I made a reservation. Went to the hotel to check in and was told the hotel was fully booked. The hotel did not have my reservation either. The support email responded that my ticket is marked closed and not being monitored. I asked them to reschedule to the next day and that was not possible my money had been taken from my visa card with no OTP. I had to block my Visa card immediately to avoid any further deductions. Within 5 mins of making my booking realized I had selected the wrong date, called in to see if there was anyway they could change this as it was a simple error on my part. Be mindful this was within minutes, called and I was #326 in the que to be answered. After 3 hours and 37 mins of wait - there was no other options but to wait that long, they could not help me and I was out the $650 period. There was no way they would help me.
I ended up going to the hotel directly and getting the right dates for 150 less than reservation stays price. Total scam these people are and refusing to help me change or even offer any assistance. NEVER again will I use third party booking when you get the true hotel cheaper and so accommodating to work with. NEVER AGAIN
I thought I was booking a room directly with Hampton Inn Portland OR. When I got to the hotel they had no record of my reservation and the hotel had no room available. I have been trying for 3 days to contact Reservations.com with no luck They also doubled the room rate it was $119.00 a nite for two nights, I was charged $202.00. No luck in getting a refund from my credit card company. I'm still pursuing a refund but I don't have confidence I will receive one.
This company is incredibly corrupt. We were supposed to get a refund over $1000 (we have an email confirming this), but the money has never been refunded and they don't respond to emails. I waited on hold for 2 1/2 hours, only to be told by their agent that Citibank must've made the error. Next step is hiring a lawyer, but so frustrating that it has to come to that. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!
Before you make a hotel reservation, make sure it is not on the impostor web site Reservationstays.com! I made this mistake. I paid additional money to make the reservation refundable. When I called to cancel the reservation they sent me a form that would be "reviewed" by another organization - Refundablem.com. Depending on your reason for cancelling the reservation, the form required things such as personal medical information, doctors notes, death certificates, and multiple documents to prove your reason for cancelling. When I called Reservationstays.com to protest the denial of my refund they told me they didn't make the decision. And there is no way to appeal or reach out to "refundableme.com."

There is no way you can talk to a live person easily and eventually the call was forward you to a remote person (probably oversea answering service) who doesn't know what is going on. They take your money to book the hotel but when you arrive to the hotel, the hotel then tell you there is no reservation for you. We ended up paying double. When you email them the proof, they don't do anything but close your case by replying you "Your ticket with this team has been marked as closed. Please note that any further responses on this thread will not be monitored". Then no matter how many times you write back, they send you the automatic close case message like above. Don't book from them. It is a horrible experience.
I've recently booked a room for one night in New York, so the room wasnt cheap. I informed the representative that I did not have a lot of time to make the purchase. Not at any time did the rep state this was a 100% non refundable booking.

I called the actual hotel to cancel and the GM stated i had until check in time to cancel for a full refund. However, I had to call Reservation Stays and request them to call the hotel and verify because I purchased through them. Reservation Stay told me i could not cancel and they would not call.
