was an insufficient excuse.

They closed their chase ticket and terminated all further communication.

With dozens of choices for website hotel stays, I would recommend any other site.

Scalpers 1st rate.

They charged me $230/ day for a room, that they only paid $139 and change/day for. Crooked business I Ness. Then the rep I spoke to tried to pass herself off as a Maria, with a strong Indian accent. I don't have any problems with any people's. I do have a problem with Liars!

SCAM

My mother accidently booked thru these scammers instead of Marriott without even realizing it. We get to our hotel and they see our reservation but no money has been released to them from Reservation Stays. They let us go ahead and check in while they investigate. Turns out the phone number goes to Dubai. We ended up having to pay the hotel, which was much cheaper than what RS charged. So now we're disputing the charge with Mom's credit card company. Stay away from Reservation Stays!

Horrible

Booked a hotel and paid extra to be eligible for refund. Due to unforseen circumstances I have to cancel our trip. When I tried to apply for the refund 2 days before our scheduled trip, they try to ask you fill an on-line form. When you try to submit, it always fails. Tried calling customer care several times, no response. They are a SCAM. NEVER USE THEM

I was unable to reach anyone to discuss a change in date. On the 2 emails that I received back both had phone numbers that couldn't connect to anything. On the phone line off the website, I sat #7 in queue for just over an hour. I was trying to book directly with hotel, but got rerouted several times to reservation stays booking system. Would recommend that Sheraton Gateway Hotel Toronto airport disconnect from them.

Choose another company to schedule your hotel

First off they come up in the searches with the hotels name so it is very misleading as you think you are working with the hotel not a third party. 2nd they make the booking process confusing and riddled with upsells which makes it hard to understand what just happened. 3rd its customer service reps are not there to really help and they just are trying to manage the calls as they have no control over trying to help a consumer with any problems. Go with a reputable company as the extra $10 will save you a lot of heartache. I have not had problems booking travel regularly online and enjoy supporting different companies that are online. It is unfortunate that this company is not able to help their customers if something does not work correctly on its site.

Horrible service

If I could give less than 1 star I would but that's not an option. This company is horrible. I tried to cancel a stay within minutes of booking, accidentally, no response. Then I tried again & was told it was too long and couldn't cancel and they closed the "ticket"! Stay away!

I was booking 2 nights accom Hotel charge $242/night...inadvertently I wound up on Reservation Stays and was upon checking the confirmation I noted that I was charged $900 for the 2 rooms $307 (Tax Recovery Charges & Service Fees). Be very careful using them as their www site closely resembles the hotel that is being booked. I won't use this company ever again...misleading and deceptive!

Horrible service, don't book through them!

The worst experience ever.
I've booked a double room in a hotel through Reservation Stays, HUGE MISTAKE.
The hotel got a reservation for a single room and refused to respect a double room voucher from Reservation Stays.
I tried to correspond via email and they "closed the inquiry" on me.
Tried to call them but the phone number they send in their emails is incorrect, I assume that they intentionally publish a wrong number.
When reached them through the phone published on their website, they disconnected the call 3 times. When finally succeeded to talk with a support representative, they recognized their mistake but couldn't agree with the hotel to transfer me to a double room. Said that they will refund me but just now seen the refund amount and it's not what they promised.
Don't come near this company if you value your time and energy!

I accidentally booked the wrong day and after waiting 30 min to speak with someone and having a rep give me the runaround for 40min they said they couldn't give me a refund or apply to my future dates bc time had exceeded 1 hour. Scam Scam Scam! They should be removed from Google search!

If I could enter 0 stars I would.

After 3 discussions with Customer Service immediately after booking, no one agreed to help me change the date of my second reservation. Inexcusable - no refund or credit was requested. Just a input error which is obvious as I would not have booked a room for the same person twice on the same day!

When I called Customer Service - I had to confirm that I was not currently on the hotel property. I guess we know why...

Don't use. The rates were the same for the hotel on-line.

BUYER BEWARE

They will not allow you to modify or issue a refund. This site comes up and you think you are booking on the hotel site. Awful experience and terrible service.
